Trump Rally Postponed in Chicago Due to Large Crowds of Protesters and Security Concerns … 5 Arrested

HMM, HOW INTERESTING THAT THIS RALLY WAS CANCELED IN OBAMA’S HOME TOWN OF CHICAGO …

Donald Trump’s rally in Chicago yesterday was cancelled due to protests and risks of violence. So why did this occur in Chicago? The escalation of violence that occurred later that night during the protests were appalling. Honestly I can’t believe Trump allowed himself to get shut down by the protesters and let them win. It is a sad day in America that free speech gets shut down by others who do not wants anther’s free speech to get out. Then again, it did happen in Obama’s Chicago.

ABC NEWS:

Donald Trump was set to rejoin the campaign trail Saturday only hours after calling off a rally in Chicago as clashes broke out between some of the thousands of supporters and protesters in attendance.

Interim Chicago Police Superintendent John Escalante said five arrests were made and two police officers were injured at the University of Illinois at Chicago Pavilion on Friday night where the Republican presidential frontrunner was scheduled to hold his rally. When an announcement was made saying the rally was postponed, pushing and shoving broke out as it took about 30 minutes for police to clear the building.

In separate interviews on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News, Trump said he feared for the safety of the thousands in attendance.

“I just felt for the benefit of safety, I don’t want to see people hurt,” he told MSNBC shortly after his rally was postponed.

Donald Trump Cancels Chicago Rally on Friday, Amid Massive Protests, Security Concerns (VIDEO)

ITS DISGRACEFUL THAT SOME IN THIS COUNTRY HATE THE 1ST AMENDMENT …

Donald Trump rally in Chicago on Friday drew massive amounts of people and large amounts of protesters that looked to cause trouble. In the end the Trump rally was cancelled due to security concerns.

The Donald Trump rally at the UIC Pavilion was abruptly “postponed” Friday evening, amid security concerns, as protesters massed outside the University of Illinois-Chicago campus venue and even infiltrated the campaign event

The announcement came around 6:30 p.m., after thousands of Trump supporters filed into the hall at Racine and Harrison, in anticipation of a speech by the controversial Republican presidential candidate. Protesters had marched across the University of Illinois-Chicago campus toward the site of the campaign rally.

Trump said his campaign made the decision after meeting with law enforcement officials. Chicago police said they did not meet with the Trump campaign. “Nor did we make any suggestion the event be cancelled.”

Trump Campaign Rally Cancelled in Chicago due to protests and security concerns

Donald Trump later went on CNN to discuss why he canceled the even and what might have been the causes for the protests and clashes. In all due respect to Trump’s comments, the protests were the result of people who think only they have a right to freedom of speech and not others. It has become shameful just how militant the mobs have become who refuse to let others have their free speech.

Donald Trump Discusses with CNN the cancellation of his campaign rally in Chicago

UPDATE I: Trump supporters, protesters clash after Chicago rally postponed.

Hundreds of demonstrators packed into an arena, breaking out into protest even before Trump had shown up. At least five sections in the arena were filled with protesters.

“Mr. Trump just arrived in Chicago, and after meeting with law enforcement, has determined that for the safety of all of the tens of thousands of people that have gathered in and around the arena, tonight’s rally will be postponed to another date,” the Trump campaign said in a statement. “Thank you very much for your attendance and please go in peace.”

Several fistfights between Trump supporters and protesters could be seen after the announcement, as a large contingent of Chicago police officers moved in to restore order.

Supporters of Trump still inside chanted “We want Trump” after the event was canceled. Protesters, meanwhile, shouted “We shut s*** down” and “We stumped Trump.” Others chanted “Bernie” as supporters whipped out Bernie Sanders campaign signs.

Ben Carson Plans to Endorse Donald Trump (VIDEO)

Former Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson plans on endorsing Donald Trump. Carson, who just last week suspended his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, plans to endorse Trump on Friday. Hmm … wonder what position Ben Carson would get in a Trump Administration? Last night during the 107th Republican debate on CNN, Trump referenced that Carson would be endorsing him. Talk about your Odd Couples. Could there be two candidates farther apart in style? I have to say that Ben Carson must have the thickest skin ever of anyone running for president or The Donald made him an offer he could not refuse. Remember when Trump likens Carson’s ‘pathology’ to that of a child molester during previous debates? Really Ben, this is who you would endorse?

