More Obama Hope & Change” Majority of Americans Think Government is Broken
America, how is that “Hopee, Changee” thing working out for ya?
Just some words of wisdom to those in the US government, “We the People” have a way of fixing the problems of Washington, DC when we feel there is taxation without representation.
A majority of Americans believe that the government is broken. 81% of Americans according to a new CNN poll believe that the US government is broken; however, 81% believe it can be fixed. Did Obama promise he was going to change the way things are done in Washington during the campaign? Don’t ask for things America, they might just come true. The change may be for the worse.
Americans overwhelmingly think that the government in this country is broken, according to a new national poll. But the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey, released Sunday morning, also indicates that the public overwhelmingly holds out hope that what’s broken can be fixed.
Eighty-six percent of people questioned in the poll say that our system of government is broken, with 14 percent saying no. Of that 86 percent, 81 percent say that the government can be fixed, with 5 percent saying it’s beyond repair.
The 86% of Americans believing that the government is broken is up 8% points from 2006, the GWB years. Imagine that, Americans feel that the US government is more broken under Barack Hussein Obama than during Gorge W. Bush. What happened to that candidate that was going to reach across the aisle and bring change to DC?
The LEFT would want you to believe that this is all the fault of Republicans and disregard what the people are saying. The Washington Monthly stated that Democrats should do what ever it takes, “reconciliation, nuclear option, anything — to get the legislative process moving again.”
Obama’s ‘Chicago mafia’ blamed for paralysis at the top
The president and his team now find themselves under fire for mishandling Congress from everyone from senior Democrats to social columnists. Critics say that by failing to move on from the “us versus them” feeling of the Obama election campaign, they have united an opposition that was in disarray. The result is legislative paralysis despite the biggest Democratic majority in 30 years.
Really, should it be the policy of the government to not be of, by and for the People? It is not the Republican party that is saying no, IT IS WE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE DOING SO! Numerous polls on health care, Cap & Trade and other Obama/Democrat polices all show that the American people are against.
A broken government does not mean passing unpopular legislation against the will of the people. That would make it even more broke.
The people feel the government is broken because the duly elected Representatives are not doing what they were elected to do … REPRESENT THE PEOPLE. When 61% of the American people say that health care should be scrapped and Congress should start over from scratch, they mean just that. It does not mean that Harry Reid should ram through an unpopular Obamacare bill by means of reconciliation. How would any rational person derive that from not only 61% saying that the process should start over, but also 58% being against the present bill set forth by the Senate?
The American people have spoke and the more the US government does not listen, the more they believe the system is broke. People did want change to health care; however, they in no way wanted this change set forth by Obama, Pelosi and Reid.
The American people have a way of fixing what is broke when politicians refuse to listen … it is called an election. Come this November, the midterm elections will be the first effort by “We the People” to fix what is broken in government. Democrats control the Presidency, House and Senate; however, come the midterms all that will begin to change. If the US government does not get the message and fix the fact of not listening and representing the people … the 2012 elections will be step number two.
If Democrats think that Republicans are the problem they are delusional. We the People are saying no, not the Republicans.

Wake Up America !!!
Say Bye Bye B.O. That even makes a great laundry comercial !!!
since the west wing is full to bloated with obama’s chicago mafia pals the corruption has become more rampant. these street thugs have nothing on their minds other than playing president while raping our resources and leaving a depleted , crippled country for our children.
obama is asid to even have given positions to terrorists (of which i don’t doubt).
It is time that the people make the federal government afraid of them. This can be done at the ballot box and by getting in their faces via the news media. Call them what they are and in my opinion it is they are a bunch of professional theifs.
The federal government needs to be reduced to the size it was in 1928. This means killing all entitlement programs except a provision for social security, killing the EPA, HUD, Fanie Mae,Fredi Mac, audit and control/eleminate the Federal Reserve Bank, the the IRS and replace it with another revenue method such as a flat tax, forcing a balanced budget and term limits for all members of congress. Eliminate the current way bills are handled by limiting a bill to a single subject and get the federal government off the idea that the 10th amendment gives them the power to override states rights.
Failing to get the politicians to do the right thing, we have only to revisit the Declaration of Independence and create a new government.
