Sen. Ted Cruz Introduces “EL CHAPO Act” to Pay for the Us-Mexico Wall

THIS IS ONE WAY FOR MEXICO TO PAY FOR THE WALL …

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has introduced a bill called the “El Chapo act” that would use the seized assets from Mexican drug lords like El Chapo to help pay for the border wall between Mexico and the United States. The acronym for the act stands for: Ensuring Lawful Collection of Hidden Assets to Provide Order. It would seem like a very effective use of such assets.

• The idea: U.S. prosecutors are seeking $14 billion in drug profits and other assets from El Chapo. They also routinely seize the assets of other drug dealers and traffickers.
• The Cruz quote: “Fourteen billion dollars will go a long way toward building a wall that will keep Americans safe and hinder the illegal flow of drugs, weapons, and individuals across our southern border.”
• The acronym’s meaning: Ensuring Lawful Collection of Hidden Assets to Provide Order
• Why it matters: President Trump is trying to figure out how to pay for his border wall, which will require American taxpayers to front the bill, but Republicans aren’t helping at the moment.

Fox News Star & Syndicated Radio Host Sean Hannity Accused of Sexual Harassment by Attorney/Blogger Debbie Schlussel

In the latest attack again Conservatives and FOX News,  stars, Sean Hannity is being accused of sexual harassment by attorney/blogger Debbie Schlussel. According to Schlussel Hannity repeatedly invited her back to his hotel room during an event they were at together in Detroit. Honestly, it is hard to believe that some one with an impeccable record like Hannity could have done this. Or is this the leanght that some are willing to go to destroy another’s career. So Schlussel thinks that using the term “double team” was a weird phrase to use. REALLY? Interesting, I use the term all the time and so do many others. Note to Ms. Schlussel, it is a term used in sports all the time. Remend me to never have a conversation with this individual or ever be in her presence.

Sorry, the timing seems to be to coincidental after the ousting of Bill O’Reilly and its obvious that Fox hater and those with a previous bone to pick and agenda smell blood in the water. Hannity has no record of anything like this. Sorry, this is a case of an individual looking to pile on and make something out of nothing.

Former Fox News contributor Debbie Schlussel claims that host Sean Hannity sexually harassed her.

Schlussel said on the Pat Campbell Podcast Friday that Hannity repeatedly invited her back to his hotel room during an event they were at together in Detroit. Schlussel did not say on the podcast when the event took place.

“He had some event at a bookstore where he signed his book for people standing in line. He asked me to come meet him at this book signing,” Schlussel said on the podcast.

“So I met him there and it was very awkward. He had me stand up there with him while he signed books and I felt very weird. These people don’t know me and they didn’t come for me to sign their books. So then I left to get ready for the show and he said, ‘Why don’t you come back with me to my hotel?’ and I said no, I have to get ready for the show.”

“Sean came up to me and said we’re gonna double-team, which was a weird phrase to use, this Palestinian guy that I was up against on the show,” Schlussel said.

“And then every time I tried to open my mouth and say something, they yelled at me and said, ‘obey your host, you can’t say anything or else we’re gonna shut off your microphone.’”

After the show, Schlussel claims Hannity invited her back to his hotel room again. She says she declined once again.

President Trump to Unveil Tax Plan Next Week with ‘Massive’ Cuts

This is why Trump was elected president, he takes the lead  … President Donald Trump surprised Capitol Hill, his staff and his own Treasury officials as Trump announced that he’ll be rolling out his tax package next week. Trump added that it will contain the largest cut in American history. President Trump continued to explain that businesses and individuals will be getting a ‘massive tax cut’ if his plan passes. Without going into detail, Trump asserted that it will be ‘bigger I believe than any tax cut ever.’ As the Right Wing News opines … “WOOT, WOOT!!!”

President Donald Trump says businesses and individuals will receive a “massive tax cut” under a tax reform package he plans to unveil next week.

In an interview with The Associated Press, Trump says the plan will result in tax cuts for both individuals and businesses. He would not provide details of the plan, saying only that the tax cuts will be “bigger I believe than any tax cut ever.”

The president says the package will be released on “Wednesday or shortly thereafter” — just before his 100 day mark in office.

President Donald Trump Helps Free Egyptian American Prisoner Aya Hijazi as Well as Her Egyptian Husband, Mohamed Hassanein

KUDOS TO PRESIDENT TRUMP FOR HELP MAKING IT HAPPEN!!!

The WAPO is reporting that Aya Hijazi, 30, a U.S. citizen, as well as her husband, Mohamed Hassanein, who is Egyptian, and four other humanitarian workers have been freed from an Egyptian prison. Hijazi was in Egypt running a nongovernmental organization that was seen as an anti-Egyptian scheme by Egyptian security officials.  Hijazi and her coworkers were imprisoned on May 1, 2014 on baseless child abuse and trafficking charges. According to accounts they were subjected to “coercive interrogation techniques,” and their trial dates were either canceled or continuously postponed.

