Oops, Charlotte Democrat Law Maker Becky Carney Mistaken Vote Overrides North Carolina Gov. Perdue’s Veto and Passes Fracking Law
WANNA GET AWAY? LOOKS LIKE NC DEMOCRAT LAW MAKER WILL SOON BE MAKING A SOUTHWEST AIRLINE AD … Becky Carney accidentally pushes the wrong button and makes an energy exploration bill a law.
File this one under, she was against it, before she mistakenly voted for it … North Carolina Democrat law maker Becky Carney mistakenly voted to override NC Democrat Gov. Bev Perdue’s veto on a bill to advance natural gas exploration with the use of fracking. The only problem is, she is against the bill. Just days earlier Carney voted against the bill, now her deciding vote approved the bill into law. She actually pushed the wrong button OOOPS … Wanna get away? The interesting aspect of her erroneous fracking vote is that it will be a benefit to many North Carolinians for jobs and energy.
The look on her face said it all.
Charlotte Democrat Becky Carney stood on the House floor Monday night with her mouth agape. She looked horrified. Embarrassed. Sick to her stomach.
Moments earlier, she cast the deciding vote to override Gov. Bev Perdue’s veto on a bill to advance natural gas exploration. The problem? She opposed the bill. Voted against it days earlier. And now she made it law.
Yes, the state of North Carolina approved fracking, one of the most controversial pieces of legislation this year, by accident.
Upon realizing her mistakes she tried to change her vote; however, North Carolina House rules prevent such a change from being made when the change of a vote affects the outcome. Sorry, but if a law maker cannot differentiate red for green, I would hate to be at a traffic intersection with them.

LOL!!!!
The House rules saved the day.
What do a bunch of politicians know about fracking? Nothing, but the environmentalists have swayed their thinking by taking advantage of ignorance.
