SNL Mocks Obama and his Sequester Armegeddon Exaggerations … Obama Admits, “I Really Have No Idea How Money Works” (VIDEO)

Every once in a while when SNL decides to take Barack Obama to task and mock him for his actions, they hit it out of the park …

This weekend was just one of those times when during one of their skits they skewered Obama for his exaggerations of Armageddon and the apocalypse following the sequestration taking effect. Over the weekend, Saturday Night Live’sPresident Barack Obama tried to put a human face on the effects of sequestration — a difficult task, he admitted to the nation, because “I really have no idea how money works or budgets work.” As we always say, what makes humor more humorous is when there as truth added. I think many can admit that Barack Obama has no idea how money works or budgets either. With out of control spending, no budget and no clue, SNL nailed it. However, the only thing that SNL failed to mention is that the sequester was Obama’s idea.  So for all his whining, belly aching and blaming of others, Obama needs to look no further than into the mirror to place blame and America is beginning to realize it. Maybe that’s why suddenly Obama and his minions have back-tracked at their claims of the end of times due to sequestration.

Bringing up a parade of federal workers to explain the toll the forced budget cuts will take on their jobs, one Border Patrol agent said they’ll now have to let every 10th Mexican across the border, while an astronaut said their helmets will no longer have glass in the front and they’ll have to hold their breaths when they do spacewalks.

It wasn’t all bad news, though: One schoolteacher was actually delighted she lost her job and doesn’t have to teach “Beowulf” to nightmare teenagers anymore.

Yesterday on NBC’s ‘Meet the Press,’ White House economic adviser Gene Sperling admitted that, yes, in fact, the sequestration was President Obama’s plan, even though Obama lied about it during the 2012 Presidential debates and more recently. Obama claimed that the sequester was not his idea and something he did not propose. Mr. President, YOU LIE!

What is interesting is that the liberal MSM actually did pursue this story. Although it happens of rarely as Halley’s Comet, David Gregory did make Gene Sperling twist in the wind until he finally admitted that the sequestration was Barack Obama’s idea. Weasel Zippers asks, could there be some hope for the MSM to actually hold this administration accountable? Probably not, but anything is better than the nothing that we have observed for the past 4+ years. Which begs the question, what shape would the country be in and would have Obama ever been reelected, let alone elected if the MSM had done their job and held Obama’s feet to the fire?

GENE SPERLING: I meant that, while the first issue of whose idea it was, the sequester, was one I disagreed with him on but I could see how honorable people could disagree. I was trying to explain to him, from a substantive point of view, that the idea that the president of the United States was moving the goalpost by asking for the type of balance of tax reform that raised revenues, that the Speaker Boehner himself, as you noted, had called for, as well as long-term entitlements, together, to get rid of the sequester, was not only not moving the goalpost: That was the whole idea of the sequester. And I think that e-mail was cordial. It was substantive. It was polite.

DAVID GREGORY: But you say, “You’re going to regret it.” I mean, does the president think that’s a good idea to say to reporters, to challenge them that, “You’re going to regret staking out that claim”?

After all these months, we finally learn that President Barack Obama was no where to be found the night that the Consulate was attacked in Benghazi, Libya and four Americans were killed. Is it any wonder why Obama and his complicit MSM did not want to make this an issue prior to the 2012 Presidential elections. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta testified on Capitol Hill that President Barack Obama was absent the night four Americans were murdered, including US Ambassador Stevens, in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. They were left on their own.

Panetta said, though he did meet with Obama at a 5 o’clock prescheduled gathering, the president left operational details, including knowledge of what resources were available to help the Americans under siege, “up to us.”

In fact, Panetta says that the night of 9/11, he did not communicate with a single person at the White House. The attack resulted in the deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Obama did not call or communicate in anyway with the defense secretary that night. There were no calls about what was going on in Benghazi. He never called to check-in.

The 5 o’clock meeting was a pre-scheduled 30-minute session, where, according to Panetta’s recollection, they spent about 20 minutes talking a lot about the American embassy that was surrounded in Egypt and the situation that was just unfolding in Benghazi.

Obama was absent as Americans were under assault in a massacre, yet he found time to make a phone call to save his political bacon to defuse a controversy about President Obama’s refusal to meet with Netanyahu two weeks later.

But Obama did have time to make a political call to the Israeli prime minister. “[W]e do know one thing the president found time to do that evening: He placed a call to Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in order to defuse a controversy about President Obama’s refusal to meet with Netanyahu two weeks later at the U.N. General Assembly, and, according to the White House announcement that evening, spent an hour on the phone with him,” Kristol wrote.

