Pathetic … NAACP Ignores South Carolina’s Tim Scott & Utah’s Mia Love’s Historic 2014 Election Wins (Video)

What does NAACP stand for … Advancement of Colored People, I guess it only matters if they are liberal Democrats.

The NAACP should be ashamed of itself. The following was a statement provided by Cornell William Brooks, President and CEO of the NAACP following the 2014 midterm elections:

“This election was not about who won but the rather the citizens who lost the right to participate. This first election post the Shelby vs. Holder decision resulted in problems in every single state previously protected by the Voting Rights Act. For 49 years, these states were singled out because they had a history of discriminating against American voters. The Election Protection Hotline we manned with other concerned organizations fielded over 18,000 calls yesterday, many in those same states previously protected by the VRA. As we move forward—it is imperative that our newly elected Congress work with the NAACP and our partners to pass Voting Rights Act Amendment legislation that assures that all Americans have the franchise—our very democracy depends on it.”

What the NAACP failed to mention in their post 2014 election statement was the historic wins by Tim Scott and Mia Love. Are you kidding me? How do you not celebrate all blacks, no matter whether you happen to agree or not with their politics.  Tim Scott’s win on Tuesday, November 4th made him the first African-American elected to the US Senate from the South since Reconstruction. That is quite an accomplishment. Also, the NAACP failed to mention that Mia Love was the first black Republican woman to be elected to the House of Representatives.

How does an organization that claims to be about the advancement of blacks fail to mention such note worthy and historic accomplishments? Sadly, the NAACP is all about liberal politics, not the advancement of a race.

Fox News, The Five: Liberal Bob Beckel Flips his Middle Finger at Jesse Watters in Heated Post Election Discussion Clash on Democrats Playing the Race Card

Keep it classy Bob, keep it classy … Jesse Watters actually nails it.

Bob Beckel, the token liberal host on ‘The Five’ lost his cool and gave Jesse Watters the middle finger as he had no factual comeback to the accusations that Democrats had used the race card during this past midterm election. What is most interesting about the events that took place is that Jesse Watters, more known for his ‘Watters World’ segments on The O’Reilly Factor actually nailed the Democrats use of the race card and race baiting 100%, which is most likely why it hit such a nerve with Bob Beckel.

Watters said, “I think I know why they are doing it. If  anything that threatens the Democrat monopoly on the black vote, threatens the entire power structure of the Democrat party. It threatens any ability to get the White House. It threatens any ability to control urban areas. It threatens money, power … they try to scared blacks into not trying to cross the line.”

BINGO!!! When you have a voting block that continually and blindly votes +90% for one party, that political party will do anything to keep that overwhelming majority. Imagine what presidential races would be like if blacks voted only 60 to 70% for Democrats?

The Blaze:

The panel was discussing Democrats’ use of the “race card” against Republicans before and after the midterm elections when Watters argued, “Anything that threatens the Democrat monopoly on the black vote, threatens the entire power structure of the Democrat party.”

“Oh, come on,” Beckel responded in a frustrated tone.

Later in the segment, Beckel claimed the examples cited during the show were not representative of the Democratic party as a whole.

“Were there any white Democrats denouncing their rhetoric?” Watters replied. “I didn’t hear any. So they’re OK with it.”

“I’m denouncing it,” Beckel shot back.

“You’re not a leader,” Watters said.

After that critical comment, Beckel flipped Watters the bird — and the cameras caught it.

UPDATE I: Beckel later apologized during the show for his actions.

White House Reporters In Disbelief At Josh Earnest’s Spin On 2014 Midterm GOP Landslide Election Results

Actually White House spokesman Josh Earnest, you are paid to president Obama’s WH views on the 2014 midterm election results.

It would appear that the White House reporters have finally awoke after 6 years of Obama spin. Yesterday, the reporters sat in disbelief, gasped and laughed at the comments spewed from Josh Earnest’s mouth when it came to answer questions regarding Tuesday’s midterm election “wall to wall shellacking” and the a real “ass-whuppin” that Democrats suffered.

It is pathetic that they just can’t answer a simple question, how could they not be prepared to answer such a question? At least he said that he and Obama were disappointed with the outcome of the election. Ya think?

Transcript from The Gateway Pundit:

Reporter: Would you say Tuesday night was a big loss for Democrats?

