Hillary Clinton’s Book Tour has Democrats Cringing … It’s Never Hillary’s Fault and She Just Won’t Go Away

JUST WHAT TRUMP NEEDED, HILLARY BITCHING HOW AND WHY SHE LOST THE 2016 ELECTION

Just when we thought we were rid of Hillary Clinton forever, she’s back. And it is not just Republicans that feel this way, but more so Democrats. Hillary’s new book, ‘What Happened,’ is just a distraction for Democrats and reminder to all others just why she was not the right person for the job. Her book is a litany of excuses and blaming of others as to why the candidate who could not lose, lost. Just how pathetic of a candidate was Hillary Clinton? One needs to look no further than her constant whining and excuses. She feels the need to blame Democrat primary candidate Bernie Sanders, former FBI director James Comey, even the MSM, who was in her pocket, and Barack Obama. Good grief. Do you really want to know what happened? Hillary Clinton was a terrible candidate, a liar and came with more baggage than Cal Hockley when he boarded Titanic. She lost because she was expected to win, not because she earned it, but because she was artificially given it by Democrat and liberal MSM decree. Now, after having lost one of the greatest political defeats in history and supposedly taking the blame, 9 months later she is picking scabs and bringing up issues that most Democrats wish were forgotten forever. But not Hillary, because its all about Hillary all of the time. What we have learned from all of this is that she was never the correct candidate and the people of America made the correct choice in November 2016.

Hillary Clinton_What Happened

President Donald Trump may be the only person in politics truly excited about Hillary Clinton’s book tour.

Democratic operatives can’t stand the thought of her picking the scabs of 2016, again — the Bernie Sanders divide, the Jim Comey complaints, the casting blame on Barack Obama for not speaking out more on Russia. Alums of her Brooklyn headquarters who were miserable even when they thought she was winning tend to greet the topic with, “Oh, God,” “I can’t handle it,” and “the final torture.”

Political reporters gripe privately (and on Twitter) about yet another return to the campaign that will never end. Campaign operatives don’t want the distraction, just as they head into another election season. And members of Congress from both parties want the focus on an agenda that’s getting more complicated by the week.

But with a new NBC News poll showing her approval rating at 30 percent, the lowest recorded for her, Clinton kicks it off on Tuesday with a signing at the Union Square Barnes & Noble in New York. She’ll keep it going all the way through December, all across the country.

“Maybe at the worst possible time, as we are fighting some of the most high-stakes policy and institutional battles we may ever see, at a time when we’re trying to bring the party together so we can all move the party forward — stronger, stronger together,” said Rep. Jared Huffman, a Democrat who represents a Northern California district. “She’s got every right to tell her story. Who am I to say she shouldn’t, or how she should tell it? But it is difficult for some of us, even like myself who’ve supported her, to play out all these media cycles about the blame game, and the excuses.”

Next Up … Hurricane Irma has Strengthened to a Category 5 Storm Takes Aim at Florida (Update: Devastation in Caribbean)

HURRICANE IRMA …

Hurricane Irma is making its way thru the Caribbean, where it will or if it will hit the United States is still up in the air.  Hurricane Irma has strengthened to a Category 5 storm with maximum sustained winds near 175 mph as it approaches the northeast Caribbean on a path toward U.S.

Hurricane Irma

“Extremely dangerous” Hurricane Irma strengthened to a Category 5 storm Tuesday morning, the National Hurricane Center said, with sustained winds of 175 mph.

The hurricane will blast the northern Caribbean with flooding rain, damaging winds and rough surf over the next few days, AccuWeather warned, bringing life-threatening conditions to the islands.

A similar scenario could play out somewhere along the Gulf or East coasts of the United States this weekend or next week, depending on where Irma tracks.

The storm could hit Florida, Georgia or the Carolinas, or even head into the eastern Gulf of Mexico.

Irma is now the strongest hurricane in the Atlantic since 2007.

When a Category 5 hurricane hits land, “a high percentage of framed homes will be destroyed, with total roof failure and wall collapse,” the hurricane center said.

UPDATE I: Hurricane Irma prompted the governors of Florida and Puerto Rico to declare states of emergency Monday.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott’s emergency declaration mentions that weather models predict Irma will “head into the Straits of Florida as a major hurricane,” then “travel up the entire spine” of the state. The declaration — which applies to all of the state’s counties — also outlines an emergency response plan, including potential policies such as waiving fees on toll roads, activating the National Guard, and setting up shelters in public buildings.