An Egyptian American charity worker who was imprisoned in Cairo for three years and became the global face of Egypt’s brutal crackdown on civil society returned home to the United States late Thursday after the Trump administration quietly negotiated her release.

President Trump and his aides worked for several weeks with Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sissi to secure the freedom of Aya Hijazi, 30, a U.S. citizen, as well as her husband, Mohamed Hassanein, who is Egyptian, and four other humanitarian workers. Trump dispatched a U.S. government aircraft to Cairo to bring Hijazi and her family to Washington.

Hijazi, who grew up in Falls Church, Va., and graduated from George Mason University, was working in Cairo with the Belady Foundation, which she and her husband established as a haven and rehabilitation center for street children in Cairo.

The couple and their co-workers had been incarcerated since May 1, 2014, on child abuse and trafficking charges that were widely dismissed by human rights workers and U.S. officials as false. Virtually no evidence was ever presented against them, and for nearly three years they were held as hearings were inexplicably postponed and trial dates canceled. Human rights groups alleged that they were abused in detention.

The Obama administration unsuccessfully pressed Sissi’s government for their release. It was not until Trump moved to reset U.S. relations with Egypt by embracing Sissi at the White House on April 3 — he publicly hailed the autocrat’s leadership as “fantastic” and offered the U.S. government’s “strong backing” — that Egypt’s posture changed. Last Sunday, a court in Cairo dropped all charges against Hijazi and the others.

According to White House officials, this wasn’t your classic Obama-era quid pro quo transaction or controversial prisoner exchange. Unlike Obama, who infamously traded five senior Taliban Gitmo detainees for U.S. army deserter Bowe Bergdahl in 2014, Trump personally oversaw Hijazi’s release and received assurances from Cairo that the prisoner release was a gesture of good faith.

We received “assurance from the highest levels [of Sissi’s government] that whatever the verdict was, Egypt would use presidential authority to send her home,” an unidentified senior administration told the Post.

Tennessee AMBER ALERT: 15 Year Old Elizabeth Thomas Found Safe, Teacher Tad Cummins Arrested in Northern California

THE MANHUNT IS OVER FOR 50 YEAR OLD TAD CUMMINS …

The Tennessee Amber Alert is over as 15 year old Elizabeth Thomas has been found safe and police have arrested her teacher, 50 year old Tad Cummins in northern California. The search fro the two has gone on for a little over a month. Tad Cummins and 15-year-old Elizabeth Thomas were reported missing on March 13, 2017 from Columbia, Tennessee. Tad Cummins faces federal charges for taking a minor across state lines

Acting on a tip received by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation late last night, authorities in Siskiyou County, California have rescued Elizabeth Thomas and arrested Tad Cummins, after locating the pair at a rural cabin in Cecilville early this morning.

Thomas, 15, was the subject of a Tennessee AMBER Alert issued on March 14th, after having been kidnapped a day earlier by Tad Cummins, a former teacher at her school in Maury County, Tennessee. On March 17th, the TBI added the 50-year-old to the state’s ‘Top 10 Most Wanted’ list.

This morning, authorities from Siskiyou County located the Nissan Rogue in which the pair were traveling and later located the pair. Cummins surrendered without incident. Thomas was subsequently recovered by law enforcement officers. At the time of this release, efforts to reunite her with her family remained ongoing.

According to the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office, a Special Response Team (SRT) responded to the scene where the car was reported found and established a perimeter around the cabin believed to be occupied by Cummins and Thomas. A man who became friends with the two helped the SRT members at the scene. Deputies waited outside in the cold for hours for the two to exit the cabin.

“At one point, the suspect did come out, walked around the area, you could see that he was actively looking around the surroundings,” Lt. Behr Tharsing of the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office said. “They came back out, and it looked like they were trying to figure out whether we were there or not.”

The Sheriff’s Office used snipers positioned nearby to protect the tactical team that was dispatched to make the arrest.

Two loaded handguns were recovered in the cabin along with other personal items belonging to both Cummins and Thomas.

The sheriff’s office said they were found near the Shasta Trinity National Forest. The distance from Maury County, Tennessee, to Siskiyou County, California, is nearly 2,450.9 miles – around a 36-hour drive.

“It’s interesting Mr. Cummins made a spontaneous statement at the time that we took him down, ‘I’m glad this over,” Sgt. Mike Gilley of the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office said.

The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office said the cabin the two had been staying in was a one-room unit containing a foam mattress and a camp stove, with little cooking equipment.

The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office said Thomas appeared to be in good health. She will undergo a forensic interview and as a crime victim, she will receive any care that she requires at this time.

Cummins was taken by the SRT members without incident. He was transported to the Siskiyou County Jail in Yreka and booked on a Maury County, Tenn., fugitive arrest warrant for aggravated kidnapping. Cummins was set to be arraigned on Friday, April 21, 2017, at 10 a.m.
