NBC News Booker Matt Zimmerman Fired Amid Sexual Misconduct Claims
ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST …
Matt Zimmerman is out at NBC News. Zimmerman was fired amid allegations of inappropriate conduct and sexual harassment by two women at the news division. Matt Zimmerman was the senior VP of booking, news and entertainment and worked with NBC since at least 2004 and primarily handled bookings on “Today” and other NBC News programs. One has to wonder if there will be anyone left in the news rooms after the purge.
Matt Zimmerman, a veteran of NBC News, has been fired amid allegations of inappropriate conduct with two women at the news division.
“We have recently learned that Matt Zimmerman engaged in inappropriate conduct with more than one woman at NBCU, which violated company policy. As a result, he has been dismissed,” an NBC News spokesperson said Tuesday in a statement.
Sources say the allegations were recently brought to the attention of human resources. At issue were multiple relationships with women who were junior to Zimmerman and, in at least one case, a direct report, said one source. NBC News policy stipulates that such relationships must be disclosed to human resources. Zimmerman, who was a senior VP at NBC News, is a veteran of The Today Show and in 2014 was elevated to lead a streamlined NBC News booking department.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions Considering Second Special Counsel to investigate wrongdoing by the Clinton Foundation and the controversial Sale of a Uranium Company to Russia
WHATS GOOD FOR INVESTIGATIONS OF DONALD TRUMP AND THE RUSSIANS SHOULD BE GOOD FOR THE GANDER AND THE CLINTON’S AND THE RUSSIANS AS WELL …
Fox News is reporting that Attorney Jeff Sessions directed senior federal prosecutors to evaluate “certain issues” requested by congressional Republicans, involving the sale of Uranium One and alleged unlawful dealings related to the Clinton Foundation, leaving the door open for an appointment of another special counsel. The Democrats can whine all they want, the questions is, why wouldn’t he? Why are the Clinton’s, Democrats and the Obama administration exempt from scrutiny? The questions is, who colluded with who? After a year of special counsel investigations by Mueller, there is nothing that ties the Trump campaign with Russia in some type of collusion during the election. But what if the Trump Foundation received $150 million form the Russian or one of Donald trump’s sons got speaking fees of $150,000 from the Russians? Think that would be big news? But that’s right, that was the Clinton’s who received such things from the Russians.
In a letter first obtained by Fox News, the Justice Department responded to July 27 and September 26 requests from House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., and other committee members, who called for the appointment of a special counsel to investigate the matters in question.
The letter comes on the eve of Sessions’ testimony before the same committee, scheduled for Tuesday.
“The Attorney General has directed senior federal prosecutors to evaluate certain issues raised in your letters,” Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd wrote.
“These senior prosecutors will report directly to the Attorney General and the Deputy Attorney General [Rod Rosenstein], as appropriate, and will make recommendations as to whether any matters not currently under investigation should be opened, whether any matters currently under investigation require further resources, or whether any matters merit the appointment of a Special Counsel,” Boyd wrote.
The Justice Department does not ordinarily confirm or deny investigations, and Boyd wrote that “this letter should not be construed to do so.”
The Justice Department’s letter specifically said that some of the topics requested by Goodlatte and other committee members were already being investigated by the department’s Inspector General’s office.
The letter specifically mentioned allegations related to the FBI’s handling of the Clinton email probe, including allegations that DOJ and FBI “policies or procedures” were “not followed in connection with, or in actions leading up to or related to” then-FBI Director James Comey’s public announcement to close the Clinton email “matter” on July 5, 2016, or the letter he sent lawmakers on October 28, 2016, about newly discovered Clinton emails, and that those “investigative decisions were based on improper considerations.”
Attorney General Jeff Sessions is entertaining the idea of appointing a second special counsel to investigate a host of Republican concerns — including alleged wrongdoing by the Clinton Foundation and the controversial sale of a uranium company to Russia — and has directed senior federal prosecutors to explore at least some of the matters and report back to him and his top deputy, according to a letter obtained by The Washington Post.
The revelation came in a response by the Justice Department to an inquiry from House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), who in July and again in September called for Sessions to appoint a second special counsel to investigate concerns he had related to the 2016 election and its aftermath.
The list of matters he wanted probed was wide ranging but included the FBI’s handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of state, various dealings of the Clinton Foundation and several matters connected to the purchase of the Canadian mining company Uranium One by Russia’s nuclear energy agency. Goodlatte took particular aim at former FBI director James B. Comey, asking for the second special counsel to evaluate the leaks he directed about his conversations with President Trump, among other things.

