Barack Obama, Michelle and the first kids are on separate vacations costing the tax payers double. Obama is down in Florida golfing with Tiger Woods and getting golf lessons from Butch Harmon. The golf foursome is being completed by United States Trade Representative Ron Kirk and Houston Astros owner Jim Crane. You know, exactly what the rest of the 99% can do every day. Meanwhile, Michelle Obama is off skiing with the girls out West on a separate vacation. As Americans continue to struggle, record numbers are on food stamps and disabilities, and individuals are still out of work … Obama sets the example and plays golf.

President Barack Obama hit the greens Sunday with famed golfer Tiger Woods, according to deputy White House press secretary Josh Earnest.
Obama is spending President’s Day weekend at a sprawling resort in Palm City, Florida, where he’s polishing his golf game. On Saturday, he worked on his swing with Woods’ former coach, Butch Harmon.
The White House did permit press coverage of the golf outing Sunday.
Along with Woods, Obama played with U.S Trade Representative Ron Kirk and Jim Crane, a Democratic donor who owns the resort and the Houston Astros. Obama played with Kirk and Crane on Saturday, as well.

Remember those famous words from Barack Obama in 2009 during an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos? No not the one where George had to remind Barack that he was a Christian and not Muslim (VIDEO). Actually we are referring to the one below where Obama tells America that “Everyone must sacrifice … Everyone must have some skin in the game.” That is everyone except Barack, Michelle and the rest of the first family. As Obama says about everything he inflicts upon “We the People” … It is for thee, not for me.
As reported at the Telegraph, Barack Obama’s $7 million Hawaii vacation is an insult to America’s struggling middle class. With the nation at $16.4 trillion and counting, Obama expects John Q. Public to sacrifice, yet Barack an the first family get to vacation in Hawaii at a cost of $7 million to the tax payers. NICE. Isn’t it peculiar that Obama demonized the so-called rich during the election, yet he expects the 98% to pay for his 1% vacations?
$16.4 trillion – that’s the latest figure for America’s massive national debt. Nearly $6 trillion of this debt was racked up in the first term of the Obama presidency – a 50 percent increase. It is horrifying to imagine what the debt will be when Obama leaves the White House in 2016, unless Congress has the willpower to stand in the way.
Meanwhile, as the world’s superpower is literally drowning in debt, President Obama is basking in the warmth of the beaches of Hawaii, at an exclusive resort way beyond the financial reach of most Americans. The president pays the cost of his own family’s accommodations, but there are a large number of associated costs which are paid from the public purse.
What is the actual cost of Obama’s lavish vacation to the American taxpayer? A staggering $7 million, according to veteran White House reporter Keith Koffler, who wrote in his blog earlier this week:

The United States and all Americans are on the verge of the fiscal cliff and Obama heads off to vacation in Hawaii as he tells all to let them Eat Christmas Cookies. What leadership from our president. Thanks America, you reelected him. There is a reason why Obama is called the Vacationer in Chief. All Americans are facing a tax increase come January 1, 2013 and Obama goes on vacation instead of hammering out a deal. UNREAL. Just this past week, the thin skinned president got defense about a question regarding mass murder violence during his first term. Obama stated, “I don’t think I’ve been on vacation.” It appears that is exactly just where you have been. How can any president just head off on vacation after literally doing nothing since election day to end the fiscal cliff crisis.
Let them eat Christmas Cookies
President Barack Obama delivered an unexpected update on the status of negotiations to avert the year-end fiscal cliff, saying he was still optimistic that a “comprehensive” deal could get done before a deadline in 10 days.
“I want next year to be a year of strong economic growth. … Call me a hopeless optimist, but I still think we can get this done,” Obama said.
Obama said he hoped that the coming holiday break would give all parties in the fiscal cliff debate some “perspective,” telling members of Congress to “cool off, drink some egg nog, sing some carols” and eat Christmas cookies. Obama and his family will leave for Hawaii at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
Obviously Barack Obama is not concerned that 100% of Americans, including the middle class, are about to have their taxes increased. Hell, as it is Americans will face tax increases in 2013 thanks to Obamacare. In 2011 Obama postponed his vacation in Hawaii with his family while the payroll tax vote was in limbo. Are you kidding me? Funny how he could give a $hit now that he has been reelected. The fiscal cliff is a bit bigger than the payroll tax, yet Obama has no issue taking a vacation like the Absentee President he is. My what a difference a year and a reelection makes.
Obama told leaders it would be unacceptable if House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) adjourned for Christmas next week without extending a 2-percentage point reduction of the payroll tax.
A White House official disputed the notion that Obama had altered his vacation plans because of Romney’s criticism.
The official noted that Obama had already threatened to spend Christmas with Republicans in Washington if Congress failed to take action on payroll taxes.
“We’re going to keep pushing Congress to make this happen,” Obama said Friday. “Now is not the time to slam the brakes on the recovery. Right now, it’s time to step on the gas. We need to get this done. And I expect that it’s going to get done before Congress leaves. Otherwise, Congress may not be leaving, and we can all spend Christmas here together.”

