Its Good to be King: America Headed Toward Fiscal Cliff and the Obama Royal Family is Off to Hawaii For 17 Day Vacation

Remember when President Barack Obama stated that every one had to have skin in the game? What he failed to explain was he meant everyone except himself.  How is it that someone who claims that everyone must sacrifice does not begin by setting the example himself? Amazing how Barack “Mr. 1%” Obama asks others to do what he will not himself.

“Everyone must sacrifice… Everyone must have some skin in the game.”

But as America is on the verge of going over the fiscal cliff, King Obama and his Royal family are off to Hawaii for a 17 day Christmas vacation. How many Americans are taking a 17 day Christmas vacation? It’s good to be king, isn’t it. Many Americans are still out of work, a record number of Americans are still on food stamps and many are just giving up looking for employment. Now all Americans face the fiscal cliff and the increase of their taxes in 2012 thanks to Obamacare. However, this does not stop Barack Obama and his family from living La Vita Loca. Although Obama pays for the lodging, the American tax payers pick up the security costs where last year the trip cost more than $1 million.

While most Americans are lucky to get a few weeks of holiday every year, it seems the country’s leader gets a little more freedom in the matter.

President Barack Obama has announced his Christmas vacation to Hawaii – for a staggering 17-day trip.

Obama, who visited the island just two weeks ago for an economic summit, will head to Honolulu on Saturday December 17 until Monday January 2.

Amazing how the only thing that has stopped Barack Obama from vacationing and golfing was reelection. Not the economy, not record number of Americans om food stamps, not record number of American on disability, not  continued poor jib growth, not the specter of a fiscal cliff, not out of control federal spending, not the lack of a budget, not a Middle East on the brink and not the assassination of a US Ambassador and death of three other Americans in Benghazi, Libya.

UPDATE I: $4 million vacation courtesy of the Hawaii and federal taxpayers.

Residents living near the beachfront homes where President Barack Obama and First Family vacation with their friends every year since 2008 were alerted on Monday to some specifics of the Obamas’ holiday vacation plans.

The report delivered to residents living along the ocean and canal that surrounds the multi-million dollar homes at Kailuana Place where the President stays, informed them of restrictions that will be implemented for 20 days beginning December 17 and running through January 6.

With the staff, special forces, local police presence and equipment, the President’s visit adds up annually to at least a $4 million vacation courtesy of the Hawaii and federal taxpayers.

While the President and his friends pay for their own rental homes, taxpayers pick up the cost of security and waterfront housing for the Secret Service, Navy Seals and Coast Guard as well as staff accommodations at a plush beachfront Waikiki hotel.

The Economy is #1 Issue in 2012 Presidential Election and Obama Does not Even Meet with his Own Jobs Council

The economy/jobs is the number one issue with Americans in the 2012 Presidential election. Obama has stated in multiple State of the Union speeches and on the campaign trail that jobs is his primary focus. Really?

Who really thinks that jobs have been a priority for Obama? When asked in an interview by the Des Moines Register, Obama stated that he had no regrets over prioritizing Obamacare over jobs. So then it should come as no surprise that Barack Obama didn’t even join in on “Job Council” monthly calls.

Remember back in July when the administration told reporters Barack Obama was too busy to meet with his jobs council? How about Obama missing more than half of his daily briefing meetings as well.

The absentee president cant be bothered with doing the job of president, he has been too busy for four years campaigning instead.

Polls Indicate Mitt Romney Beatings Obama Among Veterans In Key Battleground States as Military Vets Retreat Away from the President

US Military veterans are abandoning Barack Hussein Obama, the Commander Campaigner in Chief  in droves. It would appear that military veterans want a new Commander in Chief, not a Campaigner in Chief, not a Golfer in Chief, not a Divider in Chief, not a Vacationer in Chief and certainly not Eye Candy in Chief.

President Barack Obama is trying hard to win veterans, but it looks like they’d prefer a new commander in chief.

The Obama campaign had been hoping that veterans and their families — especially among the post-Sept. 11 generation that served in Iraq and Afghanistan — would be part of their path to victory: They’re a high turn-out demographic and concentrated in battleground states, with nearly 1 million each in North Carolina, Ohio and Virginia, and 1.6 million in Florida.

But recent polls make clear that the president’s campaign is losing the battle. Even as Obama leads in Colorado, Florida, Ohio and Virginia, Mitt Romney is up by double digits among veterans in those states. Nationwide, he’s got a commanding 20-percentage-point lead over Obama and has even overtaken the president with younger veterans.

