UPDATE I: #FindMalik: FBI joins search for missing child.

The FBI has joined in on the search for Malik Drummond, a 2-year-old boy who was been missing since Sunday night. Arkansas State Police issued a Morgan Nick Amber Alert on the night of his disappearance.

Volunteers are now searching a creek on the other side of Beebe Capps Expressway for any signs of the child. The Searcy Police Department has moved their command post to the St. Mary Church at Park Avenue and Sowell Street; this is where volunteers need to go first before joining the search.

UPDATE II: Missing child’s father: “Just bring my son home”.

The father, mother, and grandmother of the missing toddler spoke to KATV on Monday. With Malik missing for more than 24 hours, the family says they are getting desperate.

“He’s so little, you know? He doesn’t know his way around, and he doesn’t have nothing on but a t-shirt and some pants and shoes…that’s it,” Malik’s mother Tanya Drummond said.

Malik’s father, Jeff Clifton, experienced the loss of a child almost ten years ago. He says that nightmare is haunting him again.

“The main thing is for him to be home safe, it’s not to get anybody in trouble. The main thing is to just bring my son home,” Clifton said.

THV11 spoke with the boy’s mother who said she’s not giving out hope. Tanya Drummond was with her mother and some other family members at the volunteer checkpoint Tuesday evening.

The mood had changed since Monday night, and many people THV11 spoke with are now thinking the child did not wander away from the home by himself.

Drummond said, “We think he was kidnapped, but we’re not sure. Worse comes to worst, that’s what we think.”

If you have any information on the missing child call Searcy Police at 501-268-3531.

10 Year Old Nickolas Taylor Suspended from School for Using his Finger as an Imaginary Gun

What ever happened to common sense in this country … note to educators, ITS A FINGER!!!

10 year Nickolas Taylor was suspended from Milford’s Stacy Middle School for pointing his finger and using it as an imaginary ray gun in the school’s cafeteria. HUH? It gets even more ridiculous. According to school administrators, two students reported to the assistant principal that they believed the gesture Nickolas made was threatening. THREATENING? The fifth grader was written a conduct slip by Assistant Principal Noah Collins, who listed the offense as a threat. Thus, the brain surgeons at the school state that the discipline consistent with “other incidents of a threatening nature.”

If a school is going to punish every individual for what some child in this day makes them feel uncomfortable, there is going to be a very full detention class. Of course back in the day what Nickolas did would have been common place and no one would have thought anything of it. We’ve come a long way.

Finger Gun

Yup, looks really threatening to me, sarcasm intended.

A child was suspended for two days after reportedly pointing an imaginary gun at school.

Nickolas Taylor, 10, was suspended last Friday from Milford’s Stacy Middle School after pointing his finger and using it as an imaginary ray gun in the school’s cafeteria.

“It’s totally ridiculous, it’s not right at all,” Rory O’Brien, Nickolas’ grandfather, told FOX 25 News.

According to school administrators, two students reported to the assistant principal that they believed the gesture Nickolas made was threatening. The fifth grader was reportedly written a conduct slip by Assistant Principal Noah Collins, who listed the offense as a threat.

Nickolas was suspended, discipline consistent with “other incidents of a threatening nature,” a statement from the school said on Wednesday.

Nickolas has no history of discipline outside detentions for incomplete school work, said Brian Taylor.

Nickolas has been diagnosed with ADHD and sometimes is disciplined because he is hyperactive and fails to focus, Brian Taylor said.

Just curious, has anyone in authority at this school ever heard of the word discretion? How about you explain to the child not to do this in the future and explain what was wrong. Not suspending him from school.

Memphis, Tennessee Dead Beat Dad: 50 Year Old Terry Turnage Has Fathered 26 Children with 20 Different Women

Sorry, but I think it is time the Court orders Mr. Turnage to be neutered.

50 year old Terry Turnage will not be getting any father of the year awards any time soon. Unless the award because a reward for someone fathering the most children. Turnage has fathered 26 children with 20 different women to date and counting. Twenty-three of them in Shelby County, TN and it appears 3 more across the river in Forrest City, Arkansas.  Three women in Forrest City went to court asking for child support from  Terry Turnage. He didn’t show up. I don’t know who is more pathetic, Turnage or the 20 woman. What are the odds that all of the twenty woman are single mothers, getting public assistance from our tax dollars. Some how this walking serial impregnation is allowed to just continue along his merry way. UNREAL. Sorry, but this is serial child abuse.

Just curious, where is Barack Obama, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson speaking out against this and the destruction of the black family structure? No where of course.

The Paternity Complaint can be read HERE.

The Tennessee deadbeat who has fathered 26 children with 20 different women has again been ordered by a judge to make child support payments, this time for a two-year-old Arkansas boy, court records show.

Terry Turnage, a 50-year-old Memphis resident, was ordered this month to pay $60 per week to Miesha Davis, mother of the pair’s son Ja’Voin. The support order came as a result of a paternity complaint filed on
Davis’s behalf by Arkansas’s Office of Child Support Enforcement.

A Circuit Court judge also ordered Turnage to “maintain health care insurance” for the child “when reasonably available” through his employer, and pay $365 in court fees.

According to Arkansas court records, state officials have filed income withholding notices with a Memphis company that operates a McDonald’s restaurant where Turnage has supposedly worked (and earned $247.28 weekly).
