Laura Bush; As Popular as Ever

Laura Bush is the definition of class and style. I guarantee you George W. Bush thanks her every night for Laura, just being Laura.

Laura is also #4 as reasons why Democrats lose elections. Was there ever a choice at all who this country wanted as First Lady, Laura or Teresa? That was an easy call.

Gee Honey, Look What I Found in the Back Yard

Oh sure, I could be so lucky. All I ever seem to find other than more work to do in my back yard is more rocks. Not the same can be said for Tim Crebase of Methuen, MA who found a stash of cash buried in his yard.

Crebase said two men with him when he uncovered the box, as well as the owner of the Methuen house where he lives, agree the treasure, estimated to be worth as much as $75,000, is his.

“I’m the one who found it,” he said.

Crebase said he’ll make sure his new wealth doesn’t cause new rifts.

“I’d rather burn the money than cause problems between me and my friends,” said Crebase, who was in New York on Wednesday for cable and network TV interviews.

Yeah that’s it, I’m burning the money boys. I’m going down to the bank no the dump to burn the money, yeah. In all seriousness, if he burned the money he may in fact create issues with his buddies. Split it up and off to the North End you go.

The total stash was about 1,800 bills dating between 1899 and 1929 and piles of gold and silver certificates.

“I thought I was in a dream looking at this stuff,” said Mangano, who estimated the value of the find at between $50,000 to $75,000.

A pretty good days work in the back yard. There is no truth to the rumor that Red will be digging up every inch of his back yard this weekend.

Update: The buried treasure is worth more than $100,000, according to a coin shop owner.

Reason #7 Why Democrats Lose Elections

Two words … Al Gore.

Former Vice President Al Gore on Wednesday blamed Republican “lust for one-party domination” for the GOP campaign to change Senate rules on filibustering judicial nominees, and he assailed religious zealots for driving the effort.

“This aggressive new strain of right-wing religious zealotry is actually a throwback to the intolerance that led to the creation of America in the first place,” Gore said as many in the audience stood and applauded. The speech was sponsored by the liberal group MoveOn’s political action committee.

Speech sponsored by MoveOn.org who interestingly enough are reason #3 why Democrats lose elections.

Seems that the RNC agrees with Scared Monkeys also.

Republican National Committee spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt said that “if Democrats wonder why they are the minority party, they should look no further than Al Gore’s comments today. Americans have moved on, and want their leaders to focus on an agenda, rather than obstruction.”

Does anybody know who Al Gore is?
Anybody???
Oh, well, never mind.

Do Democrats Really Need Conferences To Figure Out Why They Lose Elections

Following the 2004 Presidential Elections the Democratic Party had conferences after conference, meeting after meeting with liberal think tanks and “so-called” Democratic pundits explaining my they lost. Every excuse in the world was dreamed up from Republican’s lied to Karl Rove is evil and let us not forget Bush stole the election. What makes the matter even more insane is the Left’s complete misunderstanding of GWB and his connection with Americans. The Left loves to cite polls, yet we remember how inaccurate and skewed exit polls can be. The Democrats thought up of everything except the most simple answer that would most Americans could relate to, understand and be repulsed.

McGehee gets it why can’t the Democrats. Its as simple as the over the top hate against Bush that is represented by the Left.

Writing books on assassinating the President. Creating art the depicts the same. Now doing radio skits that promote the same liberal hate agenda.

What would be the point of doing such a bit on a radio station? Was it supposed to be funny? Informative? What? Other than pander to the insane Left and God forbid incite someone to act, what redeeming quality would come from such a radio bit?

DO DEMOCRATS REALLY NEED TO FIND OUT WHY THEY LOSE ELECTIONS? JUST LOOK AT WHAT SUPPORTS YOUR PARTY AND THERE IS NO NEED TO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY OTHERS FLOCK AWAY FROM YOU IN MASS.

HATE IS NOT A POLICY.

Seems that Michelle Malkin gets it also. Michelle has another reason as to why such disgusting behavior was done, “Is this her cheap, sick attempt to boost those pathetic ratings?

Update: (Drudge Report)

WHITE HOUSE SPOKESMAN MCCLELLAN CALLS AIR AMERICA SKIT ‘VERY INAPPROPRIATE AND OVER THE LINE’…

AIR AMERICA HOST RANDI RHODES APOLOGIZED WEDNESDAY FOR THE NETWORK’S AIRING OF A CLIP WHICH APPEARED TO TIE A GUNSHOT THREAT TO PRESIDENT BUSH… ‘IT WAS A LAME ATTEMPT AT HUMOR, I APOLOGIZE… IT WAS BAD’…

Housing Bubble, What Housing Bubble

The nay sayer’s, otherwise known as those who know nothing and love to predict doom on the premise that all good things must come to an end, predicted 2005 was the end of the housing boom in the US. They would have been wrong. However, the red-hot market keeps getting hotter.

And it’s not just in Florida and Connecticut. The government reported Tuesday that purchases of new single-family homes shot up 12.2 percent in March, the biggest percentage gain in more than a decade. The big gain pushed sales to an annual rate of 1.43 million units, the highest in history and well past the 1.3 million rate set last October.

The March surge surprised analysts. They had been forecasting sales would decline around 2 percent last month, reflecting the rise in mortgage rates during the month. The 30-year mortgage rose at the end of March to 6.04 percent, the high so far this year.

But now rates have turned back down again, a development that many economists believe will support further gains in home sales in coming months.

A nationwide survey done by Freddie Mac showed rates on 30-year, fixed-rate mortgages have fallen for three straight weeks to 5.8 percent last week, very close to their low for the year of 5.57 percent in early February

What analyst do not take into account is that fact that rising incremental interest rates are not worrying the American public. There are those that owned homes or remember their parents owning back in the late 70′s when there were double digit interest rates that fluctuated like a Geiger counter measuring a California earthquake. Also the fact that more people have access to mortgages and home ownership than ever before. Blacks and Hispanics are at unprecedented home ownership.

I think what many analysts miss is the following:
Home ownership is not only looked upon as a great asset and form of investment. Home ownership is still one of the great American Dreams.
