Syracuse Sex Scandal: Home of Coach Bernie Fine Searched by Police & U.S. Secret Service
Bring in the Feds …
Officers from the US Secret Service, Syracuse police and the US Attorney’s General office have combined forces to search the home of Syracuse University assistant coach Bernie Fine in DeWitt, NY in connection with the accusations of sexual misconduct allegations. Fine’s home was reportedly searched by the Feds for some 7 hours yesterday; however, no official comment was made as regards to the reason for the search, the investigation or any discoveries. The feds have obviously been called in as the allegations of sexual molestation have to have crossed state lines and federal charges could be made in the future.
New York State Police spokesman Jack Keller said troopers were called to assist the U.S. attorney’s office at the search. According to The Post-Standard newspaper, officers from the U.S. Secret Service and Syracuse police were part of the search team.
Assistant U.S. Attorney William Pericak said he “can’t confirm or deny” an investigation.
“We don’t comment on whether or not search warrants are being executed — we only comment at the time of public events,” Pericak said. “I’m not saying there was or wasn’t one here. But when you get a search warrant that’s sealed, it remains sealed until a court unseals it.”
He said the goal is to avoid “a trial in the press.”
Bobby Davis and his stepbrother Mike Lang, two former ball boys for the Syracuse basketball team, have alleged that they were molested more than 25 years ago by Fine. Presently, Fine is on administrative leave and has denied the charges, stating the claims of sexual molestation are “patently false.”

US Rep. Dale Kildee (D-Mich.) Accused by Family Members of Sexually Abusing His Second Cousin 50 Years Ago
YIKES, if it sadly occurs at colleges, why would we not think it happens in politics as well …
The family of Rep. Dale Kildee (D-Mich.) is accusing the Congressman of sexually abusing his second cousin over 50 years ago. Patrick Kildee, who was a 12 at the time of the first disturbing allegations of abuse, was said to have endured separate instances of sexual molestation for 5 years at the hands of his cousin.
Rep. Dale Kildee (D-Mich.) is denying accusations from family members that he sexually abused an underage male relative over 50 years ago. Kildee’s office released a statement on Sunday evening in which he blames family members trying to blackmail him and Republicans for the false accusations. Kildee called the allegations ‘false and shameful’.
“The allegations against me are completely false and shameful. I regret having to air all of this in public, but I feel like I have no choice. This is a concerted effort by distant relatives, two of whom have a long history of mental illness and multiple run-ins with the law, along with political adversaries to destroy my reputation by lying about something that never took place more than 50 years ago. Republicans tried to peddle these scurrilous allegations during my last congressional race and authorities and reputable news outlets rejected these false allegations.
Now they are back at it again to try to win an open congressional seat. These allegations resurfaced recently when the accuser’s son asked me for money and federal benefits, which I refused to do and which I formally reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigation … (read the rest HERE)
We shall see how this plays out. The Congressman claims he is being blackmailed; however, one wonders what he can be blackmailed for at this point of his career. We have seen recently in the wake of the Penn State and Syracuse child sex scandals just how damning and destructive, if true, these heinous scandals can be.

Not Again … Syracuse Asst Coach Bernie Fine Accused of Molesting Two Ball Boys (Bobby Davis & Mike Lang) … Fine Placed on Leave
The shock and disgust has not even subsided in the Penn State child sex scandal and it would appear that we might have another at a prominent college.
As reported by ESPN, ‘Outside the Lines’, two former Syracuse University basketball ball boys, Bobby Davis & Mike Lang, have accused assistant basketball coach Bernie Fine of sexual molestation. According to accounts, the Syracuse police are now investigating the allegations. Davis stated that the molestation began in 1984 and took place at Fine’s home, Syracuse University facilities and on basketball road trips. What will this investigation bring? These original allegations were presented and investigated in 2003, however, ESPN and other media outlets did not report the story because there were no corroborating witnesses. Now there is one. We saw Penn State University get savaged by their sex scandal, is Syracuse on the clock? Fine has been placed on administrative leave as the investigation continues.
Two former Syracuse University ball boys say they were molested by associate head basketball coach Bernie Fine, starting in the late 1970s and continuing into the 1990s.
Police in Syracuse said they have opened an investigation into the allegations. And in a statement Thursday night, Syracuse said it has placed Fine on administrative leave.
One alleged victim, Bobby Davis, now 39, told Outside the Lines that Fine molested him beginning in 1984, shortly before Davis entered the seventh grade. Davis, the team’s ball boy for six years beginning in 1984, said the abuse occurred at Fine’s home, at the Syracuse basketball facilities, and on road trips, including the 1987 Final Four.

