Southwest Airlines has lost their game of chicken with 23 year old Hooter waitress and 
Mesa College student Kyla Ebbert. Southwest Airlines and their fashion police first tried to boot Miss Ebbert from their plane for being inappropriately dress and then claimed they had done nothing wrong.
Southwest explained its treatment of Ebbert in a letter to her mother, saying it could remove any passenger “whose clothing is lewd, obscene or patently offensive” to ensure the comfort of children and “adults with heightened sensitivities.”
However, it would also appear that now Southwest Airlines wants to exploit and make money off their indiscretion of trying to kick a passenger off its plane. Southwest who first defended their position now will exploit the media opportunity to create an ad campaign from it, Southwest Airlines ‘Skimpy’ Fare Sale. What a bunch of people you have working for this company, ready to exploit anything to your advantage. Anything to make a buck at Southwest Airlines, even if it means going against something their original statements.
First Southwest is gung-ho to boot some one off their plane, then when they realize that it was not a popular idea, they turn around and give a half-hearted apology with a PR string attached. Check out the Southwest Airlines blog and see what they are saying there.
The airline on Friday offered 23-year-old Kyla Ebbert two free round-trip tickets and issued a double-entendre-laced news release announcing “skimpy” sale fares of $49 to $109 each way, available for 10 days.
It appears that Southwest Airlines has changed their tune and has apoligized to Kyla Ebbert for their over-reaction to her attire.
Southwest Airlines Co. says it is apologizing to a young California woman who was told her outfit was too skimpy to fly, and it’s using the brouhaha as a marketing ploy — announcing a “miniskirt fare sale.”
The aggrieved woman, Kyla Ebbert, took her case Friday to “The Dr. Phil Show.” Host Phil McGraw read an apology from Southwest Chief Executive Gary Kelly during the show, which is scheduled to air Tuesday.
Ebbert said she was on a Southwest plane ready to take off from San Diego on July 3 when an airline employee asked her to change her miniskirt, top and sweater or get off.
In a compromise, the 23-year-old was allowed to stay on the flight to Tucson, Ariz., after pulling her skirt down and her top up. (FOX)
UPDATE I: Southwest ‘Cover’ Girl Is Still Angry
It appears that Kyla Ebbert is still upset over Southwest Airlines and their actions following their treatment over the “skimpy outfit” affair. Kyla feels like she is being victimized again as Southwest makes light of the incident and does a “skimpy fares” ad campaign.
The woman who was singled out by Southwest Airlines for wearing an outfit deemed too skimpy by a flight attendant says she’s been victimized a second time by the airline’s new ad campaign.
Kyla Ebbert was reacting to Southwest’s new “skimpy fares” ad campaign, offering lower prices to for a limited period.
“They are exploiting me again by using my traumatic experience as a marketing ploy,” Ebbert told ABC News.
Southwest Airlines spokeswoman Marilee McInnis says the campaign makes light of an incident that was an embarrassment for the airline. (ABC News)

It has been many years since I last rode an airliner,and everyday I see another reason not to ever ride one again.
She should sue the pants off SW airlines. Big American Corporation dont care unless it hits them in the deep pockets… I hope she does ..
I was expecting to see a picture of a woman who NEEDED to cover up. Who asked her to do so? A fat/sloppy, wrinkly/ugly (jealous) stewardess?

As a former flight attendant I can attest that as soon as she stowed her luggage overhead everyone saw the goods. If my uniform skirt was ever 2inches above the knee lifting my arms was not an option. Her skirt became a belt as soon as she lifted her arms…why should everyone view that?!
