So now MSNBC has sunk to making racism accusations and threats against a President of color because of racism when none exist? You should be ashamed. So-called news organizations fanning the flames of racial tensions. SICK!!!
As I have always said, there are few things worse than racism, except maybe making accusations of racism when they are 100% false. Join the outrage from The Ace of Spades, Hot Air and NewsBusters … this crap has to come to an end.

It would appear that MSNBC in their agenda to create a race war and push to the American people that protesters against Obama and Obamacare are racist, failed to mention that the protester carrying the gun was BLACK. Oops, I am sure this was just an oversight.
On Tuesday, MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer fretted over health care reform protesters legally carrying guns: “A man at a pro-health care reform rally…wore a semiautomatic assault rifle on his shoulder and a pistol on his hip….there are questions about whether this has racial overtones….white people showing up with guns.” Brewer failed to mention the man she described was black.

Patterico Pontifications displays his outrage as well at MSNBC and reminds us of real protesters who brought signs to Presidental events threatening harm to Presient Bush. The sad reality is that this stunt was not done by a far left blog, it was done by a news outlet. Or what used to be one.

UPDATE I: MSNBC Responds to The Politico with BS excuse and justification for cropping video. What a bunch of typical liberal crap coming from BSNBC. She was speaking in general but some how MSNBC fabricated the truth by cropping it out. You mean to tell me if there were so many white people with guns, why didn;t they use that footage? Instead they purposely took footage and made it appear to be something that it wasn’t.
But by raising the racial issue in this context, bloggers claimed that MSNBC was purposely misleading viewers by not showing that at least one African-American man has also carried a gun to an event.
An MSNBC spokesperson responded to POLITICO: “Contessa was speaking generally and not about that specific person with the automatic weapon.”

The problem with this type of reporting is not just that it is not factual and inflames the public, but it takes the focus away from the real issues of health care. I am not in favor of higher taxes or living off the government, but my insurance premiums and co-pay have doubled in seven years. My salary is the same!!!

I personally think they should teach what’s in the Bible along side what’s in the Science Books and let people make their own decisions on what they believe. I’m tired of the schools teaching “The Big Bang Theory” as fact & “Evolution” theory as fact. Our children are being brainwashed by the left and I don’t like it. I have explained to my children that those are Theories and not to be taken as fact.
I know I will get ridiculed for posting this by some Atheist (YoYo mainly) but I don’t care. I believe the Bible and I see know reason to think differently.
Too many scientist use their personal beliefs as fact instead of documented evidence.

re: 3. Speaking of the beer summit, has anyone noticed that no analogy was ever made between the Gates incidence, and Bob Dylan being questioned by police? All we heard was that the police were too young to know who Dylan was. The point is that when police asked him to prove his identity, he calmly, without shouts and smears, let them escort him back to the tour bus, where he was able to prove it.
Not everything is about race. Opposition to any given Obama policy is only based in racial prejudice if you’re opposed because his skin is a different color than yours.

I am truly frightened by most of the opinions posted here. I accidentally was directed to this site and I am appalled by the misinformation and vitriolic thoughts of some. I would suggest that each of you tune into BBC or a similar station to get unbiased reporting, or spend one night watching MSNBC and FOX the next night. Both stations cater to a certain group of listeners but most Americans are bright enough to see through the manipulation of both. Our country cannot survive with all this divisiveness. True patriots will work to solve our problems. There should not be anyone in this country willing to undermine our citizens. Be careful what you wish for….

Yes. The free market. The free market allows an infinite number of ideas. Some are more useful than others and, when the market is allowed to operate, you will see the best ideas rise to the top. They are sustainable and economical. “Reformers” want only ONE idea that will be forced on everyone. If it is a bad idea, too bad. In the free market bad ideas go out of business. In government, bad ideas get more funding. That funding comes from hard-working taxpayers.
So there are many ideas. I am not smart enough to know what ones are the best, workable ideas. But I do know that HR 3200 will make some of the ones I like illegal.
