The socialist in chief … Well Barack Obama promised if elected he would transform America, he never said whether that transformation was good for America. The Washington Examiner reports that during an interview with Yahoo.com, Obama referred to Raul Castro, the co-dictator of Cuba, as a pragmatist, not “an ideologue.” UNREAL. But what else would you expect to come from the lips of an ideologue. Obama promised in an exclusive interview with Yahoo News that he “very much” hopes to visit Cuba during his last year in office, but only if he can meet with pro-Democracy dissidents there.Oh sure Barack, I am sure the Castro boys will let the pro-Democracy dissidents out of jail for your visit and then throw them back in when you leave. GOOD GRIEF. The Cuban government ha made no concessions, yet that did not stop Obama from making diplomatic relations with a communist, oppressive regime. Who needs human rights, and I thought liberals cared about the people.

President Obama is hopefully planning a visit to Cuba and sees longtime co-dictator Raul Castro, who has taken over for ailing brother Fidel, as a pragmatist, not “an ideologue.”

In a newly released Yahoo interview, Obama said, “I am very much interested in going to Cuba, but I think the conditions have to be right.”

The president told correspondent Olivier Knox, “My hope is that sometime next year we look at the conditions there and we say, you know what? Now would be a good time to shine a light on progress that’s been made, but also maybe to nudge the Cuban government in a new direction.”

Okay, even the Libs and tree huggers can’t believe that this was a “working dinner” or productive to climate change. But once again, Barack “Let them eat cake” Obama wines and dines with the world elite as he pretends to care about “We the People”. Yet just another excuse to lecture people about how they should conduct their lives and limit their opportunities as Obama creates the carbon footprint that even none of ever could in our lifetime. If you actually believe in carbon footprints that is. Because only the little people are supposed to sacrifice, not the Obamamessiah.

As working dinners go, President Obama’s meal Monday night in Paris with French President Francois Hollande, Secretary of State John Kerry and others wasn’t too shabby.

No cartons of takeout — instead, the gang fueled up after a long day of climate talks at L’Ambroisie, the three-Michelin-starred temple of gastronomie in the Marais neighborhood.

Per the Michelin Guide, the ornately be-chandelier-ed dining room is known for “incomparable classicism and an immortal feast for the senses.”

Perhaps worried that Obama would create an international faux pas by ordering a burger or a margarita (two of  his faves), a reporter asked what he planned to eat. Obama was, appropriately, diplomatic: “I will get recommendations from the president,” he answered, nodding in Hollande’s direction.

According to the AP, Obama cracked a joke about the opulence of the setting. “Don’t break the chandelier,” he warned as a reporter’s microphone got just a little too close to the crystal. “You can’t afford it.”

Seriously folks, who could even take any of this serious when all it looks like is an excuse for a party?

Bill O’Reilly blasted President Barack Obama for his weak foreign policy and the dire consequences it has created in the Middle East, Europe the Far East and across the world. O’Reilly called it a perfect storm of weakness. What happened to Obama’s promise to downgrade terrorism as he seems to make climate change a more important topic than terrorism? Obama’s lack of leadership, the most reluctant leader this country has ever seen, has been the focal point of why evil has been on the rise. Bill O’Reilly stated, “by withholding American power abroad, the president is plunging the world into a very dark place. When order collapses, so does civilized society.”

Bill O’Reilly ended his rant by saying, “God help the next president of the United States.” I would go one further and say, God help the citizens of the United States.

However, there was a slight problem that added a bit of irony and a interesting bit of hypocrisy … Obama’s trip on Air Force One to the Florida Everglades to promote environmentalism used 9000 gallons of jet fuel. Nice carbon footprint Barack. As reported at the Washington Free Beacon, Barack Obama’s Earth Day trip to Southern Florida will emit roughly five times as much carbon dioxide as the average American does in a full year. But of course, conservation and doing without is only for the common folk, not Barack Obama. How typical of the LEFT to tell others what they should be doing and then doing just the opposite themselves.

The President believes that there are important changes that we can make to reduce carbon pollution in this country, and we can do it in a way that will be good for our economy. MR. KNOLLER: Does he try to minimize the carbon footprint that he leaves whenever he goes anywhere?
MR. EARNEST: Well, obviously, the Department of Defense and the Presidential Airlift Group at the United States Air Force is responsible for the President’s transportation. So you can talk to them about any steps that they may have taken. I can say as a general matter that the Department of Defense has acknowledged that climate change does pose a national security threat to the United States. And there are a lot of practices that the Department of Defense has taken to try to reduce their carbon footprint. I don’t know how that intersects with the use of Air Force One, but you could check with the Air Force on that.

With swampy wetlands and alligators as his backdrop, President Barack Obama will use a visit to Florida’s Everglades to warn of the damage that climate change is already inflicting on the nation’s environmental treasures — and to hammer political opponents he says are doing far too little about it.

Obama’s trip to the Everglades on Wednesday, timed to coincide with Earth Day, marks an attempt to connect the dots between theoretical arguments about carbon emissions and real-life implications. With his climate change agenda under attack in Washington and courthouses across the U.S., Obama has sought this week to force Americans to envision a world in which cherished natural wonders fall victim to pollution.

According to CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller, Obama’s Earth Day trip to the Everglades will cover 1,836 miles roundtrip and consume 9,180 gallons of fuel on Air Force One.

