President Obama States Will Not Take Advice from Sarah Palin on Nuclear Strategy … How About from We the People?

Welcome to Obamaland, Barack Obama … Lost in Smallness, again. Worse yet … Obama shows just how weak he is on US National Defense.

Oh how Sarahcuda gets under Obama’s skin … Have we ever seen such a thin skinned President before, so reactionary to any form of criticism? Has Obama ever been told no before?

How small is Barack Obama as a President and just how big is Sarah Palin as a threat to the Democrat Party? Obama’s need to respond to former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s comments regarding Obama’s shift in nuclear strategy purely shows just how big Sarah Palin has become to Obama and Democrats.

Sarah Palin criticized Obama’s new national defense policies as he if there was an attack (nuclear, biological or cyber) with a country belonging to the non-proliferation treaty, the US will not retaliate with nuclear weapons.  Isn’t the federal governments number one job, National Security?

“Punch me in the face and I wont retaliate”

One of the other remarks made by Sarah Palin was that,  no administration in American history would support such a policy. She is correct.

Obama felt the need to reference Pali’s name on the international stage regarding his recent and controversial change in nuclear disarmament and how we would attack other countries if attacked.

President Barack Obama on Thursday made clear he was not going to take advice from Republican Sarah Palin when it comes to decisions about the U.S. nuclear arsenal.

Palin, the former vice presidential candidate, has not been shy about criticizing Obama’s policies and this week weighed in on his revamped nuclear strategy, saying it was like a child in a playground who says ‘punch me in the face, I’m not going to retaliate.’

“I really have no response to that. The last I checked, Sarah Palin is not much of an expert on nuclear issues,” Obama said in an interview with ABC News.

Hmm, is Secretary of Defense Robert Gates really fully on board the new limits placed on our nuclear retaliation?

What is becoming all too apparent is the following observation from Instapundit,
“If only he hated America’s enemies half as much . . . .”

Jammie Wearing Fool nails it!!! Barack Hussein Obama has finally found an enemy.  He bows to Muslim leaders, he shakes hands with the likes of Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, he refuses to call/bans the term Muslim terrorists radical Muslim extremists … but Obama has no problem going after Sarah Palin. Obama has cow-tailed down to Iran, North Korea and now Islamic extremists, but he gets all bad with himself when it comes to taking on Sarah Palin. Gee Mr. President, maybe you should take her advice taking a look at your poll numbers lately.

Maybe Obama would like to take the advice of the American people? 55% of the American people oppose President Obama’s new policy prohibiting the use of nuclear weapons in response to chemical or biological attacks on the United States.

That’s right, Obama could care less what the American people say. We saw that transpire during the Obamacare debate. This President does not believe in a government of, by and for the People … It’s all about his radical agenda.

The Gateway Pundit reminds us that Obama was an anti-war nut in college too.

Conservatives never cease to amaze me. How many nuclear weapons does the U.S. need? Even with the cuts, we’d still have enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world many times over.

Don’t worry. Republicans will gain control at someone undetermined point in the future, and they will be able to start another senseless war, kill Americans, and spy on people’s phone calls and emails.

My father taught me when a person makes a truthful statement about their opponent and are then attacked from the other side rather than the other side simply pointing out where they disagree, it means the accusers have something to hide and/or have been intimidated that the truth has been revealed.

Sounds exactly right to me based on Obama’s reaction.

“From We the People”…. If the people you are referring to are educated about world nuclear strategies and the implications of the START treaty. As President, Obama doesn’t have to listen to the people when it comes down to issues, especially issues of national security. That’s what the House of Representatives is for. If there is a major problem with this that a large base of the American people agree with, then its up to the House to make it known and do something about it, not the President. And in the end we will see how much the “people” are against President Obama when 2012 elections come around, and if the “people” really don’t want him, he wont’ make it into a second term, otherwise President Obama will be head of state until 2016.

#3 It doesn’t matter how many nuclear weapons are needed if we can’t use them to defend ourselves. That’s the point we are trying to make. You are totally missing the point.

BTW, this is Obama’s war now. How’s that working out for you? Don’t see him bringing the troops home, do you?

One more thing you might want to educate yourself on is that they only listened in on phone calls originating from terrorist countries. They were not listening in on mine or your phone calls unless you were suspected of being a terrorist. You have been listening to too much liberal propaganda and don’t see the truth.

I also, don’t know where you get the idea that Republicans are war mongers. Do you just make this stuff up? Hmmm; how should he respond when asked about (half-governor) Palin; I know . . . he can use her name because that would be the respectful thing to do (as long as he is truthful in his answer).

