1st Presidential Hofstra Debate: Donald Trump: I Will Release My Emails When She (Hillary Clinton) Releases Her 33,000 Deleted Emails (VIDEO)

THE LINE OF THE NIGHT …

Donald Trump turned around the moderators question regarding releasing his tax return and posed an offer to Hillary Clinton to release her 33,000 emails that she deleted from her private server while secretary of State.

“I will say this, we have a situation in this country that has to be taken care of.  I will release my tax returns against my lawyers wishes, when she releases her 33,000 emails that have been deleted.  As soon as she releases them I will release, I will release my tax returns and that’s against, my lawyers say don’t do it …”

Trump nailed Hillary on this exchange; however, he should have kept on doing so the rest of the evening, especially when the question of cyber-security was asked.

Mittens Romney Attacks Others for Rise of Trump Yet the LOSER lost an Unlosable Campaign to Obama

HEY MITTENS … MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKEN YOUR OWN ADVICE AGAINST OBAMA …

It is rather comical when the establishment GOP blames others for what they themselves have caused. Mitt Romney, the failed, gutless, Republican presidential candidate who lost to a weak and wounded Barack Obama in 2012 now wants to blame others for the rise of Donald Trump. REALLY? Who the hell would take advice or even listen to a guy who lost to Obama because he did not take the gloves off and attack him. Instead Romney put on the mittens. A note to Romney and the mushy middle of the GOP … you are responsible for OBAMA!!!

Sorry if I don’t take advice or scorn from a man who lost a presidential race to a wounded and defeatable Obama. Dude, you lost your race, now shut up and go away. You are just as much to blame for the rise of Trump as anyone. Quit your whining and support Trump, unless you want Hillary as president.

Mittens Romney

Mitt Romney laid into the large and rambunctious group of 2016 Republican candidates here on Saturday, arguing that they deserved a share of blame for the rise of Donald Trump.

During a question-and-answer session with CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer before around 250 Republican donors gathered here for the Romney-hosted Experts and Enthusiasts summit, the former Massachusetts governor said this year’s group of primary candidates misplayed their hand. By spending months attacking each other and ignoring Trump, he argued, they made a severe tactical error that allowed Trump — who Romney has criticized as a “con man” and a “fraud” — to escape unharmed.

“Their biggest failure was attacking each other and not the frontrunner,” Romney said. “Just politically, I thought that move was not right for them.”

Romney reserved particular scorn for Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who Romney endorsed late in the primary process. The Texas senator, he pointed out, spent extensive time during the campaign praising Trump. He also said Ohio Gov. John Kasich had divided the anti-Trump vote by remaining in the race long after it had become clear he didn’t have a realistic pathway to the nomination — a message he said had relayed personally to the Ohio governor. And Romney chided Right to Rise, the $100 million-plus Jeb Bush super PAC that spent heavily to tear down Bush rivals other than Trump.

“I thought it was an extremely large mistake on their part,” he said of Right to Rise

David French Is Not Running for President

WOW, LIKE HE EVER HAD A SHOT OF DOING ANYTHING BUT THROWING THE ELECTION TO HILLARY …

As reported by David French in the National Review, David French is not running for president as an independent. Was it ever really a plausible notion that he could? French went on to say, and I can’t say I do not disagree with his, “Never before have both parties failed so spectacularly, producing two dishonest, deceitful candidates who should be disqualified from running for town council, much less leader of the free world.” That’s about right, but sadly that is what the voters of both parties and independents where allowed to vote did. This is the mess we are stuck with and any effort by Conservatives to run a third party person, unless they can find a way to resurrect Ronald Reagan, will only result in a Hillary Clinton victory.

I’m not the right person to challenge Trump and Hillary, but the path remains open for others. Here is a sentence I never thought I’d type: After days of prayer, reflection, and serious study of the possibilities, I am not going to run as an independent candidate for president of the United States.

I gave it serious thought — as a pretty darn obscure lawyer, writer, and veteran — only because we live in historic times. Never before have both parties failed so spectacularly, producing two dishonest, deceitful candidates who should be disqualified from running for town council, much less leader of the free world. Hillary Clinton lies habitually and changes position on virtually every public issue except for her pro-abortion extremism, and she has a suspicious record of making public decisions that favor donors to the Clinton Foundation. Her signal foreign-policy “achievement” was helping launch a war in Libya that not only cost American lives in Benghazi but also helped transform the nation into ISIS’s latest playpen.

