Healthcare on a Prayer … Barack Obama Now Enlisting Celebrities like Oprah, Bon Jovi, Amy Poehler and Jennifer Hudson to Endorce Obamacare

REALLY, OBAMA IS STILL TRYING TO SELL OBAMACARE AS A GOOD THING?

Good grief, a desperate Barack Obama now enlists celebrities to pitch the nightmare called Obamacare. The NFL have previously sacked Obama and HHS Secretary Sebelius telling them to take a hike when it came to pitching the boondoggle Obamacare by its athletes. Democrat politicians, Obama and his minions have failed miserably to get the public to view the health car plan favorably. Over time, Obama’s signature piece of legislation has become more and more unpopular as ‘We the People” come to understand what is in the plan. Barack Obama refuses to understand the obvious. All the marketing in the world is not going to change the fact that Obamacare is an unpopular, job killing, insurance premium raising, unmitigated nightmare. But that does not stop this president from thinking that if a celeb like Bon Jovi shills Obamacare, that will change people’s minds. Talk about healthcare on a prayer.

Whooah, we’re half way there
Livin’ on a prayer
Take my hand and we’ll make it – I swear, Whooah
‘Obamacare’  on a prayer

President Barack Obama, hoping to pitch his signature health care law to younger Americans, will get some help from a cadre of Hollywood stars who have volunteered to help promote Obamacare’s insurance exchanges that open on October 1.

At a meeting at the White House Monday, a group that included singer Jennifer Hudson and actors Kal Penn and Amy Poehler heard Obama extol the benefits his health care law offers young people, whose participation in the exchanges is seen as essential for their long-term viability.

“The President stopped by the meeting to engage artists who expressed an interest in helping to educate the public about the benefits of the health law,” a White House official said. “The reach of these national stars spreads beyond the beltway to fans of their television shows, movies, and music – and the power of these artists to speak through social media is especially critical.”

Obamacare can only exists if millions of healthy young people get insurance and basically pay for the health care of the more sick and elderly. So Obama’s plan is to con this demographic into thinking that Obamacare is cool and will market to them by using celebs. I do not know which is worse. the plan or that the youth would be so foolish to fall for such a ruse. More on the the full court marketing blitz on the youth from Hot Air. Might we remind everyone, these are the very people who bought Obama’s message hook, line and sinker and now find themselves unemployed and living in their parents basement.

Yes, by all means, super-cool TV stars and musicians, tell the many young people still living at home on their parents’ couches, and/or struggling to begin their careers or to find more than merely part time work, why they should pay thousands more dollars for a health care plan they neither want nor need. Sounds awesome.

It is absolutely not a secret that ObamaCare needs millions of young, healthy people with relatively few and inexpensive health care needs to pay for the program’s ballooning costs and subsidize others’ insurance, and it sounds like the administration is looking to get their groove back with some help from his famous pop-culture allies. Goody.

Wegmans Ends Health Care Benefits for Part-Time Workers Thanks to Obamacare

Wegmans, the Rochester, NY based grocer that has previously  providing health insurance to its part-time workers will no longer offer that benefit, thanks to Obamacare.  Under the Affordable Care Act, part-time employees are not eligible for health insurance subsidies if their employer offers insurance. Wegmans employs roughly 1,433 full-time employees and 4,304 part-time employees in the Buffalo Niagara region. America was warned that this would happen and no one wanted to listen. Instead they wanted to call those folks alarmists. From the outset Obamacare has been a misrepresentation of the plan and now Americans are learning it the hard way.

The Rochester-based grocer that has been continually lauded for providing health insurance to its part-time workers will no longer offer that benefit.

Until recently, the company voluntarily offered health insurance to employees who worked 20 hours per week or more. Companies are required by law to offer health insurance only to full-time employees who work 30 hours or more per week.

Several Wegmans employees confirmed part-time health benefits had been cut and said the company said the decision was related to changes brought about by the Affordable Care Act.

However, part-time employees may actually benefit from Wegmans’ decision, according to Brian Murphy, a partner at Lawley Benefits Group, an insurance brokerage firm in Buffalo.

Michelle Malkin reminds us … Remember when President Barack Obama said to the American people when trying to sell Oabamcare as a good thing and stated, one of the three tenants of Obamacare was that if you like your present insurance you can keep it? Guess what America, HE LIED!!! He stated that if you like your current insurance, you can keep your current insurance. LIES. LIES, AND MORE LIES.  This was all part of the ultimate goal of destroying the insrance industry and creating a single payer system.