Can anyone prove what Obama said was not true?

OMG; the right can get all too silly about the most mundane of topics (I almost said issue, but that would be lying).

And as usual, all the usual suspects proudly step out, front and center, to demonstrate the level of their critical thinking abilities, and how clever they are with the turn of a phrase.

I’m going to pause and wait for their abundant ability to put several words together in (almost) a sentence that has nothing at all to do with the original post or the substance of my comments. And yet, comment on nothing they will.

      Michelle (#4),

You’ve asked the wrong question; you should have asked:

And what makes her such an expert on nuclear issues?

After all, she left politics as half-governor of Alaska, with only 1 (2?) prior term as a small-medium city mayor. Her prior comments in the VP debate on nuclear (which she repeatedly pronounces “nukular”) was awful messy and not at all an answer to her question. What has she done since then to become more aware of this topic (other than reading all the newspapers)?

Obama, on the other hand, has been president-elect and president for over 17 months, during which time he has assuredly met and discussed this topic on many occasions. He has experts in the various gov agencies and departments that can and do provide him data on some form of regular basis. He has a staff that can and does focus on these issues, which they certainly discuss regularly.

Sounds like someone that is prepared and able to respond and execute their duty to the country in this matter.

Although the right might mislead people when discussing the nuclear policy Obama announced, I don’t think they are trying to say what you’ve referred to.

In a nutshell, the policy is to only use a nuclear response against those who have used a nuclear weapon. In your comments, that would include Iran and N. Korea.

#15 – Was Harry Truman, the only person to use nukes, a Democrat or Republican? Maybe you can “use the google” and let us know #15.

You folks must really think Ronald Reagan was a “pansy”:

“A nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought. And no matter how great the obstacles may seem, we must never stop our efforts to reduce the weapons of war. We must never stop at all until we see the day when nuclear arms have been banished from the face of this Earth.” Ronald Reagan (1984)

Here’s what George Shultz (Sec of State under Reagan) said about President Obama’s landmark treaty:
“What he’s proceeding toward is trying to get to a world free of nuclear weapons. And how do you do that? You take a series of steps. First of all, since most nuclear weapons that exist are in the hands of Russia and the United States, you’ve got to start there. And since the START Treaty that was proposed by President Reagan expired last December, it’s important to get it replaced with a treaty that has verification permissions in it and continuous investigations.”

I think George Shultz has a bit more credibility on this than you do #15.

Haha #15 – gee, I wonder where anyone would get the idea republicans are war mongers….when you state that conflicts can only be solved by violence. Think before you type next time #15…classic! Lol.

#22–YoYo —-Let’s sum this up for you in an elementary fashion, ok?

Sarah Palin hit the nail on the head when she summized that THE MAJORITY OF AMERICANS are really NOT COMFORTABLE with President Obama’s INEXPERIENCE when it comes to foriegn policy or nuclear weapons. What the hell does a former Community Organizer know about nuclear weapons? Zilch!!!! He’s dangerous for this Country simply because his COMPLETE LACK OF EXPERIENCE in this area and it is painfully obvious.

Also, you never answered #15′s question about how OBAMA’s WAR is working out for us??????? So how do you think the waffler is doing on it overall? Remember his CAMPAIGN PROMISE to begin bringing home troops upon his first 90-days in office if elected? Oh, yeah —–that’s right. When the IDIOT figured out that wasn’t a feasible or realistic plan at all—he vascillated and instead ordered a surge in troops. The same thing he vilified his opponents for.

Take your little diatribe on nukes and stick it where the sun doesn’t shine, YoYo. You are about as clueless as our misaligned Commander in Chief.

She can bash obama all she wants. She is in a way right…he has little experience. But what about Bush? He sent hundreds of thousands to war…killed thousands..and he never set foot on a battle ground. In fact his daddy saved him from going. What kinda spine is that? Gutless wonder.
The point is they (Dem. or Rep.) don’t have experience in every field..that’s why they listen to the people in the top. Which is what obama did in this case. What would Palin do? 100 % the same thing. And like I mentioned before…he took the advice from a republican appointed top man. So what do you have to say about that? Is he wrong? Did Obama force him to make the call?
I think you’re the clueless one. Go Worship the Palin trail..which will lead you to the same place that bridge she once supported when she was actually a gov…..to no where

    28. NewGirlBoston on April 10th, 2010 11:37 am

Wolf—for your information- I don’t worship Sarah Palin or anyone. While GWB made his share of mistakes—I was agreeing that was Palin was saying about Obama’s inexperience was true.