More from Rush Limbaugh. Barack Obama could hardly seem to be bothered with the massacre that was taking place. How aloof could one possibly be? A US Ambassador is under attack and missing and Obama could really care less. How would the MSM treat this story if a Republican had been president when a US Ambassador was murdered? Does anyone think that maybe they would have covered the story and asked the administration why they are trying to cover up what happened?

How’s This “Hope & Change”: 7 Million Americans Will Lose Insurance under Obamacare … What Happened to you can Keep your Heathcare Coverage?

THE LION LYING KING: So much for the promises of President Barack Hussein Obama and that you can keep your insurance and doctors with the advent of Obamacare. NOT IF YOU CAN’T KEEP YOUR JOB OR THEY PAY THE PENALTY INSTEAD.

As it turns out, former Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was 100% correct, they did need to pass Obamacare in order to find out what’s in it. According to the CBO, because of Obamacare 7 million American workers will be pushed out of their job based insurance coverage. Instead businesses are going to opt to pay the penalty to the government rather than providing insurance coverage for their workers. The 7 million affected is nearly twice as many that was initially estimated by the CBO. Really? Who did not think that a business would rather pay a penalty that was less than the actual amount it cost to cover an employee? This was the entire reason why the Obamacare penalty was made so low, to entire businesses to drop insurance coverage and push their employee’s on the government insurance dole. This is the first step to universal, government controlled health care.

President Obama’s health care law will push 7 million people out of their job-based insurance coverage — nearly twice the previous estimate, according to the latest estimates from the Congressional Budget Office released Tuesday.

CBO said that this year’s tax cuts have changed the incentives for businesses and made it less attractive to pay for insurance, meaning fewer will decide to do so. Instead, they’ll choose to pay a penalty to the government, totaling $13 billion in higher fees over the next decade.

But the non-partisan agency also expects fewer people to have to pay individual penalties to the IRS than it earlier projects, because of a better method for calculating incomes that found more people will be exempt.

 THE OBAMA LIE … So what happened to Barack Obama’s promise to the American people? Obama told the American people and was reelected based on the following promise lie. He stated that no matter how we reform health care we will keep the following promise to the American people. “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, period! Every promise that Obama made that his Obamacare was going to do has done just the opposite and they knew it all along. It did not lower the cost of insurance coverage, it increased it. It did not make doctors and hospitals became less administrators and accountants, it made them more. It did not create 100′s of thousands of more jobs, it caused businesses to lay off workers also HERE, HERE and HERE. It did not increase employee  take home pay either. What Happened to that Free and Discounted Premium Obama Health Care … IRS Says Cheapest Obamacare Plan Will Be $20,000 Per Family

THE LION LYING KING: HEALTHCARE COST EDITION: In a further effort to prove that a sucker is born every minute and most of the them voted for Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential election, we are now presented with even more details of the Obamacare healthcare law that Nancy Pelosi stated that we had to pass it in order to find out what’s in it. Barack Obama sold this bill of goods to the American public saying that it would reduce insurance premiums, and in some cases up to 3000%. Yes, as the Gateway Pundit reminds us, Barack Obama actually said that you would get a 3000% discount on your insurance premiums from your employers and a raise. The said reality was that the ignorant and uninformed voters actually bought Obama’s BS.

However, the reality is that the IRS is saying that the cheapest Obamacare plan will cost a family $20,000 a year. How’s that “Hopey-Changey” Obamacare working out for ya now? Why is the IRS making these comments? They will be the enforcement agency of Obamacare and come after those who do not have insurance.  Under the law, the penalty for not buying health insurance is supposed to be capped at either the annual average Bronze premium, 2.5 percent of taxable income, or $2,085.00 per family in 2016. Huh, the IRS is calling it a penalty. Wasn’t it the US Supreme Court that called it a tax?

 In a final regulation issued Wednesday, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) assumed that under Obamacare the cheapest health insurance plan available in 2016 for a family will cost $20,000 for the year.

Under Obamacare, Americans will be required to buy health insurance or pay a penalty to the IRS.

The IRS’s assumption that the cheapest plan for a family will cost $20,000 per year is found in examples the IRS gives to help people understand how to calculate the penalty they will need to pay the government if they do not buy a mandated health plan.

The examples point to families of four and families of five, both of which the IRS expects in its assumptions to pay a minimum of $20,000 per year for a bronze plan.

“The annual national average bronze plan premium for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) is $20,000,” the regulation says.