On Twitter Monday, Scott also urged “all Floridians to remain vigilant and stay alert to local weather and news” and “to get prepared.”

In Puerto Rico, Gov. Ricardo Rosselló also declared a state of emergency, saying that Puerto Rican officials have issued price freezes on basic necessities, and that the US territory has 456 shelters that can accommodate 62,100 people.

UPDATE II: Hurricane Irma leaves trail of death, destruction across Caribbean.

Hurricane Irma left a trail of death and destruction across the Caribbean on Thursday as the Category 5 storm howled past Puerto Rico and headed toward the Dominican Republic and Haiti on its way to Florida.

At least 10 people have died and authorities are struggling to get aid to small Caribbean islands devastated by the storm’s record 185 mph winds. Barbuda’s prime minister called the island “barely habitable” and St. Martin, an island split between French and Dutch control, saw extensive damage and was completely destroyed in places.

Communications with areas hit by Irma have been difficult, and information on damage trickled out. However, authorities cautioned the death toll is likely to rise. Of the dead, one was a 2-year-old from Barbuda, eight were from St. Martin and St. Barts and one was from Anguilla, where the British government described the situation as “critical.”

French Interior Minister Gerard Collomb told France Info radio that the toll on Saint-Martin and Saint-Barts be higher because rescue teams have yet to finish their inspection of the islands.

President Trump Sides With Democrats on 3 Month Debt-Limit Fix & Harvey Aid … Message Sent to McConnell and Ryan

THE ART OF THE DEAL …

Hmm, so what must the MSM think of this bipartisan deal? As reported at Bloomberg, President Donald Trump sided with Democrats on adding a three-month extension of the U.S. debt limit and government spending to a hurricane-relief bill. Republicans Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan  wanted a longer debt extension that would push the time limit past the midterm elections. How brave of you. If you think this is a mini “FU” to McConnell and Ryan for not passing the President’s agenda, you would be correct. If you think this is a shot across the political bow of McConnell and Ryan to get their act together and start governing as if they were in the majority, you would be correct again. What will the liberal MSM think of such a bipartisan deal? However, a note to Republicans and conservatives, don’t think that this is a complete pivot of the Trump presidency, this all part of the art of the deal. Personally, I think its brilliant. Trump just made establishment Republicans like McConnell and Ryan irrelevant. Trump just showed the LEFT that despise him that he can be bipartisan. Trump just put the MSM in a quandary as to how they can report negative Trump stories 24/7.

To my fellow conservatives don’t let your heart be troubled. Think long term. What really was done here that is being billed as the bipartisan bill of the century? Trump kicked the debt limit fix down the road that will have to be dealt with again and he funded Hurricane Harvey aid that was going to be passed anyhow. And? In the process he showed McConnell and Paul Rino who is boss, he demonstrated his ability to make deals and get the job down. However, don’t think that Trump will not use this to his advantage against establishment Republicans, Democrats and the MSM in the future.

Trump just otherized McConnell & Ryan

President Donald Trump sided with Democrats on adding a three-month extension of the U.S. debt limit and government spending to a hurricane-relief bill over the arguments of fellow Republicans, who pressed for a longer debt extension.

Senate Republicans released a new version of a Harvey aid bill late Wednesday that includes the debt ceiling extension and would fund the government through Dec. 8. It also nearly doubles the total disaster funding to $15.25 billion from what the House passed earlier in the day. The additional funding would go toward the Community Development Block Grant program to address housing needs in disaster zones.

Trump, after meeting with congressional leaders Wednesday at the White House, told reporters on Air Force One that the deal with Democrats would be “very good.”

“We agreed to a three-month extension on debt ceiling, which they consider to be sacred — very important — always we’ll agree on debt ceiling automatically because of the importance of it,” the president said.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters he’ll add the spending and debt-limit extensions to the Hurricane Harvey relief package passed by the House earlier in the day. He said he will support the measure.

“The president agreed with Senator Schumer and Congresswoman Pelosi to do a three-month CR and debt ceiling until December,” said McConnell, a Kentucky Republican. “His feeling was that we needed to come together to not create a picture of divisiveness at a time of genuine national crisis.” CR is shorthand for a stopgap government spending bill.

Just hours earlier, House Speaker Paul Ryan of Wisconsin — who was in the meeting with Trump — had told reporters the Democratic proposal was “unworkable” and “ridiculous.”

Ex-Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke to Join Pro-Trump Super PAC, America First Action

SHERIFF DAVID CLARKE … A GREAT AMERICAN!!!

