Actor Bill Paxton of ‘Titanic’, ‘Aliens’, ‘Tombstone’ and ‘Twister’ Dies at age 61, RIP

ONE OF MY FAVORITE ACTORS HAS PASSED AWAY AND WAY TOO SOON …

Bill Paxton, the actor best known for his works in such movies as Titanic, Aliens, Tombstone and Twister and television shows like Big Love and Training Day, has died at the age of 61 due to complications of surgery. According to TMZ, Paxton underwent heart surgery and had post operative complications and suffered a fatal stroke. Paxton was an amazing talent that could take on any role. Paxton is survived by his 2 children and his wife Louise Newbury. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and friends He will be missed.

“It is with heavy hearts we share the news that Bill Paxton has passed away due to complications from surgery,” his family said in a statement on Sunday, the day of the 89th Academy Awards. “A loving husband and father, Bill began his career in Hollywood working on films in the art department and went on to have an illustrious career spanning four decades as a beloved and prolific actor and filmmaker. Bill’s passion for the arts was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth and tireless energy were undeniable.”

Paxton was born on May 17, 1955, in Fort Worth, Texas, and his father was in the lumber business. When he was 8, he, his brother and dad went to see John F. Kennedy at a hotel in Fort Worth on the day the president was assassinated.

Bill Paxton was one of my favorite actors dating back to the early 80′s.  Many know Paxton for his role of  Brock Lovett  in Titanic,  meteorologist Bill Harding in Twister or Pvt. Hudson from Aliens; however, do you remember him in the many other lesser roles he played? Bill Paxton also appeared in the following films and one of my 80′s favorites, Weird Science (1985) as Chet Donnolly (video), True Lies (1994) as car sales man and faux-spy Simon, Tombstone (1993) as Morgan Earp, another favorite, Vertical Limit (2000) as Elliot Vaughn, Predator 2 (1990) as Jerry Lambert,  Apollo 13 (1995) as Fred Haise, U-571 (2000) as Lt. Cmdr. Mike Dahlgren and Next of Kin (1989) as Gerald Gates. Do you remember seeing him in Stripes? He was there as one of the soldiers. How About campy 80′s film, Streets of Fire? He was in that too as Clyde the bar tender.

Bill Paxton was a brilliant actor and could take on any role from the most serious to the most ridiculous and be equally as great. How many people do you know could play a captain searching for the Heart of the Sea in Titanic and then being transformed into a turd by Kelly LeBrock as in Weird Science. I find myself so very sad today as such a contemporary passed away following a surgery. A bright light was taken far too soon. Rest in Peace, Bill.

Obama’s Former Labor Secretary Tom Perez Elected DNC Chair over Keith Ellison 235-200

THE ESTABLISHMENT DEMOCRATS BEAT BACK THE NEW GUARD …

Tom Perez, Barack Obama’s former Labor Secretary, has been elected the new DNC Chair.  Perez defeated Keith Ellison, 235-200. What does this mean? The establishment has defeated the young guns in the Democrat party. The announcement was met by protest from about a dozen Ellison supporters, who chanted, repeatedly, “Not big money, party for the people.” Look for further strife in the DNC as the establishment refuses to give in to the energetic leftist and progressives of the party. Many progressives blame the enlistments Democrats for Hillary Clinton’s loss and for the terrible plight that Democrats find themselves in. During Obama’s 8 years as president, the Democrat party has been savaged as they have lost the House, the Senate, governorship’s and state Houses across America. Now the DNC has one of his flunkies in charge. I guess this is just more Obama change you can believe in.

The Democratic National Committee elected Tom Perez as its new chairman Saturday, voting for the former labor secretary over Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison in a 235-200 vote.

Moments later, at Perez’s request, Ellison was approved as his deputy chair.

Perez, who drew support from backers of Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama, argued that the party needs to focus on voting access and down-ballot battles.

