Newt Gingrich calls the Obama Socialist, Progressive regime as much of a treat to America as Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union.
If the show fits, wear it. There was a time when this would have been considered outlandish; however, even FNS Chris Wallace is corrected in his typical MSM mindset by Newt. Gingrich is not comparing Obama and Dems to Nazi’s in the phyical sense, he is comparing the threat that Nazi Germany and the USSR represented in history to the United States.
One really needs to view to the full context of the VIDEO interview to understand and agree that Newt is correct.

Wallace: You also write this on the screen: “The secular socialist machine represents as great a threat to America as Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union once did.” Mr. Speaker, respectfully, isn’t that wildly over the top?
Gingrich: No, not if by America you mean….Just listen to President Obama’s language. He gets to decide who earns how much. He gets to decide when it’s too much.
Wallace: We’re not talking about any company. We’re talking about companies that the government has put billions of dollars in…
Gingrich: No, no..he has said publicly and generically. Some Americans earn too much. So now he’s going to decide that?
Wallace: No, he’s not. He has said that some Americans earn too much.
Gingrich: …As a threat to our American way of life. The secular-socialist left represents a fundamental replacement of America, a very different world view, a very different outcome. I think is a very serious threat to our way of life.

I agree with Newt Gingrich.
Gingrick along with McCain and other Republican politicians had a responsiblity in the last election to speak out and warn those Americans who did not get it. Where was their voices then.
The media made talk show hosts Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh lonely voices out to be right wing fanatic.
I don’t undestand the hypocracy.

When a woman referred to Obama yesterday as “an Arab,” McCain cut her off and seized the microphone from her hands. “No, ma’am,” he interjected. “He is a decent family man with whom I happen to have some disagreements.” In fact, the most rousing applause of the afternoon came not for McCain, but for one of several questioners who appealed to the candidate to “fight” in next Wednesday’s final debate with Obama.
“If you want a fight, we will fight,” McCain replied. “But we will be respectful. I admire Senator Obama and his accomplishments. I don’t mean that has to reduce your ferocity. I just mean to say you have to be respectful.”

Why doesn’t this man just go home and stay? He got a taste for power while he was in Congress, and apparently he has grieved over his loss ever since. For heaven’s sake, he couldn’t even beat Sarah Palin in the straw poll! I for one am so tired of seeing and hearing him.