After resigning from his job as Milwaukee sheriff last week, David Clarke took a job as a senior adviser and spokesman for America First Action, a pro-President Donald Trump super PAC.

Via FOX News:

Former Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke Jr. announced Tuesday he will join the super PAC devoted to electing candidates who support the Trump-Pence administration.

Both the super PAC, America First Action, and a spokesperson for Clarke announced that he would join the team as a senior advisor and spokesman.

“It’s truly an honor to join the America First Action team, most importantly because we share the same values that most hard-working, law-abiding Americans do,” Clarke, who resigned last week from his post as sheriff, said in a statement Tuesday. “It gives me the chance to do what I love most—promote President Trump’s agenda, including his fierce support for the American law enforcement officer, and ensure the will of the American people who got President Trump elected is not derailed by the left or the self-serving Washington establishment.”

“David Clarke is an American patriot, and we are very proud to welcome him to America First,” Brian O. Walsh, president of the PAC, said Tuesday. “Having spent a lifetime in law enforcement –protecting and serving his community and fighting for justice and the Second Amendment –Sheriff Clarke doesn’t just believe in making America safe again; he’s devoted his life to it.”

President Trump Rescinds DACA that was Effectuated under the Obama Administration Unconstitutionally … President Gives Congress 6 Months to Do Thier Job

DACA RESCINDED … TRUMP GIVES CONGRESS 6 MONTHS TO ACT AND DO THEIR JOB.

Yesterday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions did his job and correctly rescinded the DACA program. No matter how you feel about the DACA program and so called “Dreamers,” DACA was was Unconstitutional. The United States is a country of laws and if we have presidents who flaunt the Constitution, as Barack Obama did, what is the point. If Trump did not end DACA, it would have been in the courts, as the executive branch does not have the right to bypass the legislative branch and make laws. Obama knew this, and even said so when president, then turned around and created DACA. Democrats and the LEFT can try and play politics with this, as they usually do, but in reality, Trump did the smart thing. Trump eliminated an Unconstitutional program and forwarded it to the U.S. Congress where such laws are supposed to be created. In is now on Congress to do their job.

This policy was implemented unilaterally to great controversy and legal concern after Congress rejected legislative proposals to extend similar benefits on numerous occasions to this same group of illegal aliens.

In other words, the executive branch, through DACA, deliberately sought to achieve what the legislative branch specifically refused to authorize on multiple occasions. Such an open-ended circumvention of immigration laws was an unconstitutional exercise of authority by the Executive Branch.

As the Attorney General, it is my duty to ensure that the laws of the United States are enforced and that the Constitutional order is upheld.

Via FOX News:

In June of 2012, President Obama bypassed Congress to give work permits, social security numbers, and federal benefits to approximately 800,000 illegal immigrants currently between the ages of 15 and 36.  The typical recipients of this executive amnesty, known as DACA, are in their twenties.  Legislation offering these same benefits had been introduced in Congress on numerous occasions and rejected each time.

In referencing the idea of creating new immigration rules unilaterally, President Obama admitted that “I can’t just do these things by myself” – and yet that is exactly what he did, making an end-run around Congress and violating the core tenets that sustain our Republic.

Officials from 10 States are suing over the program, requiring my Administration to make a decision regarding its legality. The Attorney General of the United States, the Attorneys General of many states, and virtually all other top legal experts have advised that the program is unlawful and unconstitutional and cannot be successfully defended in court.

There can be no path to principled immigration reform if the executive branch is able to rewrite or nullify federal laws at will.

The temporary implementation of DACA by the Obama Administration, after Congress repeatedly rejected this amnesty-first approach, also helped spur a humanitarian crisis – the massive surge of unaccompanied minors from Central America including, in some cases, young people who would become members of violent gangs throughout our country, such as MS-13.

Only by the reliable enforcement of immigration law can we produce safe communities, a robust middle class, and economic fairness for all Americans.

Therefore, in the best interests of our country, and in keeping with the obligations of my office, the Department of Homeland Security will begin an orderly transition and wind-down of DACA, one that provides minimum disruption.  While new applications for work permits will not be accepted, all existing work permits will be honored until their date of expiration up to two full years from today.  Furthermore, applications already in the pipeline will be processed, as will renewal applications for those facing near-term expiration.  This is a gradual process, not a sudden phase out.  Permits will not begin to expire for another six months, and will remain active for up to 24 months.  Thus, in effect, I am not going to just cut DACA off, but rather provide a window of opportunity for Congress to finally act.
