James Holmes Convicted of First Degree Murder in 2012 Colorado Movie Theater Massacre in Aurora, Colorado
GUILTY!!!
A jury has convicted James Holmes of First degree murder in the 2012 attack on defenseless movie goers in Aurora, Colorado where 12 people were killed. The jury also found Holmes guilty of attempted murder on all of the 140 counts against him for the 70 people wounded in the shooting. Hopefully, the next step will be that James Holmes is sentenced to death.
Jurors convicted Colorado theater shooter James Holmes on Thursday in the chilling 2012 attack on defenseless moviegoers at a midnight Batman premiere, rejecting defense arguments that the former graduate student was insane and driven to murder by delusions.
The 27-year-old Holmes, who had been working toward his Ph.D. in neuroscience, could get the death penalty for the massacre that left 12 people dead and dozens of others wounded.
Jurors took about 13 hours over a day and a half to review all 165 charges. The same panel must now decide whether Holmes should pay with his life.

Missing Maricopa, Arizona Couple, 44 Year Old Michael Careccia & 42 Year Old Tina Careccia, Bodies Found … Jose Valenzuela Arrested & Charged with First Degree Murder
The bodies of missing 44 year old Michael Careccia and his wife, 42 year old Tina Careccia have been found in Maricopa, Arizona. The bodies were found on the property of 38 year old Jose Valenzuela in a 6 foot grave. Valenzuela reportedly confessed to the crime and has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder. He is being held on a $2 million cash bond. Valenzuela reportedly shot the victims with a .22 caliber handgun. Valenzuela claims that he and the couple have been acquainted for the past two years and used methamphetamine together. Michael Careccia and Tina Careccia went missing on 6/22/15. Investigators said Valenzuela brought meth to the couple’s home the day before they went missing, Father’s Day. Then they went to Valenzuela’s home later that day and Valenzuela brandished a weapon during a fight. Of course this is the comments of a man facing two counts of first degree murder. A toxicology will have to be done to confirm any of his comments.
A missing Phoenix-area couple were killed and buried in the yard of a man who told investigators he was high on methamphetamine at the time, authorities said Thursday.
Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu said Jose Valenzuela, 38, acknowledged killing Michael Careccia, 44, and his wife, Tina, 42.
“Essentially he confessed,” Babeu said at a news conference.
Valenzuela has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder. He is being held on a $2 million cash bond.
According to Babeu, Valenzuela was found with a .22 caliber revolver that authorities believe is the murder weapon.
Two bodies were recovered from Valenzuela’s property and identified as the couple, authorities said. The grave was not noticeable initially because the suspect had piled other debris and materials on top of it, Babeu added.
Jose Valenzuela claims a fight broke out after he had provided drugs to the couple. Read the story and see if it makes any sense or was Jose on meth at the time he confessed to authorities?
Valenzuela claimed he brought Michael and Tina Careccia the drug on June 21 and attended a Father’s Day party at the Carrecias’ home, Babeu said.
“Sometime later that evening … they went over to Valenzuela’s home, and something happened, a fight ensued and that’s when he brandished a weapon,” Babeu told reporters.
Valenzuela allegedly used a .22-caliber revolver to kill the couple. He shot Michael Careccia first, and then shot Tina Careccia sometime later, Babeu said. Investigators believe Valenzuela was high on drugs at the time of the killings.
The bodies were kept on the property, possibly in a shed, until Valenzuela borrowed a backhoe from an acquaintance and buried them in a six-foot deep grave, and their car was moved to a location away from the home, Babeu said.

Carol Bowne Stabbed to Death by Ex-Boyfriend Michael Eitel in New Jersey While Waiting for Gun Permit (VIDEO)
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN GOVERNMENTS RESTRICT THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS … NEW JERSEY WOMAN STABBED TO DEATH BY EX WHILE WAITING FOR GUN PERMIT.
39 year old Carol Bowne, a New Jersey hairdresser, feared for her life and the threat of domestic violence from her ex-boyfriend, 45 year old Michael Eitel. Carol Bowne sought to protect herself by getting a restraining order, installed security cameras and an alarm system to her home and began the long process of obtaining a handgun. Carol Brown was stabbed multiple times by Eitel in the driveway of her home Wednesday night in the 100 block of Patton Avenue in Berlin Township. Bowne was transported to Virtua Hospital in Berlin where she was pronounced dead a short time later. Michael Eitel was charged with her murder. Eitel, a convicted felon, is a fugitive and being sought by a U.S. Marshals Service.
This didn’t have to happen. Thanks to New Jersey’s restrictive gun laws, Carol Browne is dead. As reported at the Washington Free Beacon, Unlike most states, New Jersey’s restrictive gun laws require a permit to purchase a handgun of which the permit process can take several months to complete. Carol Browne could not simply buy a gun for her protection, the very equalizer of a petite female hairdresser against a crazed ex-boyfriend, convicted felon. Obviously, a retraining order means nothing, security cameras and an alarm system did nothing to protect Brown and the police cannot be everywhere at all times to protect people. Do ypu know what would have given Carol Brown a fighting chance … A Sig Sauer P238 ESP, a Rugar SR22, or a Rugar SR40.
Carol Bowne
When Carol Bowne felt the threat of domestic violence, the petite hairdresser took steps to protect herself.
The Berlin Township woman got a restraining order against a former boyfriend, installed security cameras and an alarm system to her home and began the months-long process of obtaining a handgun, friends said.
But it wasn’t enough.
Bowne, 39, was stabbed to death in the driveway of her Patton Avenue home on Wednesday night.
Her former boyfriend, 45-year-old Michael Eitel, was charged with her murder. Eitel, a convicted felon, was a fugitive Thursday, being sought by a U.S. Marshals Service task force.

45-year-old Michael Eitel was found dead around 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the garage of a home on the unit block of Holly Drive in West Berlin.