Until you, personally, Wolf can walk inside of ANY President’s shoes and make the hard calls and decisions they need to in that final hour—I don’t see how you can call Bush’s decision atrocious. Are you an American Citizen? How soon you forget what TERRORIST ACTS ON OUR OWN SOIL did to lead him to that day? You cannot and will not ever convince me that NO ACTION TAKEN is the answer. No way in hell. We lost almost 4,000 American lives on that day and GWB did EVERY NATION a favor the day that Saddam Hussien was captured and flushed out of his little hole in the ground.

So, screw you for giving me a sweeping generalization and screw you also for not standing proud as an American ready to defend our Nation and stand behind those who fight for the freedoms and liberties you apparently seem to take for granted. Don’t you dare preach to me because you have some internal hatred for the Bush family. Again, I’m not going to say he was a perfect President but I am not down for those who blame him for everything! I would rather concentrate on the positive things he did while in office. Quit your crying. This is not so much about party affiliation as it is about standing up for what you believe in and not letting extreme terrorists alter our life style and that of other countries enough so they think they are in complete control.

I’m a registered Independent- I supported what GWB did post 9/11 and I still support that decision now.

    29. Wisconsin Resident on April 10th, 2010 6:15 pm

      NGB – #28,

In case you forgot, although Bush and company did everything they could to try and convince the American people that 9-11 (the attack you mention) had no connection to Iraq and Saddam Hussein. In the UK, the Chilcot Inquiry hearings have produced very clear evidence as to what they and the US were doing as far as to the planning surrounding the Iraq war.

If fact, the Bush propaganda (lying?) on Saddam was so good, that long after the invasion, 60-70% of Americans still believed there was a connection. Perhaps you are still in that group.

As far as Bush not being a “perfect” president; wow, you would really have to stretch deep to even begin to consider him a “good” president.

Lets see: 9-11, Iraq (invasion and US/Iraqi deaths), Katrina, spectacular financial collapse, domestic spying & wiretapping, torture, Medicare drug program (donut hole and cost overruns), off-budget spending, tax-breaks for the wealthy (paid for w/debt to China), lack of economic growth (Lost Decade), from budgets surplus to huge deficits, US Attorney scandal, environmental damage (mines, etc.), non-science philosophy, lack of attention to global climate change, Plame CIA outing (accountability, if not criminality), No Child Left Behind, corporations over people, military record, Terry Schiavo, etc. Even his business record was multi-failure (except for the sweet-heart deal in baseball).

Now, you may think and even claim that I “hate” Bush, which is not true. I do absolutely believe that his policies were dangerous to America, and he had little understanding, if not regard, for the real situation citizens face in our daily lives. He was out of touch, and yet always seemed to present himself as the friendly fellow down at the end of the bar. People would always say he would be a nice gut to have a drink with, even though he was an alcoholic. Despite his down-home Texan affectations, in fact he was an upper class elite from a very well connected New England family.

I accept that others are entitled to their own opinions of Bush, that would be none of my business.

      WR

    30. Michelle on April 10th, 2010 6:23 pm

I’m not wasting my time responding to YoYo because well he will never understand it anyway.

#19 I never said she was an expert but she sure as hell has more experience than the Community Organizer. You posted “Obama, on the other hand, has been president-elect and president for over 17 months, during which time he has assuredly met and discussed this topic on many occasions. He has experts in the various gov agencies and departments that can and do provide him data on some form of regular basis. He has a staff that can and does focus on these issues, which they certainly discuss regularly.” hmmmm….okay, so why is he the only President who thinks this is a good idea? Don’t you think other Presidents before him had experts in various government agencies and departments that provided them with data on some form of regular basis? Funny how this administration is the only one that has decided we don’t need to defend ourselves against our enemies.

You also posted “Sounds like someone that is prepared and able to respond and execute their duty to the country in this matter.”

The duty of the Government is to protect this Country from enemies foreign & domestic. How do you propose we do that when he has already stated, we are not going to retaliate?

Sarah Palin, like most of the American people are not comfortable with Obama & his weak ass policies. We do not feel safe. That is the main job of the Government, to keep us safe.

    31. Wisconsin Resident on April 10th, 2010 9:58 pm

      #30,

Well, I’ll try again: is Palin an expert or not?

