Debra LaFave; Charges Dropped in Marion County

 

Welcome to the world of double standards. Assistant State Attorney Richard Lafave 4Ridgway, dropped the charges stating he did so at the “well-being of the victim” That being said to continue to allow these soft penalties on females and teachers no less only emboldens them. There is no penalty for the crime. That’s what out legal system is putting forth. Imagine if this was a man having sex with a 14 year old girl? OK, imagine its in a state other than in VT or OH. If this was about the “well being” of the victim, one wonders whether there will be a civil case where the victim might testify?
