President Barack Obama Weekly Address, “We Need a Government That Lives Within Its Means”

File this one under, YOU HAVE GOT TO BE JOKING!!!

In this weeks Presidential address, Barack Obama actually had the audacity to say the following … “We need a government that lives within its means.” This is actually comical coming from Barack Obama. How about this president start by providing the perception to common every day Americans that he and his wife are sacrificing?

Just as both parties cooperated on tax relief that is now fueling job growth, we need to come together around a budget that cuts spending without slowing our economic momentum.  We need a government that lives within its means without sacrificing job-creating investments in education, innovation, and infrastructure.

We need a government that lives within its means, is this guy serious? Since when did this president care about preventing government spending? Obviously Obama did not take his own advice inthis years $1.65 trillion budget. More from the  Gateway Pundit:

Barack Obama tripled the national deficit in his first year in office. In his second year the deficit was again a record $1.29 Trillion. This year the deficit will be even higher.

58% of Americans Favor Government Shutdown Over Spending at Current Levels

Once again President Barack Obama and Democrats are on the wrong side of the issue and against the  American people.

A recent Rasmussen polls states that 58% of registered voters favor a government shutdown rather than Barack Obama and the Democrats choice of current government spending levels. Just 33% are in favor of Congress avoid a government shutdown by authorizing spending at the same levels as last year. Democrats find them selves on the wrong side of the American people as 80% of Republicans, but most importantly 59% of voters not affiliated with either major party believe a shutdown is a better option until the two sides can agree on spending cuts.

As Republicans and Democrats in Congress haggle over the budget, most voters would rather have a partial shutdown of the federal government than keep its spending at current levels.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 33% of Likely U.S. Voters would rather have Congress avoid a government shutdown by authorizing spending at the same levels as last year. Fifty-eight percent (58%) says it’s better to have a partial shutdown until Democrats and Republicans can agree on what spending to cut. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Oops … Barack Obama Drops “S-Bomb” At Budget Presser

More brilliance from the smartest President EVAH!

Yesterday during President Barack Obama’s press conference on his lame budget, Obama dropped the “S-Bomb”. Exactly how is it that one confuses the word share and “$HIT”?

From RCP, click on pic for VIDEO

President Obama flubs “lowest sh**” when he meant to say “lowest share.”

OBAMA: “.. bring annual domestic spending to its lowest sh** — lowest share to the economy since Dwight Eisenhower.”

Smartest President ever, eh?

President Barack Obama’s New Budget: $1.65 Trillion Deficit for This Year

LEADERSHIP?

Obviously President Barack Obama did not get the “shellacking” message of the 2010 midterm elections. Obama’s new budget is $1.65 trillion for this year. WHAT! Freezing spending is not going to cut it sir, especially when you increased federal spending to record levels.

The other one-third of the savings would come from tax increases, including limiting tax deductions for high income taxpayers, a proposal Obama put forward last year only to have it rejected in Congress.

The Obama budget recommendation, which is certain to be changed by Congress, would spend $3.73 trillion in the 2012 budget year, which begins Oct. 1, a reduction of 2.4 percent from what Obama projects will be spent in the current budget year.

The Obama plan would fall far short of the $4 trillion in deficit cuts recommended in a December report by his blue-ribbon deficit commission.

Obama claims his budget will reduce record federal deficits by $1.1 trillion over the next decade. That’s it? Obama did not even take the recommendations of hisbudget reducing committee of deficit reduction. Is this President really serious about lowering the federal deficit? It certainly appears that he does not want to lead with any find of biting deficit reduction plan.

More from Big Government and the so-called born again fiscal conservative Obama, not. Sadly, the Other McCain is correct, Obama’s budget is a joke and “We the People” are not laughing.

WAPO: Obama budget projects record $1.6 trillion deficit. Didn’t Obama just extend the Bush tax cuts?

Households with income of more than $250,000 a year would immediately see new limits on the value of their itemized deductions. And starting in 2013, they would lose the lower tax rates and other breaks that were enacted during the George W. Bush administration and recently extended.

Outgoing House Speaker Pelosi Has Lost Her Mind, She Says “Deficit Reduction Has Been a High Priority”

UNBELIEVABLE …is it any wonder why Democrats lost their majority in the House and Pelosi lost her gavel.

Outgoing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has either lost her mind, is delusional or is just a miserable liar who has no concept of reality or caring for the American people.  Speaker Pelosi told reporters today that, “Deficit reduction has been a high priority.”WHAT!!! With Pelosi Democrat math, a  $5.2 trillion federal defict increase in just four years is defined as a “Deficit Reduction”. How could this woman say this with a straight face? The answer, BOTOX. Then again, she also said she would run the most ethical Congress and drain the swamp. We all know how that turned out.

As reported at Fox Nation:

At her final press conference as House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said, “Deficit reduction has been a high priority for us. It is our mantra, pay-as-you-go.”

The numbers tell a different story.

When the Pelosi Democrats took control of Congress on January 4, 2007, the national debt stood at $8,670,596,242,973.04. The last day of the 111th Congress and Pelosi’s Speakership on December 22, 2010 the national debt was $13,858,529,371,601.09 – a roughly $5.2 trillion increase in just four years.Furthermore, the year over year federal deficit has roughly quadrupled during Pelosi’s four years as speaker, from $342 billion in fiscal year 2007 to an estimated $1.6 trillion at the end of fiscal year 2010.

As the Gateway Pundit states, “its Nancy Pelosi’s final insult” to the American people.