Why is it so damn hard for you to give the obvious answer to this question? Do you think her answer during the VP debate on nuclear issues was anything but laughable? If you want to compare Obama to Palin, be prepared to stand up for your side. I will, and am proud to do so.

Do you really think that mayoral experience and 1/2 term as governor of a small state compares to serving as a state representative (big state), 2 yrs in the Senate (big state), and 17 months presidential experience as Obama has (as well as having an advanced law degree)? Remember that a yes answer will send us a clear sign on level of critical thinking you possess. I dare any sane person to rationally try and make the case that Sarah Palin has any competency in this regard; she can’t even pronounce the fricking word NUCLEAR!!

And why are you and others so fixated on a single job that Obama had years ago (I heard that Mitt Romney was just a paper boy, and Michelle Bachmann sold lemonade)? As most people who’ve been paying attention know, he’s moved on to a few new jobs since then. Wake up and welcome to the 21st century! By your “logic” (if I can call it that), Palin was not qualified for any government position because she was just a basketball player and pageant contestant winner. Would that be a fair and balance argument to make?

As to your comments on whether or not other presidents have thought of this before, I say: so what! For every new idea there has to be a first person to discover said idea. Are you saying that any idea that a president (or any other office holder) offers as policy has to have already been discussed or offered by someone else beforehand? Let me tell you, you’ve got a slight paradox here, in that there must always be someone else speaking first with an idea. That someone else also needs someone else, and so on. Eventually, there was never a first person to begin the chain of ideas. This kind of thinking (?) is totally illogical and therefore impossible. So, I guess I’m good with Obama offering this policy for the first time. Thanks for asking.

I must also say that I’m very comfortable with the job this administration is doing to protect all Americans. Surprisingly, I don’t always agree with the policies, but that just shows I can think for myself.

I really have no clue what must scare so many people like you (as you say). Unless it is all the “scary” pumped-up false rhetoric from right-wing pundits and “news” shows. The reality of the stories they carry is about as truthful as the monsters on Halloween. I’ve grown up since then.

#31 So in other words, you think it’s okay to say go ahead and attack us, we will not retaliate? Gotcha!

And to answer your question. No, Sarah Palin is not an expert. Barack Hussein Obama is not an expert.

I have no problem with new ideas. I have a problem with ideas that I and the majority of Americans think is dangerous.

Yes Obama has been President for 17 months and what has he done during that time besides take vacations, bowl, play basketball, golf and ram a healthcare plan that the People did not want down our throats? He should be concentrating on jobs & helping the economy.

Why are we even discussing nuclear weapons at this point?

I am prepared to stand up for my side. A state Representative who accomplished what exactly? A Senator who voted present the majority of the time because he couldn’t make a yes or no decision. Yea, that’s experience alright.

You can’t be serious. Alaska a small state. Where have you been? You seriously think Illinois is a large state? So having been President for 17 months qualifies him to make decisions concerning nuclear weapons?

And who cares how she pronounces the word. So now you want to attack how she speaks? How about having a presidential candidate who thinks we have 57 states? or a Presidents who can pronounce corpsmen? See now you are nitpicking.

I am not a Sarah Palin worshiper nor do I think she’s ready to be President but I do agree with her statements concerning the nuklar weapons.

It is not right wing propaganda as you call it, that has us scared. It’s the ignorance of this administration that has us scared.

Why do we need to limit the use of our nuclear weapons? When was the last time we nuked anyone? Are we a threat to others?

Do you really believe that Saddam Hussein did not have weapons of mass destruction? If you believe that then you need to join the 21st Century and stop living in Fantasy Land. This is not a peaceful world we live in and there are radical extremists that will never be peaceful.

    34. Dolf on April 11th, 2010 4:49 pm

Michelle, nowhere did he say; if you attack us we won’t attack back and the US armed forces do not need nukes to wreak havoc.

So why is it wrong to give a global message about reducing the nuke threat?
You still have enough to blow us sky high 100 times (the US alone, not counting Russian, Chinees, Israeli, Pakistan, Indian, English, Frence and North Korean nukes).

    35. Dolf on April 11th, 2010 4:56 pm

      he used to

But as it turned out he was bluffing that he had them, so he could control the population and improve stature abroad.

      Bad bluff.

First I wasn’t typing to you, but since you’ve decided to stick your nose in again, I’ll answer you. What happened to Japan when they attacked Pearl Harbor? Did they do that shit again?

So what did Obama say about limiting the use of nuclear weapons?

I’m sure you know more than Sarah Palin and the majority of Americans.

