“Octomom” Back in the News … Nadya Suleman Charged With Felony Welfare Fraud

Just a sad, pathetic, tragic story … What a Mess.

Nadya Suleman, better known as the “Octomom,” has been charged with felony welfare fraud. According to the Smoking Gun, the California mother of 14 children has been charged with welfare fraud for allegedly pocketing public assistance payments while failing to report that she earned nearly $30,000 from  public appearances and video residuals. What else could one expect when your only claim to fame is giving birth to octuplets? Now she is infamous for committing welfare fraud.  She is scheduled to appear in court Friday and prosecutors are expected to ask for $25,000 bail. If convicted of the charges, Suleman could face nearly six months in prison.

Octomom, “I hate me”

The 38-year-old Suleman has been named in a criminal complaint accusing her of “one count of aid by misrepresentation and two counts of perjury by false application for aid.”

According to Los Angeles prosecutors, Suleman illegally pocketed $16,481 in welfare benefits, including nearly $10,000 in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) payments.

Criminal Complaint can be read HERE.

Even more pathetically sad is that the video residuals that they are referring to is for the Octomom exploited to making porn, ‘Octomom: Home Alone’ (VIDEO). [warning: Adult, no nudity. The video is more to explain the desperate, exploited situation.]

What I do find amazing that with all the fraud that takes place within the welfare system, the feds can only seem to nab the Octomom.

The former star of the TV series “The Partridge Family” was booked in a Los Angeles jail on a driving under the influence of alcohol charge early Saturday, the statement said. Jail records show he was freed on $15,000 bond several hours later.

“Cassidy was observed making a right turn on a red light, in violation of a black and white regulatory sign indicating, ‘No Right Turn On Red,’” the CHP said. The traffic stop happened off the 405 Freeway, near the Los Angeles International Airport.

Actor and Martial Arts Expert Steven Seagal Considers a Run for Arizona Governor

Arizona Governor Steven Seagal?

Steven Seagal, the actor and martial arts expert says he is considering a run to be the governor of Arizona. Seagal said in an interview with ABC15 that the number one problem facing America today is open border. The 61 year old actor stated that because of the US open borders “any type of terrorism could come, and does come”.  Seagal had a pretty much common sense and factual approach on his views of borders amnesty and the need to secure our borders. Seagal goes on to discuss his association with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and that when they arrest someone who commits a crime, they do not care whether they are Mexican, Irish, French, German or Chinese.

Seagal says he’s had discussions with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio about the prospective bid, but has other priorities to consider.

The 61-year-old Seagal made the comments while talking about his newly released reality series “Steven Seagal – Lawman: Maricopa County” (The Lost Episodes.)

According to Seagal, the number one problem facing the U.S. is its open borders.

The Daily Mail:

He told ABC that the country’s leading problem today is open borders, ‘I don’t think our biggest problem is Islamist terrorism in America. Oh I don’t think that’s it at all,’ he said. ‘The biggest problem is open borders. I think that across these borders, any type of terrorism can occur.’

He believes that open borders are, ‘ a tremendous oversight by the current administration.’

He quoted Reagan who said, ‘If you don’t have security on your borders you don’t have a country.’

One other issue Seagal would address is that of amnesty.

‘You have to be very careful with blanket pardons,’ he said.If you’re gonna pardon people you should do a background on them to make sure they’re safe for society.’

Seagal also told ABC that all he and Arpaio care about on their tv show is ‘whether or not you’re a criminal.’

He says that he and the tough sheriff do not discriminate based on race or nationality.

Autopsy & Toxicology Reports Show No Drugs or Alcohol in Systems of Actor Paul Walker and Roger Rodas Who Died in Fiery Car Crash

The final autopsy and toxicology reports for actor Paul Walker and Roger Rodas have been released and state that neither had alcohol or drugs in their system at the time of the fiery, high speed crash on November 30, 2013.  The report also stated that the vehicle that Walker and Rodas  was in was traveling at an “unsafe speed, approximately 100+ mph, in the #1 eastbound lane on Hercules Street approaching Constitution.” It then spun out before striking a curb, a light post and two trees and then burst on fire.

The Porsche carrying “Fast & Furious” star Paul Walker was speeding at more than 100 miles per hour when it crashed in November, killing the actor and a friend, according to the final coroner’s report on the deaths.

The 15-page report released Friday by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office answered several questions that had been the subject of speculation about how Walker and racing team partner Roger Rodas died.

The two men apparently did not live long after the high-performance 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, which was traveling at “approximately 100+ mph,” slammed into a light post and tree and burst into flames, the report said.

Legendary pop singer Phil Everly, who together with his brother, Don, formed one of the 1960s most popular pop duos, died Friday, his wife, Patti Everly, told the Los Angeles Times. He was 74.

“We are absolutely heartbroken,” she told the newspaper, adding that Everly’s death from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease was brought on after a lifetime of cigarette smoking. “He fought long and hard.”

The Everly Brothers charted nearly three dozen hits in their heyday from the late ’50s through the early ’60s. Some of their most notable songs – “Cathy’s Clown,” “Wake Up Little Susie,” “Bye Bye Love,” “When Will I Be Loved” and “All I Have to Do is Dream” – have become pop staples and influenced major acts such as the Beatles, the Beach Boys and the Byrds, the Times reported.

In all, their career spanned five decades, although they performed separately from 1973 to 1983. In their heyday between 1957 and 1962, they had 19 top 40 hits.

The two broke up amid quarrelling in 1973 after 16 years of hits, then reunited in 1983, “sealing it with a hug,” Phil Everly said.