ABC’s Jake Tapper held President Barack Obama’s feet to the fire and chastised him while asking the president where he has been in the past four years when it comes to gun violence. As stated at the Daily Caller, suddenly Obama has a newfound concern over gun violence in the wake of the Sandy Hill Elementary School shooting that left 26 dead, including 20 children between the ages of 6 and 7 years old.
“It seems to a lot of observers that you made the political calculation in 2008 in your first term and 2012 not to talk about gun violence,” Tapper said during the noon White House press conference. “You had your position on renewing the ban on semi-automatic rifles that then-Sen. Biden put into place, but you didn’t do much about it. This is not the first incident of horrific gun violence of your four years. Where have you been?”
Obama thin skinned and defense answer: “Well, here’s where I’ve been, Jake. I’ve been President of the United States dealing with the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, an auto industry on the verge of collapse, two wars. I don’t think I’ve been on vacation.”
Hmm, strange choice of words. Obama makes this vacation reference as he is about to take a 20 day vacation in Hawaii. Not been on vacation eh, Mr. President? In your first term as president Obama has played over 100 round of golf. Not been on vacation, you mean like the non-vacations that you have not been on listed below?

Remember when President Barack Obama stated that every one had to have skin in the game? What he failed to explain was he meant everyone except himself. How is it that someone who claims that everyone must sacrifice does not begin by setting the example himself? Amazing how Barack “Mr. 1%” Obama asks others to do what he will not himself.

But as America is on the verge of going over the fiscal cliff, King Obama and his Royal family are off to Hawaii for a 17 day Christmas vacation. How many Americans are taking a 17 day Christmas vacation? It’s good to be king, isn’t it. Many Americans are still out of work, a record number of Americans are still on food stamps and many are just giving up looking for employment. Now all Americans face the fiscal cliff and the increase of their taxes in 2012 thanks to Obamacare. However, this does not stop Barack Obama and his family from living La Vita Loca. Although Obama pays for the lodging, the American tax payers pick up the security costs where last year the trip cost more than $1 million.
While most Americans are lucky to get a few weeks of holiday every year, it seems the country’s leader gets a little more freedom in the matter.
President Barack Obama has announced his Christmas vacation to Hawaii – for a staggering 17-day trip.
Obama, who visited the island just two weeks ago for an economic summit, will head to Honolulu on Saturday December 17 until Monday January 2.
Amazing how the only thing that has stopped Barack Obama from vacationing and golfing was reelection. Not the economy, not record number of Americans om food stamps, not record number of American on disability, not continued poor jib growth, not the specter of a fiscal cliff, not out of control federal spending, not the lack of a budget, not a Middle East on the brink and not the assassination of a US Ambassador and death of three other Americans in Benghazi, Libya.

Residents living near the beachfront homes where President Barack Obama and First Family vacation with their friends every year since 2008 were alerted on Monday to some specifics of the Obamas’ holiday vacation plans.
The report delivered to residents living along the ocean and canal that surrounds the multi-million dollar homes at Kailuana Place where the President stays, informed them of restrictions that will be implemented for 20 days beginning December 17 and running through January 6.
With the staff, special forces, local police presence and equipment, the President’s visit adds up annually to at least a $4 million vacation courtesy of the Hawaii and federal taxpayers.
While the President and his friends pay for their own rental homes, taxpayers pick up the cost of security and waterfront housing for the Secret Service, Navy Seals and Coast Guard as well as staff accommodations at a plush beachfront Waikiki hotel.
