VIRGINIA SENATE ELECTION 2014: Ed Gillespie (R) – Incumbent Mark Warner (D) .. Too Close to Call
FOX NEWS IS REPORTING THAT THE VIRGINIA SENATE ELECTION IS TOO CLOSE TO CALL.
WOW … Going into tonight election, Democrat incumbent Mark Warner had a 10 point lead in the polls over Republican challenger Ed Gillespie. And a couple of weeks ago Warner was up by 20. Now on election night the race is too close to call. If this is a sign of things to come for Democrats, Obama and his minions are going to have a long, long nihgt. No one had Virginia even remotely in play.

Exit Polls Show that a Majority of Voters Dissatisfied or Angry with Barack Obama and Washington Inside the Beltway Politics
A majority of Americans are dissatisfied or angry with President Barack Obama’s administration and GOP leaders, according to exit polls released Tuesday and analyzed by CNN.
And about 8 in 10 Americans disapprove of how Congress is handling its job, according to a survey of voters outside of polling places on Election Day.
Nearly six in 10 voters are either dissatisfied or angry with both the White House and Republican leaders in Congress. Less than a third of Americans are satisfied with the Obama administration and GOP leaders.
And voters’ confidence in the government has been seriously shaken, with only 1 in 5 voters saying they trust the government to do the right thing.
UPDATE I: Tonight’s election is appearing to be a repudiation of Barack Obama and his disastrous policies.

KENTUCKY SENATE ELECTION 2014 – Mitch McConnell (R) – Alison Lundergan Grimes (D) (Update: FOX News Calls Race for McConnell)(Mitch McConnell Wins)
Early vote count has Republican Minority Senate Leader Mitch McConnell ahead of Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes, 60% to 38% with 2% reported.
UPDATE I: FOX NEWS HAS JUST CALLED THE ELECTION FOR REPUBLICAN MITCH MCCONNELL!!!
Fox News projects that Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell will win reelection to his Kentucky seat, defeating Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes.
This is a big win for Republicans because Kentucky was one of the few states where Democrats thought they had a chance of flipping a Senate seat from red to blue. It’s also significant because if Republicans take control of the Senate, McConnell will likely seek to replace Democrat Harry Reid as the next Senate majority leader.
THAT WAS QUICK!!! This is huge as Democrats were all in that they could take this seat from the GOP in an effort to retain control of the US Senate as they are expected to lose many seats tonight. If this is the way it is going to go in elections tonight, the GOP may find themsleves picking up a net 8 or more Senate seats this evening.
UPDATE II: AP – McConnell wins Ky. as GOP bids for Senate majority.
Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell won a hard-fought sixth term Tuesday, putting him a step closer to his lifelong dream of becoming majority leader and getting the GOP off to a good start in its goal of taking control of the Senate.
Democrats once had high hopes for challenger Alison Lundergan Grimes, Kentucky’s young secretary of state. But the hill was too steep in a state President Barack Obama lost by 23 percentage points in 2012.
UPDATE III: McConnell Crushes Grimes.
McConnell, who as Senate Republican leader is already one of the most powerful politicians in Washington, defeated his 35-year old Democratic challenger, in one of the most expensive contests of the campaign cycle. Grimes proved to be a surprisingly formidable opponent and was close in many polls throughout the campaign.
But CNN’s exit polls found McConnell succeeded in turning the race into a referendum on whether Democrats or Republicans should run the Senate. Of those interviewed, 86% said party control was important to them — and they broke 55% to 43% for McConnell over Grimes.

Ben Stein Says Divider in Chief Obama Playing the Race Card and “Is The Most Racist President There Has Ever Been”
Economist Ben Stein says that President Barack Obama and the Obama White House is the most racist ever …
The Community Agitator in Chief and the Divider in Chief has been the most divisive and polarizing president ever. At every possible opportunity, Barack Obama has played the race card to further divide America. Ben Stein blasted Obama saying, “He [Obama] is purposely trying to use race to divide Americans”.
Stein puts forth that the Democrats are lying to blacks and well, they pretty much are. But when you have nothing but a disastrous record, including record high black unemployment, and especially among black teens, what else is there but the politics of fear.
Economist Ben Stein believes the White House is playing the race card in an effort to get African-Americans to vote against Republicans.
Speaking to Fox News, Stein called President Barack Obama the most racist president in U.S. history.
“The president is the most racist president there has ever been in America,” Stein said. “He is purposely trying to use race to divide Americans.”
Stein claimed that Obama and other Democrats are trying to portray the GOP as anti-black.
“What the White House is trying to do is racialize all politics and they’re especially trying to tell the African-American voter that the GOP is against letting them have a chance at a good life in this economy, and that’s just a complete lie.”
Stein continued: “I watch with fascination – with incredible fascination – all the stories about how the Democratic politicians, especially Hillary [Clinton], are trying to whip up the African-American vote and say, ‘Oh, the Republicans have policies against black people in terms of the economy.’ But there are no such policies.”
Note to Ben Stein, Obama has two more years in office … look for that IRS audit in the mail coming soon.

November Surprise … Election-Eve Bombshell Memo Embroils NH Democrat Senator Jeanne Shaheen in IRS Targeting Scandal
A NOVEMBER ELECTION-EVE SURPRISE … COULD THIS TILT THE US SENATE ELECTION IN NEW HAMPSHIRE?
From Breitbart.com comes the following via The Daily Caller … What say you Granite State, are you willing to “Live Free or Die” with Democrat Jeanne Shaheen? The memo states that Jeanne Shaheen Conspired With White House Insider On IRS Targeting Scandal.
New Hampshire — Conservative groups here are outraged at a memo that surfaced hours before the polls open—a memo that suggests that incumbent Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) personally coordinated with the IRS’s Lois Lerner to use the tax agency’s power to target conservative groups.
Conservatives in New Hampshire—and in other states with Democratic U.S. Senators who sought to have the IRS look into conservative groups’ tax statuses—have been digging for evidence to tie those Democratic senators to the widely-panned efforts of the Lerner-led IRS division. For the most part, they’ve come up empty, save for tangential letters and evidence. But these new letters obtained by The Daily Caller’s Patrick Howley indicate some level of cooperation between the IRS and Democratic members of Congress in the lopsided scrutiny of conservative nonprofits.
“The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) did not want to publicly release 2012 correspondences exchanged between the IRS and Jeanne Shaheen at her personal Washington office: the agency delayed releasing the information to a major conservative super PAC multiple times, even threatening to see the super PAC in court, according to emails,” Howley wrote in what appears to be a bombshell story published late Monday evening, hours before the polls open here in a brutal election battle between Shaheen and former Sen. Scott Brown.
The letters that Howley obtained seem to indicate that Shaheen personally worked alongside the IRS’s Lerner to target conservative groups. The IRS’s then-chief counsel William J. Wilkins, who Howley notes had frequently visited President the White House and was “described by insiders as ‘The President’s Man at the IRS,’” wrote a personal “hand-stamped memo” addressed to “Senator Shaheen” on “official Department of the Treasury letterhead on April 25, 2012.”
“The IRS is aware of the current public interest in this issue,” Wilkins wrote in the memo to Shaheen.