      #33,

#’s below refer to your commentary paragraphs.

#1 – Gotcha? At no time did the President or I say it was OK for anyone to attack us. What are you smoking?

#2 – Agree. Disagree. Am willing to change my mind if any actual evidence is presented; else there is nothing more to say. BTW, I guess you think you are clever in using Obama’s full name here; does his name itself scare you or do you think it scores political points whenever its used? Or, perhaps you simply have a fetish for middle names.

#3 – How do you know of this “majority”? What specifically has changed to present this danger? You may want to make sure you fully understand pp15-16 of the April 2010 NPR before answering.

#4 – Is this all you can glean from the presidents daily schedules? You really aren’t much of an investigator, I guess.

#5 – Perhaps because “The Nuclear Posture Review is a legislatively-mandated review that establishes U.S. nuclear policy, strategy, capabilities and force posture for the next five to ten years.” Or maybe just to piss you off.

#6 – Of course you can provide evidence for your voting record claim (and I’m sure you will, also). The only mentions I found were around 130-150 “present” votes out of 4000 cast (over 8 years). Maybe you just think those numbers represent a “majority”, or indicate indecision.

#7 – From 2008 Census data: Alaska ranked 47th with 1.2 people/sq. mile – Illinois ranked 5th with 232.1 people/sq. mile. According to Wikipedia (2009 data): Illinois with 12,910,409 people – Alaska with 698,473 (IL 18.5 times the size of AK). Oh, were you thinking area? I always though of politicians primarily in relation to people (voters), not land. As to your question; Yes.

#8 – I think the ability to speak the language is a sign of intelligence; if she cared about the issue she would learn the language. We all know what Obama said, which was not, of course that there are 57 states. Obviously, this one time mix-up as part of a long and tiresome campaign is not a credible sign that Obama doesn’t know how many stares there are. On the other hand, Palin mispronounces nuclear every stinking time, possibly as her homage to “W”.

#9 – OK; fine with me.

#10 – I’m glad to hear you agree with me on the existence of the “scary” pumped-up false rhetoric from right-wing pundits and “news” shows, also that it doesn’t scare you personally. Bravo. Now we’ll need your help if we ever want to understand what the “ignorance” thing is, although this forum is not best suited for such a long and detailed explanation that would be needed. Perhaps you could find some simple talking points to educate us.

#11 – My guess is that Obama sees some value with what Reagan said: the need to eliminate all nuclear weapons from the world. As follow-on to Reagan’s START treaty (and Bush-41 START II), this new agreement continues down the same path. He may also feel comfortable in the 1500+ weapons stockpile we retain, and the strategy of the NRP conclusions.

#12 – As of 2001, it is undeniable that Hussein had no WMD (unless you can recall the pictures and stories from the magical day when they were found). Back in the real world; when the weapons inspectors got back into Iraq in late 2002(early 2003?) they were finding old weapon remnants, and were successfully destroying them. When Bush decided to invade anyways in spring 2003, they had to be pulled as a safety measure. Had they remained, their successful mission would have completed (likely long before now). Additionally, over 4000 Americans would still be alive and thousands more would not have suffered serious and often life-challenging wounds. Not to mention the horrendous toll on innocent Iraqi civilians who died or were forced to leave the country by the millions.

I agree that the world is not always peaceful, and there are radical extremists that that will never be peaceful. I’m also not afraid. I was not afraid of possible attacks after 9-11, as I was more likely to have an auto accident (even non-fatal) than be affected by any extremists. Living a daily life in fear is irrational if the threat has no probability of occurring to any individual. A lot of bad, harmful things can happen in our world, but everyday fear won’t change their happening (neither will plastic and duct tape).

      Japan got defeated.
they would have been without nukes too.

Sarah Palin is an idiot. If you want her to have any say about our nuclear arsenal, you’re an idiot, too.

      Michele,

In #4, you: He is a danger to the safety of this Country. He must go.

In #41, Brad: Sarah Palin is an idiot. If you want her to have any say about our nuclear arsenal, you’re an idiot, too.

How are these anything but individual opinions, each as valid as the next for a person to have?

      Aren’t you being somewhat hypocritical?

In reality, shouldn’t you respond to yourself:

Wow! Thanks for your intelligent post. Do you have anything of significance to offer.

    44. Michelle Smith on April 12th, 2010 2:11 pm

#43 No, I’ve already explained why Obama is dangerous and why he needs to go.

#41 Just made a statement with nothing to back that up. Not why she is an idiot or why I shouldn’t agree with what she says.

