Former Independent Presidential Candidate H. Ross Perot Endorses Mitt Romney … “the nation can’t afford four more years of President Obama”
Former Independent Presidential candidate of the Reform Party, H. Ross Perot has thrown his support behind and has endorses Mitt Romney for president. Perot stated in his support for Romney, the United States is on an unsustainable path and “the nation cannot afford four more years of of President Obama.” This is an interesting endorsement. Probably the most prominent “Independent” ever to run for President. In 1992 Presidential election Perot received nearly 19% of the vote. Could this endorsement swing the needle for Independents?
Decrying a “stagnant” economy, Perot writes:
“Economic growth is insufficient to create enough jobs for a country whose population is growing. The result is unemployment stuck over 8 percent for every single month of Barack Obama’s presidency.
We have 23 million Americans who are looking for work and either can’t find a full-time job, can’t find a job at all, or who have given up looking. That is wrong. It’s not the way America ought to be.
At the same time, and not unrelated, is the extraordinary explosion of federal deficits and federal debt. In the last four years during Obama’s presidency, he’s added around $5 trillion to our national debt, more than any previous president.
This was accomplished by successive federal budgets that each ran deficits exceeding $1 trillion a year. It is this massive deficit spending that threatens to undermine our future standard of living. To pay for our government’s massive debts, Washington’s profligacy, our children and grandchildren will be paying interest and principal on the nation’s debt for untold years into the future. That is wrong. It’s not the way America ought to be.”
From The Weekly Standard comes an email sent by Perot to the Romney campaign:
“Our country faces a serious choice,” Perot says in a statement emailed out by the Romney campaign. “The fact of the matter is that the United States is on unsustainable course. At stake is nothing less than our position in the world, our standard of living at home, and our constitutional freedoms. That is why I am endorsing Mitt Romney in his quest for the presidency.
Romney Up 4% in USA TODAY/Gallup Poll … Obama Has Gender Problem with Men and Woman in Swing States
And the polling troubles for President Barack Obama keep on coming.
Mitt Romney now leads Barack Obama by 4 points, 50% to 46%, among “likely” voters in the swings states in a recently released USA Today/Gallup poll. The swing states consist of Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin. Who is to thank for Romney’s surge … WOMAN! Don’t look now, but Obama has a gender problem with both men and woman. Romney has pulled within one of Obama with woman and Romney leads Obama by 8% with men.
Mitt Romney leads President Obama by four percentage points among likely voters in the nation’s top battlegrounds, a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds, and he has growing enthusiasm among women to thank.
As the presidential campaign heads into its final weeks, the survey of voters in 12 crucial swing states finds female voters much more engaged in the election and increasingly concerned about the deficit and debt issues that favor Romney. The Republican nominee has pulled within one point of the president among women who are likely voters, 48%-49%, and leads by 8 points among men.
[...]
“In every poll, we’ve seen a major surge among women in favorability for Romney” since his strong performance in the first debate, veteran Democratic pollster Celinda Lake says. “Women went into the debate actively disliking Romney, and they came out thinking he might understand their lives and might be able to get something done for them.”
Barack Obama already had a gender gap with men, that has not changed. However, if Obama is going to poll even with Romney with woman, this could be a landslide election. Is it really come as a surprise? Romney came across as completely likable during the first debate and not Satan as Obama attack ads had displayed. Then came Biden’s obnoxious and over the top antics during the VP debate that reminded every woman of the worst date or their ex-spouse.
Now, the USA TODAY/Gallup Poll shows Romney leading Obama 50%-46% among likely voters in the swing states. Men who are likely voters back him 52%-44%. The states are Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.
What is the Obama campaign’s reaction to the poll, to question the absurd poll sampling of course. Awe, whats the matter with the whiners from the Obama campaign, do they not approve of a poll that does not have a +9 to +11 D sampling? Wait a minute, didn’t they just recently criticize the Romney camp for feeling the need to talk about the public polls, because they don’t?

Team Obama, Did You See This … CNN Host Says Mitt Romney “Might Just Save America”
WOW … Who said the following, Mitt Romney “Might Just Save America” … Sean Hannity of Fox News or Rush Limbaugh? Wrong.
From Breitbart comes the following truthful piece from CNN’s host Piers Morgan who wrote a a pro-Romney piece at the Mail Online. When was the last time you ever heard the Leftist media make such a comment. In public that is.
That hardly makes him unusual in mainstream media circles.
What is unusual, though, is the column he just penned for The Daily Mail. The headline says it all, “He’s one of the least principled politicians I’ve met. But I believe Mitt Romney might just save America.”
Morgan doubles down on Romney’s image as a flip-flopper, but he goes on to salute Romney as a man, father and husband and remind us the GOP presidential candidate is particularly brilliant at making broken things run again.
Independents and Democrats with a conscience should be pondering this very notion … Mitt Romney “Might Just Save America”, because we know that Barack Obama and his promises of Hope and Change have not.

Benghazi-gate: Axelrod defends White House on Libya & Throws Hillary Clinton and State Department Under the Obama Bus
It all depends on what “we”, is … Wasn’t this the White House that promised us transparency? The Obama White House continues the blame game and the buck stops some where else.
Obama senior adviser David Axelrod went on FOX News Sunday and got his lunch handed to him by host Cris Wallace as Axelrod tried to deflect blame from Barack Obama and threw Hillary Clinton under the bus. Axelrod was questioned by Wallace as to Joe Biden’s comment during the VP debate that the White House had no knowledge that requests for security in Libya were rejected. Axelrod stated that the State Department was responsible for embassy security matters. Hmm, now Obama WH trying to toss Hillary Clinton under the bus?
FOX News Sunday (see full transcript HERE):
WALLACE: But, David, just the day before, several State Department officials testified under oath that there were repeated requests for more security that were rejected. What is the vice president talking about?
AXELROD: I think the vice president was talking about what the White House knew. There are embassies all over the world and installations all over the world, and these requests go into the security professionals at the State Department. And there is no doubt, some of these matters went into the security department at the state security agency at the State Department. But it didn’t come to the White House and that what is the vice president was responding to.
WALLACE: So, we’re now getting into a definition of what the word “we” means. When the vice president says “we” he’s not talking about the Obama administration, because, the question was not about what you knew, it is that there were requests for more security. Biden is not talking about the Obama administration. He’s not talking about the State Department.
He’s just talking about himself and the president?
AXELROD: No, I think, Chris. Again, he was talking about was what he, the president knew because these matters were being handled at the State Department.
Rasmussen Now Has Romney Ahead in Virginia 49% to 47%
Don’t look now but another battleground state is trending to Mitt Romney.
According to the most recent Rasmussen poll, GOP Presidential candidate Mitt Romney leads President Barack Obama 49% to 47% in the Commonwealth of Virginia. This is yet another example of a state that Obama won comfortably in 2008, 53% – 47%, but is now trailing in 2012.
Mitt Romney now has a two-point lead in Virginia.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Virginia Voters shows Romney with 49% of the vote, while President Obama earns 47% support. One percent (1%) likes another candidate in the race, and three percent (3%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
The RCP poll has Obama with a slim 0.4% lead over Romney. However, this is including a highly suspect NY Times/Quinnipiac poll that has Obama with an outlier +5 and no description in the poll of what the sampling was. When you dismiss this poll, Romney is actually slightly ahead in the averaging of polls.