Josh Earnest: Well, uh, again. In terms of the likes of punditry and analysis…

Reporters: (Gasps) It’s not punditry. It’s a real question… Cuz you guys spin it. I understand why you’re spinning it.

Earnest: There’s lots of people who get paid a lot more money than I do who are responsible for offering up analysis and spinning elections and I’m not going to do that…

Reporter: So you’re saying this is good for Democrats?

Earnest: No, that’s not what I’m saying. (Audience laughs)

Reporter: So you can say it’s good for Republicans but you can’t say it’s good or bad for Democrats?

Earnest: It is. It is. I’m certainly disappointed with the results of the election.

GOP House Speaker John Boehner Warns Barack Obama on Go-It-Alone Ammnesty Immigration Change … “When You Play With matches, You Take the Risk of Buring Yourself”

On the eve of Republican leaders meeting with Barack Obama on Friday, both sides have participated in verbal jousting following the landslide victories for the GOP during the November 4th midterm elections.

What is this nonsense about the GOP and Obama coming together and finding common ground? You have had 6 years to find common ground and vote appropriately. The American people spoke this past Tuesday and they 100% completely repudiated the Obama and Democrat agenda. Why on Earth would you think “We the People” handed control of the Senate to Republicans and increased the number of Republicans in the already GOP controlled House?  It certainly was not to capitulate to Obama’s radical agenda.

When Obama speaks today about what he wants Speaker Boehner, you might want to remind him that … ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES”.

Republican House Speaker John Boehner warned Barack Obama ahead of their meeting to not act unilaterally and go-it-alone on amnesty. He stated, if you play with matches, you will get burned”.  Oh great, you mean Boehner wants to have GOP buy in on amnesty? I would like to remind Speaker Boehner and Republicans the same, your base will trash you and throw all of you out if you go ahead on amnesty. Also, nothing should be done until the new House and Senate members are in place. You are a lame duck Congress and nothing of any great significance need to be passed. You had your opportunity.

NRO:

“I’ve made clear to the president that if he acts unilaterally on his own, outside of authority, he will poison the well,” Boehner said in a Thursday press conference. “And there will be no chance for immigration reform moving in this Congress. It’s as simple as that.”

The speaker trotted out the same warning when pressed on whether executive action would be a “catalyst” for congressional action on immigration, as the White House has suggested. “When you play with matches, you take the risk of burning yourself,” he cautioned. “And [President Obama] is going to burn himself if he continues to go down this path.”

Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) Says Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) Has “Been a Pathetic Majority Leader”

Well, if the pathetic majority leads fits, wear it …

Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) ripped into current and after Tuesday’s midterm elections, out-going Senate Majority leader Harry Reid (D-NV) calling the last four years “the most pathetic, pitiful way I’ve seen the Senate run in all my 38 years. Democrats have liked to call the GOP, the party of obstruction, yet it was Dingy Harry who blocked nearly 400 bills passed by the GOP-led House that as Hatch said, “couldn’t get the time of day in the Harry Reid Senate,” many of which had some Democratic support. This is what happens when you do Obama’s bidding, instead of acting like a separate branch of government meant to pass legislation for the betterment of “We the People,” not making our lives miserable.

But just when you think the Republicans have a clue, they make a comment like the following from Orrin Hatch, “by working with the GOP Congress, President Obama can leave office in two years with legislation to be proud of.” Really, are you serious? Note to Hatch, what makes you think that President Obama isn’t proud of what he has done to America. The only regrets that Obama probably has is that he did not tear apart the country even more before the voters finally figured things out.

Reid_Hatch

The Senate’s most senior Republican on Thursday bashed current Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), saying with the GOP in charge, there was potential for real accomplishments.

In a phone interview with The Hill, Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) called the last four years “the most pathetic, pitiful way I’ve seen the Senate run in all my 38 years — and I’ve seen some pretty pathetic, pitiful times.”

With the newly elected Republican majority, Hatch promised, the chamber will be better-run.

“People are sick of it. Even Democrats, a number of them by the way, said we’ve got to change this. We can’t live with this type of impasse all the time,” said Hatch.

The blame, he added, rests with the Democratic leader.

“Reid is one of my friends, but he’s been a pathetic majority leader as far as I’m concerned,” Hatch said. “He thought he was doing right by protecting his side, but I think the American people resented him because he got nothing done.”
