Dominic Casey, Anthony family PI denies finding Caylee’s remains prior to their actually discovery in December 2008. Casey denies PI Jim Hoovers’ allegations that Caylee’s body was discovered a month before its official discovery. Hoover states that he has videotaped the wooded area, and that the tape shows the toddler’s body wasn’t there at the time. Casey says, “Hoover is trying to sell the forage to various media organizations as proof that Caylee’s remains were not in the area in November. Casey said Hoover’s claims are false”
A former bodyguard for Casey Anthony has addressed accusations that he knew where Caylee Anthony’s remains were before they were found in December.
Dominic Casey, a private investigator, is still in the inner circle of the Anthony family and he has blasted reports that in November, while searching the area where Caylee’s remains were later found, he came across the remains himself.
“Had I the misfortune of stumbling across any remains the first thing I would have done is, I would have prayed,” Casey said. “The second thing I would have done is stayed at the location and called 911.”
Casey’s walk through the woods was recorded by another private investigator, James Hoover. Casey, along with multiple other sources, said Hoover is trying to sell the forage to various media organizations as proof that Caylee’s remains were not in the area in November. Casey said Hoover’s claims are false.

Yes, yes. Caylee’s case needs a little more circus. When will these people quit?
This is yet another bizarre twist in the case of Caylee Anthony’s murder.
Why would anyone be videotaping the heavily wooded area, where little Caylee’s remains were found, a month earlier?
Both PIs knew where Caylee’s remains were.
It make no sense to release this video after the fact, but it does help make Casey’s “nightmare defense team’s” job a little bit harder to prove her innocent.

maybe this thing with Hoover is far fetched we’ll have to see and wait. I doubt it because then he should have spoken out to the defense if he was on their side. Its confusing who is with who. Hope the anthonys do not get immunity. Lee is suspecious to me also. He’s a investigating for his sister on the side yet reluctantly gave his DNA and fingerprints. How funny is all that…..
Oh My God! You people are nuts. If that body was not there when he filmed it, then Lee put it there later. I think it was hidden under the brush and just maybe Mr Casey brought it out after he filmed or Lee was told to by Biaz. You are all indecent people. What are you trying to prove. I heard, on October 31,2008, from my niece who lives in the area that the body was found a few days prior to 10/31. I thought she was crazy because nothing was said by the media or the sheriff’s office. (I remember the date because my fahter in law had emergancy open heart surgery that day and we were all sitting in the waiting room when she told me). She said she was told by someone who “had connections”. My thought was, “Yeah right! You’re just trying to sound like you have some inside scoop.” Now I wonder if what she told us wasn’t true.

Why don’t you people get that Casey BURIED the bag with her daugther in it? She borrowed a shovel from her neighbor. Many things could have happened during the whatever months it took to find that bag. Animals could have dug it up…It could have been moved by weather…anything….

Casey was also picked up in that area when she ran out of gas…as a matter of fact within feet she was near where the body was found.
Tim Miller even said there was an indention in the ground that proves she had been there for a while. She was some 40 feet, about 30 yards into the woods amongst heavy heavy brush which detectives were using machete’s to clear.
It’s no use talking to idiots like Michelle when FACTS and evidence prove otherwise. SHe probably thinks Scott Peterson didn’t kill his wife either.
BTW, Michelle, how come none of the media outlets have bitten on this supposed tape by her PI? Because it’s bogus and because maybe he wasn’t filming in the exact spot, in fact he was some 600-800 feet away from that exact spot.
Casey even admitted in jail she could feel Caylee was “close by.”

How did it come to light there was a tape?
Is it true? Were they really at the site?
Leonard Padilla claims to have seen the tape but not sure I believe him.
Pax, from what I remember the Anthonys’ PIs were filming the area based on a tip from a friend of Casey’s. Not positive how accurate that is. Also remember the area filmed was not in the immediate area the bag was found.
I’m certain of reading where Orange Co investigator stated “they were very interested in viewing what the PIs had.” My concern is what tips weren’t turned over to LE gathered by Anthonys and their PIs? That would probably be why parents want immunity other than fact Cindy washed the pants with the smell of death on them. George stood by and allowed this. Bad all the way around.

