Google adds YouTube to its stable. Agreements with media companies aside, the threat of copyright infringement lawsuits will always be there. As long as there is a lawyer, there is a potential lawsuit.
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – Internet search leader Google is snapping up YouTube for $1.65 billion, brushing aside copyright concerns to seize a starring role in the online video revolution.
It came just a few hours after YouTube unveiled three separate agreements with media companies to counter the threat of copyright-infringement lawsuits.

The problem won’t be with the “major” media companies — it will be with the thousands of “small” ones that will sue over copyright infringement! Surely Google has thought this all out!?!
