Not even dogs are exempt from Michelle Obama’s food police.  Fresh off the first lady’s telling us what our children need to eat now comes the following regarding Fido. She stated that “Dogs are no different” than people. “You want to make sure they are eating a balanced diet, and if they are not an active dog, make sure that their food is reflective of an inactive dog and then get them out there and throw that ball and get them running.” WOW, who knew? All this time I never knew that a dog needed a well balanced diet and exercise. Damn, I am sure glad that we have such a brilliant first lady to state the obvious. Next thing Michelle is going to say is dogs should not eat Chili dogs and fries or greasy food at The Varsity. However, maybe she should first start with her husband rather than Rover.

Who is completely tired of these people? Where do they get off thinking that we care what they say? Who is just sick and tired of the Obama’s telling us what to do with every facet of our lives and now our dogs lives as well? I guess its only a matter of time before we have pet Obamacare. How comical is it that Mooch is telling us about how to feed Fido? Weasel Zippers seems to have beat me to the punch as this one is just too easy … insert Obama eats dog joke here. The heck with what Fido is eating, we need to be more concerned that Obama is not eating Fido.

Meanwhile, Michelle Obama is off skiing with the girls out West on a separate vacation. As Americans continue to struggle, record numbers are on food stamps and disabilities, and individuals are still out of work … Obama sets the example and plays golf.

President Barack Obama hit the greens Sunday with famed golfer Tiger Woods, according to deputy White House press secretary Josh Earnest.

Obama is spending President’s Day weekend at a sprawling resort in Palm City, Florida, where he’s polishing his golf game. On Saturday, he worked on his swing with Woods’ former coach, Butch Harmon.

The White House did permit press coverage of the golf outing Sunday.

Along with Woods, Obama played with U.S Trade Representative Ron Kirk and Jim Crane, a Democratic donor who owns the resort and the Houston Astros. Obama played with Kirk and Crane on Saturday, as well.

That is, in nearly the four years, since President Obama took office in January 2009, only 827,000 people have been added to the labor force, while during that same time period, 8,208,000 have been added to those not in the labor force.

The chart relies on data available from the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics.

As the Lonely Conservative reminds us, this piece of important information must have been missed by Michelle Obama when touting Barack’s economy and jobs recovery. Imagine that, it would appear that Obama’s recovery is not as “huge” as Michelle thinks.

Last night first lady Michelle Obama gave her speech at the DNC in Charlotte, NC talking about the man that she wanted to be given another 4 years in office. However, during her speech I really did not know who she was talking about. Her glowing comments and praises of an individual hardly compare to the individual who has been President for the past four years. Michelle Obama made it sound like Barack Obama does not have 4 years to be judged on, whether it be political or personal.