god, I am watching Nancy Grace and they are showing this psychic, Body Hunter, and her video of a blind drive where she is feeling sick around the site and saying that they didn’t search well enough there.
Of course it’s too late for that but how many people overlooked or didn’t find her body,
I’m new here also,but cannot get this case off my mind. My question is-if the PI’s got a “tip” from one of Casey’s “friends” to search that particular area-no.1-WHAT FRIEND is this and WHY would they know to search there?? And why havnt the detectives brought this person in for questioning?And what DECENT person is this that supposedly “knew”the body might be there wouldn’t call the police themselves ?? Because we all know that Someone in the Anthony famiy KNEW and wanted her found. George was a COP- he knew from the moment he smelled the stench in that car. Cindy knew also when u could hear her ask Casey during the 911 call when she asked her”What Did You Do”? But she also wanted that baby back so badly that she was wiling to believe anything(for a while)that so iopathic Casey told her. But deep down she knew. Especially when she was found-Cindy knew for sure then. Whether she will stay in denial until the trial comes and goes remains to be seen. I do believe as we have seen many times before with mothers who kill their offspring, it is usually once they are convicted and know they will spend the rest of their lives in jail when they usually admit what they have done. Only time will tell. Poor little Caylee-I hope her mother gets what she deserves. Thanks for letting me vent.
I heard the same thing… the P.I. was filming the wrong area. Also the psychic that was in the area after the hurricane when the area where Caylee was would have been under water.
In my opinion, this is all a ploy to plant reasonable doubt into the minds of perspective jurors. From my point of view, it’s all over for Casey and if the rest of her family aren’t careful, they may find themselves behind bars, as well.

Lisa, sadly I fear Casey is similar to Scott Peterson in that she feels justified in her actions and is no more willing to take responsibility for herself than Cindy has been to realize her own daughter’s involvement. Would be nice if I were wrong and she eventually tells what she did to little Caylee.
As for the tip, if from a “friend”, I too have to wonder if it was really family (Lee). I still think he would be the only one privy to information from his sister while she was way from HopeSpring drive the weeks in June/July. My guess is both kids hid the truth from mom and dad….although dad knew and mom refused to accept while continuing to play games with LE.
Only other way a tip could have been from a friend is if she confided in one…which I seriously doubt or they’d have told by now (everyone is done with her crap she once hung with), or someone saw her in the area on foot which is not like Casey and mentioned it (remember someone saw her walking down the road and picked her up as she claimed she ran out of gas again?). That came out at one point since the body was found. Maybe this person went to LE once Caylee was discovered realizing Anthonys didn’t provide LE the tip at all!!!

I think the anthony’s sent that pi to video tape the area..The last area george went to look at that might have caylees body was the by he airport..I guess haveing someone video tape the area insures that your not seen their by the media again in the area… right george? If i remember correctly their was a report of george seen in near the woods in the back of his house..This was a very early report and never confirmed or commented on

