AFTER ALL THE HOOPLA FROM THE MSM AND DEMOCRATS, IS THERE REALLY NO THERE, THERE?
As reported at the NY Post, some of former FBI director Comey’s prepared statement for his Thursday testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee are exactly what President Donald Trump has previously said. Comey did tell Trump on three separate occasions that he was not personally under investigation. But of course Comey would not make this public. He had no problem when investigating Hillary Clinton making those matters pubic. It has also been stated that Comey is not going to accuse Trump of obstruction of justice. SO THEN WHY IN THE HELL ARE WE HAVING THESE HEARINGS!!! This is beginning to look exactly what it is, nothing. A completely orchestrated attempt bey Democrats, the media and former Obama operatives to sabotage Trump’s presidency.
So President Trump was absolutely correct when he insisted — to much derision from Democrats and the mainstream media — that then-FBI Director James Comey assured him three times that he wasn’t personally under investigation.
That’s just one of the revelations in Comey’s prepared statement for his Thursday testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee.
Yes, some of the others paint the president as unaware or unconcerned with how the government works, and as obsessed with top officials’ “loyalty.”
And Comey says Trump repeatedly asked for the investigation of ex-national security adviser Michael Flynn to go away.
But also that the prez never crossed the line by actually ordering a shutdown.
An order would be considered obstruction of justice. But just making the request is troubling — since it suggests the president doesn’t appreciate why investigative agencies like the FBI must remain fully independent and immune from political interference.

A President using his office to pressure an FBI director to drop an investigation while demanding loyalty pledges, then firing said director once that fails to happen, is obviously seeking to obstruct justice. Article 4 in the Republican impeachment of Bill Clinton cited “abuse of power.” No intellectually honest person can claim that Trump’s Comey actions do not represent a clear abuse of power. Based on the Clinton impeachment standard alone, Trump is guilty. And if his last name were Obama or Clitnon, he’d have already been impeached.

SM: Your comments are laughable. If their name was Clinton or Obama there would have been a media blackout on any such thing and they would have defended them. To prove my point, we just learned that former DOJ under Obama pressured Comey to bend the English language and not use the word investigation with regards to Hillary. Comey folded like a cheap suit and accommodated her.
These hearings are part of the Socialist Democrats program to discredit the Trump Administration. Just another Saul Alinsky tactic.
Mr. Comey is in the process of trying to rebuild his tarnished reputation. Today he just made things worse for himself. He is NOT an upstanding lawman as was demonstrated in his protection of Hillary Clinton in June of 2016.
Comey deserved to be fired, the FBI criticized him for his handling of the Hillary investigation, letting her get away with her crimes because of political pressure from obama and lynch, that was the real reason, which he would not state. He used the excuse that a not a single prosecutor would handle the case. That is not true and that was not his decision to make. This is what we should be investigating not the made-up shit that’s going on right now.
Comey is as distrustful as his brother who filed fraudulent taxes for the Clinton Foundation and got caught. Comey is a disaster of incompetence, he has caused a bad reflection on the FBI and attacks Trump because he has commented on the disarray of how things have been mishandled.
This sabotage of the Presidency has got to come to an end. The constant disruption of nothing but nonsense needs to stop with executive orders prosecuting those that are intentionally and unjustly causing great harm. It’s a violation of the principles of justice and fairness. And it stinks!
#1….any obstruction of justice was done by obama, lynch and comey. We’re cleaning the swamp and your in it along with “Lock her up Hillary”. Your defending liars, criminals and dirty politician’s that should be prosecuted.
obama’s land mines are going to backfire. He said he suspected the Russians of meddling before the election, if that was the case he did nothing about it because he thought Hillary would win, when she lost he used his land mine to say they interfered with the election.