This is obviously a key endorsement and coming right ahead of the Ohio and Florida primaries. A key endorsement indeed.

Conservative favorite Ben Carson, who last week suspended his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, plans to endorse Donald Trump on Friday morning, according to two people familiar with his thinking.

The endorsement, perhaps the most high-profile nod for Trump since New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie backed him, was finalized Thursday morning when Carson met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago, the luxury club owned by the Republican front-runner, the people said. The sources requested anonymity to discuss private conversations.

Friday’s announcement will also take place at the club in Palm Beach, Fla., where the onetime rivals will appear alongside one another at a news conference.

Univision Debate Moderator Jorge Ramos asks Hillary Clinton if She Will Drop Out of the Campaign, “If You get Indicted, will you Drop Out?” (VIDEO)

WOW, HAVE TO GIVE JORGE RAMOS CREDIT .. HE ASKED THE QUESTION THAT THE REST OF THE GUTLESS MSM HAS BEEN AFRAID TO ASK CLINTON …

Univision Debate Moderator Jorge Ramos went there last night and actually asked the question that the rest of the gutless MSM, including FOX News, has been unwilling and afraid to ask … “If You get Indicted, will you Drop Out?”

It was quite the uncomfortable moment in the Democrat debate for Hillary Clinton as she tried to laugh off the question and then not really answer it. She actually dismissed the question. Really Hillary? There are between 100-150 FBI agents working on your private email scandal and crimes and you are so flipped about it. She responded to Ramos by saying, “That is not going to happen. I’m not even answering that question.”

Univision debate moderator Jorge Ramos confronted Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Wednesday over her email scandal, directly asking her if she would drop out of the race for her party’s nomination if she were indicted.

“If you get indicted, will you drop out?” he asked her.

The former secretary of state refused to answer the question.

“Oh, for goodness,” she started when Ramos pressed her on the issue after she initially danced around it. “It’s not going to happen. I’m not even answering that question.”

And you hear the clapping of the sycophants in the audience when Hillary gave her lie-packed answers that everyone did it. Really? Everyone had a private email server in their bathroom? Imagine how the crowd would be reacting if it were a Republican who had done the same thing. Last time I checked Hillary, 150 FBI agents were not investigating any other past Secretary of States. ONLY YOU!

Let’s see if she’s laughing when the FBI brings down their decision.

CNN/ORC Poll: Donald Trump & Hillary Clinton leading in Florida & Ohio Polls

SORRY RUBIO AND KASICH, IF YOU CAN’T WIN YOUR OWN HOME STATE, GET OUT!!!

According to a recent CNN poll Donald Trump is beating Rubio in Florida and Kasich in Ohio. In Ohio, Trump is ahead with 41% to Kasich’s 35%, with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in third at 15% and Rubio in fourth with 7%. And in Florida, Trump holds and even bigger lead with 40% to Rubio’s 24%, with Cruz at 19% and Kasich at 5%.

Donald Trump thumbs up

Donald Trump is leading two of his Republican presidential rivals in their home states, topping Sen. Marco Rubio in Florida and Gov. John Kasich in Ohio, new CNN/ORC polls show.

Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, is far ahead of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in both states.

In Ohio, Trump holds 41% to Kasich’s 35%, with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in third at 15% and Rubio in fourth with 7%.

And in Florida, Trump holds 40% to Rubio’s 24%, with Cruz at 19% and Kasich at 5%.

The results come less than a week from the March 15 contests in Florida and Ohio, as well as Illinois, North Carolina and Missouri. The primaries in 99-delegate Florida and 66-delegate Ohio are particularly critical for Republicans, since both are winner-take-all.

In both states, large majorities say that if their home-state candidate doesn’t win, he should drop out: 71% say Kasich should exit if he loses Ohio, while 66% say Rubio should depart if he loses Florida.