I am also new, but like the rest of you, I continue to be very upset over all of this. The suffering of little Caylee seems to get jumbled in all of the mess. How disturbing to hear the Biaz sold videos and photos of little Caylee. So many seem to be seeking a profit or name from the death of this precious child. Some may disagree with me, but being a grandmother myself, I cannot imagine what George and Cindy are going thru. I am sure they had to know something but I cannot honestly say that I would not be in denial also. Guilt, remorse and the what-ifs would consum me.
Surely, after the trial we will have a better understanding of who knew what. One day you hear that the PI did video the area, but didn’t video the right section of the woods… then you hear that he knew where the body was. So confusing…
I wonder if George Anthony the “COP” were to experience this odor coming from someone else’s car would he call authorities ASAP or wait until about a month later. I assume when he was sworn in under oath he should’ve done something sooner as a responsible cop and father and grandfather. And why would Cindy the “NURSE” wash clothing that came from a car that smelled like a dead body? George knew for sure this was tampering with evidence. Especially since thier granddaughter wasn’t seen by them in a month! (supposedly) I think the whole family needs to be punished for the crimes and cover ups for the murder of this little ANGEL. It is very apparent that they knew what she did and they had to dispose of her and rehearse thier lines for a month before reporting her missing. I think Casey is blackmailing her parents! (we all know they are not honest) And also I think ANY ONE profitting from her death in any way should be punished to the MAX!
This is just crazy.. I think if the mother is found guilty she deserves the death penalty, they withdrew it too quickly. This P.I. or Hoover one of them is lying. Either the P.I. trying to protect the family for some reason … or Hoover trying to make a buck off of it.
If people keep it up this whole case will be blotched and Caylee wont get the justice she deserves. That girl was a beautiful precious child and if anyone that was close to them knew she could have been in danger or not loved as she should have, someone should have stepped up!!
P.I. is lying. Video tape leaked & now it contradicts his statments given to police. What about obstruction of justice??? Good God, how many people involved have now obstructed justice? Baez? Cindy? Michelle – I know you are trying to use logic as you discuss how the body got there after the P.I.’s video. First, how did the Anthony’s P.I. know where to look? Strange that the only video of him looking is in the spot where the body was eventually found. Second, who does Hoover work for? Could Hoover be on the Baez payroll & be releasing the tape to establish that Cindy, Lee and George knew more than they admitted to police? Could that be how Baez is trying to link the Cindy, lee and George to the crime scene to create doubt about Casey? It doesn’t matter if the body was found on that very tape – the bottom line is the Anthony’s P.I. went to a specific area where the body was eventually found – clearly destroying the credibility of Cindy, Lee and George. Baez is tricky like that…
It’s sad to me how people are judging P.I. Dominic Casey so harshly without knowing anything about the facts, only speculation. Dominic has not been shown to have done anything wrong, yet I’ve read such harsh things about him all over the web. Regarding all of the “players” in this sad case – they are all real people with feelings and emotions like the rest of us. I wish people would with-hold judgement until the facts come out. I do not believe Dominic is lying, however I tend to believe the best in people. I realize this case touches on all of our emotions and is easy to get caught up in. I just hope people will remember that we don’t have all of the facts, just a lot of speculation – particularly regarding the P.I.’s, and others involved in this case. Thanks for listening, Julie

There are so many emotions that run strong when it comes to this case. Casey……..may she get everything she deserves. I personally fell that someone needs to put tape over her mouth, stuff her into a trash bag, and throw her out to rot in a cold, dark, deserted area. Life in prison or the death penalty is far to easy a punishment for this skank. Life in prison……..do us all a favor and put her in general population, we’ll see how cute she thinks she is then. The death penalty……….why should the tax payers dollar provide 3 hots and a cot for the next 25 years? Give me break……get rid of her. May she rot in hell!! The grandparents? Abstruction of justice. All they have done over the past 6 months is protect, defend, enable and make excuses for that piece of shit they call a daughter. As far as I’m concerned, George and Cindy have no rights to have funeral services for this child. The fact that her remains are still in a cardboard box proves that point. The community, residents, volunteers and workers who searched day and night for 6 months for this little girl have earned the right to lay this child to rest…………as a community. I have seen more grief and compassion come from these individuals than the Anthony family. Wow. Michelle, (not New Girl) you are truly a whack job. Not only have you twisted everyone’s statements, but you also referred to all the other posters as “indecent” and “sick”. Other than that, your post basically appears to have been written by a six year-old. So I agree with other posters that you should, indeed, take your meds, but you should also leave posting to the grown-ups.
What ALL of you are missing is that Florida STATE LAW protects ALL of a PI’s records and NO ONE can subpoena or otherwise force a PI to have to reveal anything about his records with the single exception of the department that issues the license and THEN even THEY have to know a specific item to subpoena they can not use a blanket subpoena to view any record(s) other than one specific thing they have specific knowledge about.
So despite all of the conjecture, this PI is NOT hiding anything and is only rightfully protecting his records
NO JUDGE, NO COURT or any other agency or person has ANY authority to demand to see ANY of a PI’s records. NO LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY or officer can view or otherwise touch his records. PERIOD. NONE of his records.

Casey told Baez where 2 find Caylee, he sent Dominic to find her remains, Dominic Casey got the cooperation of Cindy Anthony, but Roy Cronk found her first? Or did he? Did Baez’s people find her first and manipulate the sceen?
