Remember when Barack Obama was elected and people said that it would make black/white race relations better … Hows that Hopey/Changey stuff working out for you America?
In 2008 many Americans, including many whites with liberal white guilt, elected Barack Hussein Obama because they thought it would ease race relation in the United States and some how correct the evils of slavery and past racism and discrimination. However, some seven years later and any thought of black/white race relations getting any better are out the window. According to a recent New York Times/CBS News poll, nearly six in 10 Americans, including heavy majorities of both whites and blacks, think race relations are generally bad. In fact, nearly four in 10 think the situation is getting worse. During Mr. Obama’s 2008 campaign, nearly 60% of blacks said race relations were generally bad, but that number was cut in half shortly after he won. However, it has now soared to 68%. But although blacks think race relations are worse, they could not find it in them-self to say that Obama has done a poor job with race relations. Imagine that. However, under Obama he has brought the racial pressure cooker to the brink and his taking of of one side has been on display for 7 years. It has become evident that with Obama, only black lives do matter, as he can only see himself as Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown, rather than his half white side of murdered Kathryn Steinle. Too bad that Obama is supposed to be the leader of all, not just some.

Seven years ago, in the gauzy afterglow of a stirring election night in Chicago, commentators dared ask whether the United States had finally begun to heal its divisions over race and atone for the original sin of slavery by electing its first black president. It has not. Not even close.
A New York Times/CBS News poll conducted last week reveals that nearly six in 10 Americans, including heavy majorities of both whites and blacks, think race relations are generally bad, and that nearly four in 10 think the situation is getting worse. By comparison, two-thirds of Americans surveyed shortly after President Obama took office said they believed that race relations were generally good.
The swings in attitude have been particularly striking among African-Americans. During Mr. Obama’s 2008 campaign, nearly 60 percent of blacks said race relations were generally bad, but that number was cut in half shortly after he won. It has now soared to 68 percent, the highest level of discontent among blacks during the Obama years and close to the numbers recorded in the aftermath of the riots that followed the 1992 acquittal of Los Angeles police officers charged in the beating of Rodney King.
Wake up America, this is what happens when you elect a community agitator who’s entire presidency has been based on racial divide and class warfare. In many respects, the only reason why Obama was ever voted into office, especially among white voters, was because of the notion that he would some how make race relations better. It certainly was not because he was qualified to be president. However, how many times must you be reminded, its not about the color of one’s skin, it is about the content of their character.

I won’t deny race relations are that their worst since Obama became President. that part is turn, but for ALL the wrong reasons.
People blaming Obama extensively for the racial tensions is not only incorrect, but dramatically ascribing powers to him that boggle the mind.
Do you really want to explore the problem of racism in America and the party of stupid bigots and virulent racists? Do you really want blame Obama for the way the racists have come out of the woodwork since he was elected? Do you really want to trot out the racist rationalizations that everyone in the GOP has learned since childhood to blame African-Americans for white supremacy?
Are you really prepared for this? How can Obama be blamed for some white people continuing to be racist. Stop trying to deflect from the fact that bigotry and hatred has infected conservatives. From Fox News, breitbart, daily caller, drudge report, WND your entire entertainment complex is 24/7 hate speech. The loudest voices on the Right are racist bigots, Trump, Coulter, Limbaugh, Hannity, O’Reily, Beck, Palin, Guiliani, Nugent.
Why is this a surprise? The idea that a black man was in the White House brought out the worst of the haters, egged on by the right wing media. The dog whistles and code words in plain view. Again, why is this a surprise?
If there’s one contribution toward race relations that Obama has made, it’s to reveal just how widespread and ugly white racism is in this country. The simple color of his skin brought white racists out of the woodwork by the millions. The revolting protest signs held by Tea Partiers and the blatantly racist diatribes on right-wing (i.e., hate) radio were just the tip of the iceberg. All this white-hot hate and fear was just waiting to show its face, and Obama’s election was the perfect opportunity.

No Obama is a decisive president, it is in his nature by being a community agitator and having spent 20 years in the pews listening to a race-baiter pastor like Rev. Wright.
When one becomes president, they become president of all people, not just some or the ones that you have an agenda with. I would suggest you take a look at when Nelson Mandela became president of South Africa. The popular thing for him to do and He resisted pressure from blacks to scrap the springbok. The Rugby team was a symbol of the past white power structure. Instead, he embraced it and brought a country (white and black) together. However, with the same opportunity, Barack Obama put a wedge between white and black, rich and poor. Sorry, he is a sorry excuse for a president, no matter what color he is.

If whites and Tea Party folks are so racists then how do you explain why they are backing Ben Carson for president? HMMM? And Ben Carson is a far greater % black, Obama is barely 23% black.

Obama is, without a doubt, the most destructive person to ever hold the office of POTUS. His hidden agenda in the mantra of “Hope and Change” was to destroy the country as we know it. He is working hard to keep his promise.
Allowing an invasion of illegal aliens across the Southern border from Central and South America was a part of his plan. Attacking the LE agencies in cities and towns via the DOJ was another part of the plan and in so doing he would unleash the criminal element to produce civil unrest and a crime wave so large that he hoped he could use Martial law to make himself dictator. He will succeed in that if congress doesn’t stop him.
For the first time in my life I am fearful of what will happen to the United States. The criminals will win if the people don’t put a stop to Obama and his evil administration.

It was not the GOP who had the agenda of division, that would have been Obama. Sorry, but there have been too many instances of it during his presidency.
Also, are blacks better off today than they were before Obama, nope a chance. All Obama has done has made the division greater between the rich and the poor because his policies have bolstered the Wall Street crown and provided no jobs or low pay ones.
Sorry, for once Obama needs to take responsibility for his actions. He has been a disaster.