Obama Earth Day Trip to Emit 5 Times as Much CO2 as the Average American Does Annually.

If one actually believes this dribble of global emissions of carbon dioxide cause global warming, how does one explain their actions of causing more harm than good?

According to data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration, burning that much jet fuel will produce more than 88,000 kilograms of carbon dioxide. That is about five times as much as the 17,600 kg that the average American emits annually, according to United Nations data.

Jet fuel “produces, in addition to carbon dioxide, NOx, sulphates, and particulate matter, all of which amplify the impact of aviation on global warming,” according to the Flying Clean Alliance, a group that advocates restrictions on aviation-related greenhouse gas emissions.

Now let’s figure out the amount of jet fuel used, the amount of carbon emissions spewed into the atmosphere and the number of people that actually attended Obama’s Earth Day speech. WHERE ARE ALL THE PEOPLE? Seriously, where are any of the people? How does anyone justify this trip to speak in front of 25 people? There may have been more alligators in attendance.

Documents Recovered from Osama bin Laden’s Compound in Recovered in Pakistan Reveal Iran Is Assisting Al-Qaeda & Has Worked With Terrorist Group For Years

And you wonder why Barack Obama is so pissed that Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is speaking to Congress regarding Iran.

Steve Hayes of The Weekly Standard has delivered a bombshell … Obama Admin Ignored Proof of Iran-Al Qaeda Link After UBL Raid. The Obama White House has been sitting on these documents for years as they now look to make a nuclear deal with Iran. Are you kidding me. Hayes argued that the Obama administration does not want this information to come out as it seeks a deal with Tehran on its nuclear program. You think? How on earth does any US President ignore such a terrorist tie and claim to be acting in the best interest of the United States? This is why Obama has been hell-bent on preventing Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak to Congress and the American people. More striking is Iran’s support for al Qaeda. Last week, for the first time in nearly three years, the public saw new information from the bin Laden raid. Documents released as part of a terror trial in New York City show, in the words of the al Qaeda leaders themselves, Iran’s availability for training and safe haven. One letter from a senior al Qaeda operative to bin Laden in June 2010 lays out the plans of a core al Qaeda leader to travel to Iran. The letter notes that “Sheikh Yunis” is ready to travel and “the destination, in principle, is Iran. And he has with him six to eight brothers that he chose. I told him we are waiting for final complete confirmation from you to move and agree on this destination (Iran). His plan is: stay around for three months in Iran to train the brothers there then start moving them and distributing them in the world for their missions and specialties.”

This comes on top of what we already know about Iran and al Qaeda. As Thomas Joscelyn reported here last week, at least three al Qaeda plots targeting Western interests were hatched in Iran since Obama took office. As the administration pined for Iran to rejoin the community of civilized nations, the Treasury was churning out reports showing Tehran had no such interest. In its designation of Yasin al-Suri, “a prominent Iran-based al Qaeda facilitator,” Treasury wrote in December 2011: “Operating under an agreement between al Qaeda and the Iranian Government, al-Suri moves money and al Qaeda recruits from the Middle East through Iran and on to Pakistan and Afghanistan.”

New unclassified documents recovered from from the Osama bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan during the 2011 US Navy Seal team raid that killed UBL as evidence in the trial of a terrorism suspect show secret ties between Al Qaeda and Iran. Yes, that very Iran that President Barack Hussein Obama has been bending over backwards for trying to making a nuclear deal with has he throws our greatest ally in the Middle East, Israel, under the bus. It is becoming quite obvious now why Barack Obama and his minions have been trashing Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of his speech in front of Congress this coming Thursday as a preemptive strike to discredit him. What is Obama afraid of, Netanyahu will speak the truth?

This week, prosecutors in New York introduced eight documents recovered in Osama bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan as evidence in the trial of a terrorism suspect. The U.S. government accuses Abid Naseer of taking part in al Qaeda’s scheme to attack targets in Europe and New York City. And prosecutors say the documents are essential for understanding the scope of al Qaeda’s plotting.

More than 1 million documents and files were captured by the Navy Seals who raided bin Laden’s safe house in Abbottabad, Pakistan in May 2011. One year later, in May 2012, the Obama administration released just 17 of them.

While there is some overlap between the files introduced as evidence in Brooklyn and those that were previously made public in 2012, much of what is in the trial exhibits had never been made public before.

The files do not support the view, promoted by some in the Obama administration, that bin Laden was in “comfortable retirement,” “sidelined,” or “a lion in winter” in the months leading up to his death. On the contrary, bin Laden is asked to give his order on a host of issues, ranging from the handling of money to the movement of terrorist operatives.

Some of the key revelations in the newly-released bin Laden files relate to al Qaeda’s dealings with Iran and presence in Afghanistan.

According to the report, the administration has only analyzed 10 percent of the more than one million documents they recovered.

On “America’s Newsroom,” Hayes argued that the Obama administration does not want this information to come out as it seeks a deal with Tehran on its nuclear program.

He said the president wants to “decouple” the negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program from the regime’s support for terrorist organizations.

Hayes said the initial “scrub” of the bin Laden documents by the CIA was very successful, producing 400 intelligence reports and leading to U.S. actions around the world against al Qaeda.

“Then it all stopped. The CIA basically sat on the documents. … I think it’s because the Obama administration didn’t want to know what was in them,” said Hayes, adding that the documents would have had “tremendous implications” for U.S. foreign policy overall.