The Daily Caller calls Obamacare for what it is. Obamacare is a disaster and and it is owned by Barack Hussein Obama.

No, call it what it is: Obamacare.

They don’t want to call it that, as disaster looms, but that’s what it is. It’s called Obamacare. He owns this. It’s not Wegmans’ fault, or the fault of any of the other businesses that are going to suffer. This is all on Obama. And the worse it gets, the more the press will try to cover for him.

Isn’t This Politically Convenient … Obama Administrations Delays the Obamacare Employer Mandate Until After 2014 Midterm Elections

For all those who still think that Obamacare is about healthcare, think again … Barack Obama and Democrats playing politics with Obamacare.

Even Barack Obama knows that Obamacare is a train wreck.  The Hill is reporting that the Obama Administration announced that they will delay the implementation of the employer mandate of Obamacare and will not  penalize businesses next year if they fail to provide workers with health insurance. Conveniently enough, guess what occurs next year … the 2014 midterm elections.  That is correct, the Obama administration is going to delay the part of Obamacare that deals with the confusing and job killing part of Barack Obama’s signature piece of legislation until 2015 after the 2014 mid term elections. But of course they are doing it for you America, not the fact that this would cause employers to lay off and cut employees hours. Obviously Democrats do not want that as an anchor around their necks heading into the midterm elections.

Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) released the following statement in the wake of the new, “This further confirms that even the proponents of ObamaCare know it will hurt jobs, decrease economic growth and make it harder for families to have access to quality and affordable health care.” Cantor is correct, it all but confirms that the Obama realizes that Obamacare is a job killing disaster what would destroy Democrats in the upcoming elections. However, there is nothing to change what is going to happen, Obama is just looking to kick the job killing down the road until after the midterms. WAKE UP AMERICA … DO NOT FALL FOR THIS AGAIN!!!

The ObamaCare employer mandate requiring businesses to provide their workers with health insurance will be delayed by a year, the administration said Tuesday in a stunning announcement.

Delaying the requirement until 2015 is an enormous victory for businesses that had lobbied against the healthcare law.

It also means that one of healthcare reform’s central requirements will be implemented after the 2014 midterm elections, when the GOP is likely to use the Affordable Care Act as a vehicle to attack vulnerable Democrats.

In a White House blog post, senior adviser Valerie Jarrett wrote that the administration believed it needed to give employers “more time to comply with the new rules.”

The Republican Study Committee released this statement following the employer mandate news:

Republican Study Committee Chairman Steve Scalise today released the following statement after the Obama administration announced it would delay the implementation of the employer mandate, a key provision of the president’s healthcare law.

“While the President publicly criticizes House Republicans for fighting to repeal Obamacare, he has been privately trying to waive portions of the law for select groups,” Scalise said. “We have been pointing out for years that Obamacare will be a disaster for hard-working families, and today President Obama finally agreed that this law is not ready for prime time by delaying the employer mandate. The president’s decision today is further proof that we need to fully repeal this failed law. We stand ready to work on a bipartisan solution to lower health care costs and fix the real problems without the unworkable mandates and taxes in the President’s health care law.”

Obamacare remains very unpopular with We the People.

What a joke, so businesses get a one year pass on paying the penalty for insuring individuals, but individuals are still forced to have insurance or face the consequences from the Gestapo IRS.

President Obama pledged $7 billion in aid to Africa and Then Warned Africans to be Wary of Exploitation by Other Countries, Including the United States

What the hell is wrong with this president, Why does he hate the United States so much?

During President Barack Obama $100 million trip to Africa, Barack Obama pledged $7 billion in aid Sunday to provide electricity to sub-Saharan Africa. Then Obama warned Africans to be wary of exploitation by other countries, including the United States. Of course he did. Obama is the president of the United States, right? His job is to do things in the best interest of the United States, right? Just checking. Take a good look at all of the exploitation of the continent of Africa over the years,

The United States will extend a hand of friendship but don’t trust us

President Obama pledged $7 billion in aid Sunday to provide electricity to sub-Saharan Africa, as he warned Africans to be wary of exploitation by other countries, including the United States.

