55% of Americans Want to Keep ICE, Not Abolish It Like Democrats

DEMOCRATS AND THE LEFT ON THE WRONG SIDE AGAIN …

According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 55% of Americans are opposed to getting rid of ICE, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, while only 25% are in favor. After all of the MSM and Democrat blitz against President Donald Trump on illegal immigration policy, Americans can see through the BS. Americans realize that Trump is doing the same thing as the three Presidents who preceded him, including Obama. But for some reason the LEFT, MSM and Democrats were silent when that occurred. Now with all the cries from the LEFT and Democrat politicians to abolish ICE, a majority of Americans say no. 69% of Republicans and 53% of voters not affiliated with either major political party oppose getting rid of ICE. Immigration is said to be a top issue going into the 2018 midterm elections and the Democrats are on the wrong side of most Americans.

A growing number of Democrats are calling for abolishing the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, but even among voters in their own party, there’s not much support for the idea. Maybe that’s because voters think the government needs to be even more aggressive in deporting illegal immigrants.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 25% of Likely U.S. Voters favor getting rid of ICE whose duties include border control. Fifty-five percent (55%) are opposed. Twenty percent (20%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Sixty-nine percent (69%) of Republicans and 53% of voters not affiliated with either major political party oppose getting rid of ICE. Democrats agree by a narrower 44% to 36% margin.

Thirty-three percent (33%) of all voters believe the U.S. government is too aggressive in deporting those who are in this country illegally. But a plurality (46%) disagrees and says the government isn’t aggressive enough. Just 13% consider the current number of deportations as about right.

Longtime Broadcaster Ed Schultz Dies at 64

ED SCHULTZ PASSES AWAY …

Today it comes as a surprise that longtime broadcaster Ed Schultz has died at the age if 64. Media reports state that he dies of “natural causes” as Schultz passed quietly early morning on July 5 at his home in Washington, D.C. I can’t say I agreed with much Ed Schultz had to say, although I can agree that passing away at the age of 64 is far too young. After his show was canceled at MSNBC Schultz joined TT America to produce “The News with Ed Schultz.” As reported at the Washington Free Beacon, Schultz and his new show were criticized by many of his fellow progressives for taking a new positive tone towards both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Republican President Donald Trump. None more evident where I never agreed more with Ed Schultz as he ripped Hillary Clinton a new one for not having the common decency to give her concession speech, but instead prolonging the BS by sending out her campaign chair Podesta instead. Schultz stated, this is the same campaign that was questing Trump to how he would handle the outcome of the election.”

Ed Schultz, the longtime broadcaster who churned up the Fargo-Moorhead area airwaves before moving into the national spotlight as a progressive firebrand, died of natural causes Thursday, July 5, at his home in Washington, D.C.

Schultz, the host of “The News With Ed Schultz” on RT America, was 64.

“We at RT America are sad to announce the passing of Edward Andrew Schultz. Ed Schultz passed quietly early morning on July 5 at his home in Washington, D.C. This announcement comes as a shock to all of us here at RT America,” the network said in a statement.

Schultz never shied away from controversy. If anything, he sought it out.

He was a man of contrasts. A political chameleon with a driving ambition. [...]

In 2004, Schultz took his radio show nationwide. Then in 2009, he moved to national television, becoming a prime-time progressive voice on MSNBC through 2015, when his show was dropped.

He started his job at RT America, formerly called Russia Today, in early 2016, hosting the half-hour show “The News With Ed Schultz.”

Schultz, who was critical of Russian President Vladimir Putin while at MSNBC, said when he took the RT job that he didn’t anticipate any problems. “Nobody is going to tell Ed Schultz what to say,” he told The Forum.

Looks Like Oprah Winfrey Not Running for President in 2020 … “I would not be able to do it … It would kill me.”

During an interview with Vogue, Oprah pretty much stated for the 100th time that she would not be running for president in 2020.  Much to the dismay of the LEFT, who have no real presidential bench for the 2020 election, Oprah said, “I would not be able to do it. It’s not a clean business. It would kill me.” It might also be impossible for you to explain away your chummy relationship with Harvey Weinstein. And that might also kill her media career as well. But once again the Democrats are left with another pipe-dream of a candidate who wil not be taking on President Trump. Many felt that the LEFT needed star power and charisma to take on Trump in 2020. Actual Democrats, what you need is ideas that the American people are for like low taxes, low unemployment, a strong economy, tough on illegal immigration and terrorism. Oh wait, that’s President Donald Trump.

Man allegedly Threatens to Chop up Rand Paul and His Family with an Ax … Arrested by U.S. Capitol Police

THE CIVIL LEFT …

As reported at the Courier Journal, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and his family was allegedly threaten by a male to be chopped up with an ax. WTH!?! Sen. Paul tweeted his thanks on Monday to the U.S. Capitol Police for arresting a man who allegedly threatened to kill the Republican lawmaker and chop up his family with an ax. Although the police did not comment in an ongoing investigation, speaking at an event on Monday in Litchfield, KY, Paul said the unnamed man had called his Bowling Green office and “threatened to kill me and chop up my family with an ax.” This is not the first time that Sen. Paul has faced such threats and violence and certainly not the first time that Republicans law makers and Trump suppers have been viciously attacked because of their support of President Trump. The uncivil behavior and violence against Republicans is out of control. Are the Democrat leaders only going to denounce this after some one is seriously hurt, or worse?

A man is accused of threatening to chop up U.S. Sen. Rand Paul and his family with an ax.

The man has been arrested. He allegedly called in the threats to Paul’s Bowling Green office.

Paul mentioned the attack publicly at an event in Leitchfield, Kentucky, on Monday.

“Capitol Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man who threatened to kill me and chop up my family with an axe,” Paul said. “It’s just horrendous that we have to deal with things like this.”

Capitol Police declined to comment because the investigation is ongoing.