To add to all that, she’s in the middle of an active FBI investigation. If I had handled classified information the way we know she handled classified information, my career would already be over, and the single goal of my life would be persuading the prosecutor to reach a lenient plea bargain. Donald Trump also lies habitually (sometimes minute by minute), and changes position based on his moods. In one breath he claims to support working men and women, and then with the next breath he threatens to destroy our economy through trade wars or by playing games with the full faith and credit of the United States. He believes an American judge — a man born in Indiana who spent months hiding from drug cartels after they’d put a “hit” on him – can’t rule on a case involving Trump University because the judge’s parents emigrated from Mexico.

Donald French was the hand picked candidate by Bill Kristol. What was that jack-ass comment again Bill?

Bernie Sanders Destroys Hillary Clinton in West Virginia Democratic Primary, 51% – 36%

HEY HILLARY … ITS ALL ABOUT THE COAL. CLINTON FEELS THE COAL BERN!!!

Coal country is no longer Clinton country as Hillary Clinton found herself getting her miners hat handed to her by socialist Bernie Sanders in the Democrat West Virginia primary. When the dust steeled Sanders beat Clinton 51% to 36%, a much wider victory than polls had indicated. What a turn of events for Hillary Clinton. In the 2008 Democrat primary, Clinton beat Obama in WV, 67% to 23% and got over 240,000 votes. Flash-forward to 2016 and Hillary received a mere 84,000 votes.

Not so fast Hillary in pivoting to the general election, you still have a socialist on your tail who has now won a remarkable 19 states. It is safe to say that Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democrat nominee, who is limping over the finish line, has no chance of victory in the general election in West Virginia. On the GOP side, Trump wins in WV and Nebraska as he ran unopposed.

West Virginia_Dem Primary 2016

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has won the West Virginia Democratic primary, NBC News projects, a victory that will add yet more fuel to his argument that he should remain in the race despite badly trailing front runner Hillary Clinton in the overall delegate count.

The win comes one week after Sanders prevailed in Indiana’s Democratic primary and two weeks after Clinton dominated a series of contests in the northeastern United States.

Democrats also voted on Tuesday in a presidential “beauty contest” in Nebraska, although the delegates from that state were all previously assigned during a March 5 caucus. In that contest, Sanders won 15 pledged delegates, compared to 10 for Clinton.

“With this outcome, we now have won primaries and caucuses in 19 states,” Sanders said in a statement after the results were in. “We are in this campaign to win the Democratic nomination and we’re going to stay in the race until the last vote is cast.”

It is hard to believe that Bernie Sanders continues to make political life difficult for Hillary Clinton. An unknown, 74 year old socialist is showing just how weak a candidate Hillary Clinton really is. No one, and I mean no one, including Democrat strategists saw this coming. Not even Bernie Sanders.

United States Military Troops Prefer Donald Trump to Clinton By a “HUGE” Margin

US ACTIVE MILITARY PREFERS TRUMP OVER HILLARY BY 2 TO 1 MARGIN …

In a new poll of active American military personnel, Donald Trump leads by a wide margin to become the next Commander in Chief. The survey of active-duty service members chose Trump over Clinton by a 54% to 25% margin. In fact, self-proclaimed socialist Bernie Sanders, who has no chance of winning the Democrat primary because of a rigged establishment super delegate process, does better than Clinton in this poll. Interestingly enough as the Daily Caller points out, criticism from the GOP foreign policy establishment pointing out Trump’s inexperience in the field has done little to dissuade active-duty service members from throwing their support behind the real estate tycoon.

In a new survey of American military personnel, Donald Trump emerged as active-duty service members’ preference to become the next U.S. president, topping Hillary Clinton by more than a 2-to-1 margin. However, in the latest Military Times election survey, more than one in five troops said they’d rather not vote in November if they have to choose between just those two candidates.

But given only those choices, 21 percent of the service members surveyed said they would abstain from voting. More than 54 percent of the 951 troops Military Times surveyed said they would vote for Trump, the presumed Republican presidential nominee, over Clinton, the Democratic front-runner. Only about 25 percent said they would vote for Clinton in that matchup.

Democrats overwhelmingly favored Clinton (72 percent to 8 percent) and Republicans overwhelmingly supported Trump (82 percent to 6 percent). Troops who identified as independents slightly favored Trump, by a 40 percent to 32 percent margin.

Female troops favored Clinton over Trump, by a 51 percent to 24 percent margin. Male troops backed Trump over Clinton 57 percent to 22 percent.

Officers were more likely to back Clinton, though still said they’d vote for Trump by a 46 percent to 32 percent tally. Enlisted respondents broke 58 percent to 21 percent for Trump.