“I’m calling for America to up our game when it comes to Africa,” Mr. Obama said in a speech at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, midway through his week long tour of the continent. “We want to unleash the power of entrepreneurship and markets to create opportunity here in Africa.”

Funds from the electricity initiative, dubbed Power Africa, will be distributed over the next five years to six countries — Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria and Tanzania. Mr. Obama said the U.S. wants to help Africa without interfering, as colonial powers did in the past.

“You will always find the extended hand of a friend in the United States of America,” he said.

But on his three-nation tour, the president also has been warning Africans not to automatically trust foreign powers offering help, including the U.S.

Maybe Barack Obama should have warned Americans to be wary of the Obama administration and don’t trust them? And what even might be even more comical is that Obama was giving Africa advice on jobs. REALLY? This president has some set. You mean when Obama gave away tax payer $’s to “green” energy boondoggles he cared whether the jobs would be in the United States and would benefit America? You mean like the jobs that went to China?

“When we look at what other countries are doing in Africa, I think our only advice is make sure it’s a good deal for Africa,” Mr. Obama told reporters in Johannesburg. “If somebody says they want to come build something here, are they hiring African workers? If somebody says that they want to help you develop your natural resources, how much of the money is staying in Africa? … Don’t just assume that folks come here and they’re automatically benefiting Africans. And that includes the United States. Ask questions in terms of what we do.”

NFL Sacks Obamacare … NFL Says It Has No Plans to Help Promote the Unpopular and Lie Called Obamacare

The NFL has sacked Obamacare …

As reported at the Washington Examiner, the NFL says no to President Barack Obama, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Obamacare. The NFL has opted to do the right thing and “Just Say No” to promoting Obamacare. Earlier, the NFL and other sports organizations were being pressured by HHS Secretary Sebelius to act as a propaganda wing of the White House and promote Obama’s healthcare law. A law that is so unpopular with the American people that only 37% of Americans according to recent polls actually support it. However, the marketing savvy NFL decided to want no part of being put in the middle of an unpopular health care law that would alienate a majority of its fans. Compare Obama’s popularity to that of the NFL that is at an all-time high.  What many, especially government and Obama do not understand is that sports is the ultimate environment that brings people together of all backgrounds. When a sports fan is at a stadium, bar or party no one cares about ethnicity, religion or political affiliation. It is a group of people with the common goal of a love of the sport and their favorite team. Why would anyone in their right might who runs a sports league or a team want to destroy that which makes sports great? Who would want a divided fan base that would boycott your product or worse, turn their allegiance elsewhere to another sport? But for Obama, the Divider in Chief, the community agitator, he knows nothing else but to divide people against one another to get his way.

Obamacare sacked by the NFL … go elsewhere for your propaganda

UPDATE: NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy emails:

We have responded to the letters we received from members of Congress to inform them we currently have no plans to engage in this area and have had no substantive contact with the administration about PPACA’s implementation.

(Read the letter that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and Senate Minority Whip John Cornyn, R-Texas, sent the NFL in the embedded viewer below this story.)

Under pressure to promote President Obama’s health care law, the administration is in talks with the National Football League to form a marketing partnership during the upcoming season. The Department of Health and Human Services has reached out to the NFL – along with the National Basketball Association and Major League Baseball – in hopes of reaching a key demographic of younger Americans. It would be a big mistake for any sports league to inject itself into the contentious political battle over Obamacare, but I’d like to just focus on the NFL for now.

According to polls, Obamacare is extremely unpopular and getting worse as Americans continue to learn what was shoved down their throats by partisan Democrat vote. A recent poll by the Kaiser Family Foundation, 43% of Americans have an unfavorable view of Obamacare compared with just 35% who have a favorable view. Those poll numbers are probably even more amplified by those who are fans of the NFL.

As Weasel Zippers states, the 12 liberals who watch football are inconsolable, HA!

However, the main issue here is that PR is not the answer to Obamacare. President Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the Democrats who passed this law against the will of the American people have had more than enough time to present this boondoggle to the American public. The problem is, it is a terrible law that was a lie. Obamacare does not lower costs, its raises premiums. Obamacare does not cover all people without insurance. Obamacare does not let you keep your doctor either. Thus, in the end, Obamacare is and always has been a lie. As The Weekly Standard opines, all the lipsticking of this pig” is not going to change the fact that Obamacare is bad for Americans and bad for America.

Hmm, so is the NFL now considered racist because they would not support Obama’s agenda?