Instead, even as Obama has been gaining in the overall polls, several NBC/Wall Street Journal/Marist polls conducted from Sept. 9-11 had Romney well ahead of Obama among veterans in Florida, Ohio and Virginia. And in Colorado, a poll released Sept. 16 by SurveyUSA and the Denver Post found both veterans and military families supporting Romney over Obama 53 percent to 39 percent in a survey that included third-party candidates.

Back in May, Obama had the lead among Afghanistan and Iraq veterans. But a Reuters/Ipsos poll from September says that’s evaporated, with Romney now up 48 percent to 34 percent.

Barack Hussein Obama is not a serious President. He is more concerned with being and campaigning for president than he is actually doing the job as the president. However, some are now reporting that Ambassador Stevens died of suffocation and the other three embassy workers of gun shot wounds.

The Americans were targeted in an attack in their car, trying to move to a safer venue away from the violent protests that erupted at the U.S. Consulate, Reuters reported. Stevens died of suffocation, while the three other personnel were killed by gunshot wounds, CBS News reports.

This was the first U.S. ambassador to be killed in the line of duty since 1979. Guess who was President then? My how the similarities of Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama are just uncanny. The U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other embassy staff were killed in a rocket attack on their car, a Libyan official said, as they were rushed from a consular building stormed by militants denouncing a U.S.-made film insulting the Prophet Mohammad.

Gunmen had attacked and burned the U.S. consulate in the eastern city of Benghazi, a center of last year’s uprising against Muammar Gaddafi, late on Tuesday evening, killing one U.S. consular official. The building was evacuated.

The Libyan official said the ambassador, Christopher Stevens, was being driven from the consulate building to a safer location when gunmen opened fire.

“The American ambassador and three staff members were killed when gunmen fired rockets at them,” the official in Benghazi told Reuters.

Mitch McConnell said what most Americans have thought during the Obama presidency. McConnell stated, “For four years, Barack Obama has been running from the nation’s problems. President Barack Obama told an audience yesterday that he spends every waking hour fighting for them. He would think about them and fight for you. Seriously, every waking moment Mr. President? First of all this is a lie; second, no one cares if you are thinking about them, people want results.

A lot good his so-called spending every day fighting for America has done, yesterday’s new jobless claims jumped sharplylast week to 386,000, an increase of 34,000 in initial jobless claims from the previous week.

Barack Obama was so consumed thinking about Americans every waking moment and the terrible jobs situation and high unemployment that when his White House Press Secretary was asked why he and his Jobs Council had not met is six months, the response was, “he had too much on his plate”. Actually, the real answer is that Obama had attended 89-100 fundraisers where people paid $40,000 a plate.

Every moment thinking of you …

Or maybe Obama was contemplating the plight of the American people during his 101 rounds of golf? Or how about those multitude of vacations, he was obviously very concerned and thinking of those Americans not able to take vacations.

Obama Says Jobs Priority One, That’s Why He Hasn’t Met With Them Publicly in Six Months, But Has Time for Fund Raisers, Vaction and Golf … Romney Says, Obama’s “priority is keeping his own jobs and that is why he is going to lose it.”

Obama’s Jobs Council AWOL … and you wonder why there are being no jobs created? How can anyone justify this while the President conducted 89 fundraisers in the last six months. Obama is obviously concerned more about his own job than helping create those for America.

President Barack Obama has repeatedly said that jobs were his top priority. Really? The jobs numbers hardly show that. But it gets worse, Obama’s Jobs Council has not met publicly for six months. SIX MONTHS!!! Its bad enough there are members on this panel who are CEO’s who outsource jobs, something that Obama has criticized his opponent Mitt Romney for doing while at Bain Capital. All this while millions of Americans are out of work, unemployed and underemployed, Obama’s Jobs Council is MIA.

Mitt Romney responded to this news of Obama’s Jobs Council in Bowling Green, Ohio in the video (4:00 mark) below and stated you would think that with a situation so bad in the United States when it comes to comes that the President would spend all of his time on helping people get jobs. Instead in the last six months Obama has held 100 fund raisers and had ZERO meetings with his Jobs Council. Romney went on to say to cheers,  his [Obama's] priority is not creating jobs for you, his priority is keeping his own jobs and that is why he is going to lose it.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney was questioned by the press as to why Obama’s Jobs Council had not met publicly in six months. After twisting and trying to find an answer to an inexcusable situation, Carney said that the reason why they have not met was because Obama had a lot on his plate. Yup, he was just too busy. That is why is the last six months Barack Oabma has been able to hold 89 fund raisers, go on vacation and play multiple rounds of golf.  Yup, Obama has a full plate, too full a plate than to make JOBS his priority. At least he has a plat, unlike millions of Americans without a job and without a home.
