Aruban Travel Tourism Advertisement? Maybe someone would like to Explain themselves?
Aruba has been trying to advertise themselves after their disastrous tourists numbers that have shown declines in tourism over the past 9 months. Maybe someone would like to explain themselves why they would use “Natalee Holloway’s name” to advertise tourism and travel to Aruba. Use the name of a dead teenager for a low price to Aruba. Talk about an all time low. How despicable is this? Using the name of a missing presumed dead teenager to market travel to Aruba. Words cannot even begin to describe this. The below is an actual screen capture of a google ad used to promote tourism in Aruba.

Aruba: Social workplace needed for drug addicts … Like what, the Aruban Hotels?
So the PC crowd in Aruba think that drug addicts of Aruba should not be in prison, but instead in a social work place. Do they wish to main stream them with the tourists? Don’t they have enough bad elements walking around Aruba? One thing is for certain and that is Aruba has a real issue with drug addicts. They are walking a thin line with the chance that a desperate drug addict in search of money to buy drugs may act accordingly against a tourist. If that ever happens with the present climate that exists, Aruba will become a ghost town.
ARUBA – Prison term is not the solution for the problem of drug addicts. It will be better for the society if the drug addicts can get out of this vicious circle by means of a structural approach. A social workplace would be a solution, said lawyer Jacobo Petrocthi in his defence of a client that is addicted to drugs.
Aruban Officials are Just now Figuring Out they are in trouble … PPA Leader Benny Nisbet speaks out
More Aruban politicians are coming forward and stating their displeasure in how MEP has things handled things with regards to tourism. Better be careful Benny, MEP may call out their “militants” as previously warned.  Even though most of the reasons put forth by PPA leader Benny Nisbet are inconsequential, we will give him credit for actually stating that “the disappearance of Natalee Holloway has serious consequences for Aruba.” When was the last time someone in an Aruban authority stated the obvious.
However, to be honest regarding the matter, it was not the disappearance of Natalee Holloway that was detrimental to Aruba. It was how Aruba investigated or should we say the lack of an investigation that was nothing more than a process of going through the motions. People do not just disappear on a vacation island the size of Aruba. She was not on a cruise ship where she could have fallen overboard into the ocean. She was last seen in a car leaving Carlos N’ Charlie’s with Joran van der Sloot, Satish and Deepak Kalpoe.
That being said, Aruba needs to understand that they need to stop making excuses for their tourism problems. Aruba’s decline in tourism has nothing to do with the euro, its not the Middle East, nor is it terrorism plots on airplanes from England. If all those were valid reasons then the rest of the Caribbean would be experiencing declining tourism. THEY ARE NOT. The rest of the Caribbean is experiencing gains in tourism.

Aruba’s decline in tourism can be traced to one single event, Natalee Holloway. The manner in how Aruba and its Courts allowed favoritism and cronyism to outweigh justice for an American tourist gone missing. An investigation from the outset that was intended to fail. First it was though that it would go away, then it was pinned on two black security guards. Never were the real suspects ever gone after or interrogated in any serious manner. If this is how Aruba would treat its tourists if something happened to them, is it really any wonder why people stay away?

House Keeping in Aruba … Enter the Dutch … Is this Show or the Real Deal?
Aruban authorities have finally asked for help from the Dutch. Unfortunately this request comes some 14 months too late. The real question is if this new investigation is to be believable by the new Dutch team coming to Aruba, they will have to be able to re-question the suspects and witnesses. Also they will actually have do a proper interrogations with follow-up questions, not the farce that took place last summer.
(Vanderbilt – ‘06)
A strong mother comes to clean up the mess made by the children.
The family business has been damaged by the irresponsible siblings who
should be punished appropriately.
The Dutch have to reestablish the trust required for visitors to have confidence in their physical safety.
Justice must prevail!

Amigoe: The Netherlands is assisting with the Natalee Holloway-case
A day late and a dollar short comes to mind … only that its been fifteen months, not a day. Fifteen months later they are sending the KLPD to Aruba, are you kidding? Aruba, what’s the rush? Maybe you would like to wait another 10 months and see more declining tourism. Also, we do not care that it is at your own expense. Where did Natalee Holloway go missing? ARUBA.
Why do tourists refuse to go to Aruba? Because even in requesting help from The Netherlands they are blaming the family for the negative press that Aruba has received. Aruba … you are no martyr. How heroic, in the face of this negative campaign you are forging on to find Natalee. That is after you have purposely botched, mislead and covered up what really happened.
“Aruba sympathizes with the parents and close family of the girl, despite the negative campaign against the island”.
Will the Dutch come in and save the day? You best hope so. Its time for Aruba to come clean and tell what it knows in regards to the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Its not very often you get a second chance to make a first impression. I hope you take advantage of this opportunity to save face, do the right things and provide “Justice for Natalee”
Amigoe: August 24, 2006 The Netherlands is assisting with the Holloway-case
After a tip that Natalee Holloway’s body was buried in the sand hills, a big group of officers searched the area in January of this year.
Maybe they should have been searching near this area?
ARUBA – The Netherlands will soon send constables to Aruba to investigate the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. The Netherlands does this at her own expense. The Corps National Police Service in the Netherlands (KLPD) is going to help Aruba with the Holloway-case. They do this upon request of Justice-minister Rudy Croes (MEP). Croes has also asked Interpol to thoroughly examine the file.
Holloway disappeared more than a year ago during a school trip. The authorities have worked on that case since then, without finding any trace of the girl. Minister Croes has sent a letter to The Hague a week ago requesting assistance. He hopes that with police assistance from the Netherlands, the case will be solved faster. (This request was not done 12, 13 or 14 months ago, why?) “Aruba sympathizes with the parents and close family of the girl, despite the negative campaign against the island”, writes Croes in the letter. (Oh, and there has been no negative campaign perpetrated by Aruba, some members of the Aruban media and its minions. Try again. Maybe Aruba would like to fire up the web-site “Aruba the Truth again” to spread misinformation.) The request went to minister Johan Remkes (VVD) of Home Affairs and the minister of Kingdom Relations, Atzo Nicolai (VVD). As a result of the request, the KLPD will get full leadership of the investigation. Police officers of the Dutch corps will come to Aruba especially for the investigation. The Netherlands will also pay for the accommodation expenses of these officers in Aruba and also the expenses for the commitment. They will also get a location of their own, out of which they can work on the case. The police officers are allowed to carry a gun and use it and they get power of criminal investigation. They will also get access to relevant information from the Holloway-file and all the information system.
