Tiger By The Tail?

Who could not see this coming after watching Tiger Woods have a less than spectacular 1st round 74 in Augusta at The Masters? To watch the next couple of rain soaked days on Friday and Saturday we started to see the brilliance of Tiger. Upon seeing what was a partial 3rd round on Saturday to be finished up this morning I figured Tiger would be even or 1 to 2 back.

To even my surprise I awoke this morning to see the mastery that is Tiger Woods. With everyone wondering what has happened to Tiger Woods’ game; I guess the answer is, nothing.

In true Tiger Woods fashion by making the impossible looks routine; he is a man among boys. When his game is on there is nothing that can get in his way as seen by his 3rd round play.

Howard Dean’s Dollar Store

Howard Dean outlined plans for support in states by investing almost half a million dollars in state parties in Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota and West Virginia.

“We have to show up if we’re going to win, and we’re going to rebuild and empower our state parties,” Dean said when he announced the $465,000 investment.

It would seem that these Democrats just will never learn. Not only is it folly to think that certain states are even to be considered in play, but the notion that throwing money at the problem will some how change the outcome is comical.

The Democratic Party has long had this misconception in domestic policies. Money alone does not solve problems. Throwing money hand over fist at problems never solves anything. Allocating money in a wise manner in an efficient way with a plan has become a foreign concept to Democrats. It looks like Dean is going to bring that same failed idea to revamp the Democratic Infrastructure.

Keep in mind it was Howard Dean’s campaign that set records for raising campaign contributions during the Democratic Primaries and frittered it away almost as quickly as he received it. Looks like he’s up to his old tricks. It is amazing with his track record that the Democrats would put this man in charge of the treasure chest.

So That’s Why Bill Clinton Did It

Well 1 Out of 3 Ain’t Bad. Of course there is no question of which one he chose.

“C” Is For …. Carrot???

What is the name of all things scared to my youth has PBS done now? Surely there must be another way to explain to children about eating healthy other than destroying my childhood image of the Cookie Monster? Who can’t remember that lovable blue fur-ball devouring a bag of cookies and as all the cookie crumbs flew everywhere?

“C” is and will always stand for COOKIE!!!

I had heard this story the other day but it slipped my mind until I was so devastatingly reminded today. A hat tip to McGehee at Yippee-Ki-Yay for reminding and saddening me both at the same time.

What is wrong with this picture? A Cookie Monster surrounded by Vegetables. The Celery Monster? The Tomato Monster? The Brussel Sprouts Monster (Oh, kids will love that.)

What’s next? Are they going to tell me, “Its not easy Being Green“?

Looks like OTB has got on the story too. Too bad he didn’t come here first.

Tipping Point? What’s the MSM Going To Say Now

I believe this would be the definition of a Tipping Point. It is about time all begin to understand who stands for peace and democracies for everyone.

Let’s just hope the MSM gives it as much attention as they do anti-war rallies.