Another Female Accuser Comes Forward Against GOP Senate Candidate Roy Moore … Accused of Sexual Assault of a Minor (VIDEO)
MOORE TROUBLE … Another accuser against Roy Moore comes forward …
If these accusations are true, they are damning and criminal. But what is the truth? The latest accuser of Roy Moore, Beverly Young Nelson, stated that when she was 16, Moore groped her in a car, locked the doors, grabbed her neck in an attempt to force sexual contact and left her with bruises after she escaped. She seems credible; however, why on earth she would have hired attorney Gloria Allred is a huge negative. She is also reading a script. The accuser claims that her neck was black and blue and purple. Wouldn’t some one have noticed this like her mother or her boyfriend? Roy Moore denies the allegations.
Beverly Young Nelson, appearing with Gloria Allred, said that when she was 16 Moore groped her in a car, locked the doors, grabbed her neck in an attempt to force sexual contact and left her with bruises after she escaped. Her story will be subjected to scrutiny, but as a self-described Trump voter, Nelson has no apparent motivation to lie. She is the first accuser to say that Moore accosted her, and in fact says she feared he would rape her.
Only one thing is certain in this she said, he said situation. Whether credible or not, it is heinous. It is a shame that something like this did not come out much sooner than four weeks prior to a Senate election vote. Sorry, but that stinks as well. Roy Moore has run for many public offices in Alabama. One would have thought such news of this type of behavior would have come out then. But it did not. One would have thought the accusers, some of which claim to be Trump voters would have come out with these allegations during the GOP primary against Luther Strange, not now. But they did. Who really knows what happened. It was nearly 40 years ago. Usually in such situations, there is her side, his side and then the truth. The fact that Gloria Allred is involved in this matter makes me very weary. The question does arise, if everyone was so in the know about what type of individual he was and his conduct with teens in the past, how did this info no come out sooner with opposition research for the establishment GOP in the primaries?
UPDATE I: 50 pastors posts support from Roy Moore.
Kayla Moore, wife of Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, shared a letter on Facebook over the weekend indicating support from more than 50 Alabama pastors. Not all the pastors said they gave permission for their name to be be used on what appears to be a recycled letter from before the GOP primary, however.
Moore’s wife Kayla posted the letter to her Facebook page Sunday after days of controversy surrounding her husband and allegations he had sexual contact with a 14-year-old in 1979 when he was 32-years-old. Three other women said Moore pursued them as teenagers. The letter was posted before a fifth woman, Beverly Young Nelson, came forward with additional charges Monday.
Moore denies the charges.
In their letter, the pastors said Moore was an “immovable rock in the culture wars,” and has met attacks with a “rare unconquerable resolve.”
UPDATE II: McConnell on Moore: ‘I believe the women,’ Moore should go.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell believes the allegations against Alabama Republican Senate nominee Roy Moore and that Moore should leave the race, the Kentucky Republican said Monday.
“I believe the women, yes,” McConnell told reporters in Kentucky.
McConnell, the Senate’s top Republican and a frequent target of Moore on the campaign trail, said, “I think he should step aside.”

U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Aly Raisman Says she was Sexually Abused by U.S. National Team Doctor Larry Nassar
U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Aly Raisman Says Sexually Abused by National Team Doctor Larry Nassar ..
Uhg, it just doesn’t seem to stop. U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Aly Raisman says she was sexually abused by the United States team doctor Larry Nassar. Three weeks ago, Olympian McKayla Maroney broke her silence on Twitter to allege that Nassar preyed on her from the time she was 13 until she left the sport. This is a shame that this has obviously been going on for quite some time, much like the Hollywood systemic sexual abuse. Dr. Nassar, who worked with the U.S. women’s national gymnastics teams for more than two decades, is now in jail. Nassar pleaded guilty to child pornography charges but not guilty to charges of sexual assault.
One of America’s biggest Olympic stars has come forward to accuse the former U.S. women’s gymnastics team doctor of sexual abuse. Aly Raisman, who won six medals, three of them gold, for the U.S. at the last two Olympic Summer Games, says she was sexually abused by Dr. Larry Nassar. Raisman tells her story to Dr. Jon LaPook for a 60 Minutes report to be broadcast Sunday, Nov. 12 at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT.
Raisman, 23, says she was first treated by Dr. Nassar when she was 15. She talks about her experiences in a new book called “Fierce.” It’s the story of a girl who dreamed of going to the Olympics, and how she realized her goal, but it also includes new insights into a scandal that goes to the highest level of Raisman’s sport.
Raisman says a lot of people have asked her why Nassar’s accusers didn’t speak up sooner.
RAISMAN: Why are we looking at why didn’t the girls speak up? Why not look at what about the culture? What did USA Gymnastics do, and Larry Nassar do, to manipulate these girls so much that they are so afraid to speak up?
JON LAPOOK: You’re angry.
RAISMAN: I am angry. I’m really upset because it’s been– I care a lot you know, when I see these young girls that come up to me, and they ask for pictures or autographs, whatever it is, I just– I can’t– every time I look at them, every time I see them smiling, I just think– I just want to create change so that they never, ever have to go through this.
In a statement to 60 Minutes, USA Gymnastics said it has made major changes since the Nassar scandal broke. The organization says it recently adopted a new “safe sport policy” that requires “mandatory reporting” of suspicions of sexual abuse and also sets standards to “prevent inappropriate interaction” between athletes and adults. “USA Gymnastics is very sorry that any athlete has been harmed…” the statement says, “…we want to work with Aly and all interested athletes to keep athletes safe.”

Sean Hannity 11/9/17: Discusses the Sexual Misconduct Allegations Against Judge Roy Moore (VIDEO)
Sean Hannity discusses the news of the allegations of sexual misconduct against Judge Roy Moore.
If the allegations are true, of course Moore should step down. However, how do we find the truth here? The allegations happened more than 30 years ago. Why did these woman wait so long? Were they scared or was it for more nefarious reasons?
If true, Moore should go. If false, how does he get is reputation back? I just have a couple of name to throw out when things like this happen, Richard Jewell and the Duke Lacrosse rape case. The fact that this happened one month before a crucial political election needs to be addressed. Please tell me that we have not fallen that low.