Whether you agree or disagree with My Opinion, I at least gave reason for My Opinion. Where as #41 just says, she’s an idiot.

Really? Why because you said so or do you actually have any intelligent reasoning.

So because I agree with her comments, I’m an idiot. Because my opinion differs from yours or his i’m an idiot.

That’s fine, think what you want. I stand by My Opinion and I gave reasons for my decision.

    45. Michelle Smith on April 12th, 2010 2:57 pm

#39 Barack Hussein Obama is his legal name and the name he used when sworn in, so what would you have me call him Barry?

Majority is more than 50%. So I would say yes, the majority of the American people agree with Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin does speak the language. She pronounced the word nuclear differently than you, so that makes her unintelligent? Then I guess Barack Obama is unintelligent because he pronounced the word corpsman wrong several times. Regardless of what you think he meant, he did in fact say 57 states. So if you are going to nitpick over he mispronouncing a word then let’s talk about Obama’s slip ups. The bottom line is he never defended his stance on the nuclear weapon’s policy.

Also, I didn’t realize that as a Governor of a state you only governed the parts where people live. I was under the impression that you governed the whole state and not just parts of the state.

My point, was that during Obama’s terms as Senator
he was indecisive at least 150 times of key issues and 6 times he pushed the wrong button (so I was wrong about it being the majority but seriously, make a yes or no decision). How hard is it to pick yes or no?

You are correct, I’m not an investigator but I can say this, he seems to have a lot of leisure time and people are still unemployed, the economy is still a mess and the troops are still not home.

He has spent more time apologizing for the U.S. and bowing to everyone under the sun than he has improving things here, in America.

      #44,
Well, back in #4 you didn’t explain anything, just like #41 hadn’t. You see, I was comparing apples with apples, and followed these posts to their logical conclusions. That is what I refer to as critical thinking or intelligent reasoning, in your words.

It all comes down to the problem of using opinions as debate points; everyone is entitled to their own opinion (but not their own facts). If your #42 post is valid against #41′s opinion, it’s also valid against your #4 opinion. Pure logical reasoning.

The fact that you later explained your opinion doesn’t change the fact of what type of response is logically applicable to the earlier #4 post. Time and logic can be complicated sometimes.

So because I agree with her comments, I’m an idiot. Because my opinion differs from yours or his i’m an idiot. It’s not for me to say if you are or aren’t an idiot, as response to these comments. However, according to logic, Brad is of the opinion that someone (whoever is meant by “you”) is an idiot, if “you” wants Palin to have anything to say about our nukes.

BTW Michelle, I noticed that back in #43 I’d misspelled your name. That was not intentional and I apologize.

      WR

      #46

Well, he didn’t actually address my post #4 so I don’t see why we are comparing my post to his when I clearly have stated why I made the comment in the first place. He, on the other hand makes a silly remark with nothing to back it up or no explanation as to his opinion. He simply posts and insult and that’s all. Like I said, I explained the reason for posting my opinion. I have yet to see a response from him. Can’t really compare the two. I addressed his post personally. He never addressed anyone personally.

The fact is if you or he had read all my posts then you/he would see what I based my opinion on rather than just a random post as #41 did and left it at that. No need for insults because a person disagrees with your point of view or opinion. That’s the point I was making to #41.

Doesn’t have anything to do with you or your posts. If I’m responding to your posts, I reference the post # and why I disagree or agree.

I just don’t like trolls coming in here posting garbage and not backing up what they post. They post insults and nothing of an intelligent response. There is nothing to debate.

I’m really not concerned about my name being spelled wrong, this is a blog not a grammar/spelling course. I realize that people have typo’s and i’m not the grammar police.

I find it rather odd that we are discussing my post in #4 that has nothing to do with my post to #41. You must have a lot of time on your hands to dissect every post I make and copy & paste them when they have nothing to do with the post in question.

However, if that is what entertains you, then that’s your prerogative.

Anyway no harm done and no need to apologize for a misspelled word.

      #47 – Try this:

Look at #4 all by itself. Do the same with #41.

Compare them to each other as if there are no follow-on comments explaining them. IMO, they are quite similar in structure and overall approach (even though the commentary is different).

That is what I was describing in #43 & #46. These two posts (#4 and #41) are short, simple opinions. Neither post explains itself.

Based on this similarity, I was suggesting that your reply #42 to #41 could have equally been used as a response to #4 (by someone else, of course).

As I said: “Time and logic can be complicated sometimes.”