Former Penn State Defensive Coach Jerry Sandusky Admits Showering & Horsing Around with Little Boys but says He is Not a Pedophile
This story might be one of the biggest WTF ever!!!
Good grief, Jerry Sandusky’s comments sound an awful lot like, I smoked pot but I never inhaled.
Sandusky has admitted to showering and horsing around with young boys, in an interview with NBC’s Bob Costas; however, he denied being a pedophile. What a relief that is to everyone, because we all thought you were. Now we, the boys your showered with and their distraught parents can sleep easy tonight. NOT!!! Sandusky also proclaimed his innocence of the 40 sex crime charges against him. This perv is in enough trouble, doing an interview was probably not the wisest of moves. I think damage control is a lit late at this point. As stated at Hot Air, “isn’t it weird that a guy who was investigated for child sexual abuse in 1998 was still willing to risk people getting the wrong impression about him four years later?” Because I am sure what grad student McQueary witnessed was only Sandusky showering with a 10 year old boy and not child rape. Oh, alleged child rape.
“I say that I am innocent of those charges,” said Sandusky in a phone interview with Costas.
When asked by Costas, “Are you a pedophile,” Sandusky responded, “No.”
Joe Paterno’s one-time defensive coordinator was charged earlier this month with 40 counts of sexually abusing eight boys. He is currently free on a $100,000 bond and has denied any wrongdoing. The allegations date back to 1994, according to a grand jury report. A grand jury report detailed claims of alleged sexual encounters with young boys in Sandusky’s home, hotels and Penn State locker rooms.
“I could say that I have done some of those things. I have horsed around with kids I have showered after workouts. I have hugged them and I have touched their legs without intent of sexual contact,” said Sandusky.
When pressed by Costas about what Sandusky was willing to concede that he’d done wrong, Sandusky said: “I shouldn’t have showered with those kids.”
No kidding, really? Has it finally come as an epiphany to Sandusky that he should not have showered with little boys, SERIOUSLY!!! This pervert showered with little boys, hugged and touched them … oh but of course there was no intent of sexual contact. PLEASE DO NOT INSULT OUR INTELLIGENCE!!! We are all certain that you just showered and touched them to make sure they properly used the soap.

Success with Honor Needs a Fresh Start … An Open Letter to Penn State University President Rodney Erickson in Wake of Child Sex Scandal
“Success with Honor” needs to be a reality at Penn State with the coaches and administrators, not just a catch phrase for the students to live by.
In the wake of the hideous child sex scandal, Penn State’s “Success with Honor” might be in need of a fresh clean slate. There is going to be a complete image change required at State College in Happy Valley, where the words of integrity, commitment and loyalty have to be reevaluated. Especially that loyalty one, that appears to be at the heart of the issue of the cover up of the alleged child sex crimes of former defensive PSU coach Jerry Sandusky.
It would appear that a new image is required at Penn State, read the following open letter to interim Penn State President Rodney Erickson. First, get a PR firm.
Once retained, have the agency facilitate meetings through their agents with Bill Parcells and Bill Cowher immediately. Specify no leaks to the press until after they occur and by mutual agreement. Cowher may be the low hanging fruit on this one, he is returning to CBS next year.
If neither is interested in a head coach commitment of an 8-1 Big Ten team, follow their recommendations about who to contact next and ask them; beg if necessary, if they would be willing to consider a consulting gig for the recruitment process. Urban Myer is a fine coach and leader, but regardless of who PSU ultimately chooses, efforts to rebuild the PSU brand must start with a nationally recognizable face of a trusted and respected winner, like yesterday.
Champions attract champions and without that, it is like asking collegiate coaching candidates to walk into the lion’s den (pun intended) wearing a raw steak necklace. You will not even get one to tour Lasche, trust me on this.
This strategy would likely also include a public facing spokesperson effort, and worth every penny if that is all you can get a commitment for from either coach.
Pay them to sit in the lobby. Pay them to ride the elevator a few times, but get them on grounds. Pay them to have a motivational meeting with the team.