Ellison’s allies, who were aligned with Sen. Bernie Sanders’ progressive wing, pitched him as the only candidate who could bridge the party’s divisions.

Perez’s victory came after the other candidates dropped out of the race. They include South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Idaho Democratic Party Executive Director Sally Boynton Brown, television analyst Jehmu Greene, Air Force veteran Sam Ronan and attorney Peter Peckarsky.

Law Professor Alan Dershowitz Says He Will Leave the Democrat Party if anti-Semitite Rep. Keith Ellison is Elected DNC chairman

WHICH PARTY IS IN DISARRAY?

As the Democrat party is on the verge of electing a new DNC chairman, law professor and activist Alan Dershowitz says he will leave the Democrat party. Dershowitz claims that he will quit the Democrat party and become an Independent. Although he says, he is not leaving the Democrat party, the Democrat party has left him. The question remains, just how far left is the Democrat party about to go with this key vote today and are they ready for the backlash of their decision?

Alan Dershowitz is correct, the Democrat party has left many as this party has become so far fringe-left, that it is not even recognizable anymore.

There has been powerful push from the hard-left of the Democratic Party, led by Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., to elect Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., as chairman. If he is elected, I will quit the party after 60 years of loyal association and voting. I will become an independent, continuing to vote for the best candidates, most of whom, I assume, will still be Democrats. But I will not contribute to the DNC or support it as an institution.

My loyalty to my country and my principles and my heritage exceeds any loyalty to my party. I will urge other like-minded people — centrist liberals — to follow my lead and quit the Democratic Party if Ellison is elected chairman. We will not be leaving the Democratic Party we have long supported. The Democratic Party will be leaving us!

Let me explain the reasons for this difficult decision.

Ellison has a long history of sordid association with anti-Semitism. He worked with and repeatedly defended one of a handful of the most notorious and public anti-Semites in our country: The Reverend Louis Farrakhan. And worked with Farrakhan at the very time this anti-Semite was publicly describing Judaism as a gutter religion and insisting that the Jews were a primary force in the African slave trade.

Ellison has publicly stated that he was unaware of Farrakhan’s anti-Semitism. That is not a credible statement. Everyone was aware of Farrakhan’s anti-Semitism. Farrakhan did not try to hide it. Indeed, he proclaimed it on every occasion. Ellison is either lying or he willfully blinded himself to what was obvious to everyone else. Neither of these qualities makes him suitable to be the next chairman of the DNC.

Missing for 11 Years … 33 Year Old Ryan Alexander Duke Arrested & Charged with the murder of 30 Year Old Tara Grinstead

AN ARREST HAS BEEN MADE IN THE 11 YEAR OLD TARA GRINSTEAD MISSING PERSONS COLD CASE …

It has been 11 years since 30 year old Tara Grinstead went missing, but there has now been an arrest in the case. According to reports, 33 year old Ryan Alexander Duke has been arrested and charged with the murder of Tara Grinstead. The Irwin County High School teacher was 30 years old when she vanished on Oct. 22, 2005 from her home in the farm town of Ocilla, about 165 miles south of Atlanta.

An arrest has been made in connection with the killing of a Georgia school teacher and former beauty queen who went missing 11 years ago, authorities announced Thursday.

Ryan Alexander Duke, 33, has been charged with the murder of 30-year-old Tara Grinstead, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said.

Duke, a graduate of Irwin County High School where Grinstead taught history, was arrested Wednesday, officials said.

It was not immediately clear if her remains were found.

UPDATE I: Tara Grinstead: Ex-student accused of murdering missing Georgia teacher.

Ryan Alexander Duke has been arrested in connection with the death of Tara Grinstead, Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokesman J.T. Ricketson said.

Authorities said Duke was arrested Wednesday evening after a tipster came forward with new information this week.

“This gentleman (Duke) never came up on our radar through the investigation,” Ricketson said. Asked if more arrests were possible, he said, “That’s a very good question. Again, we have several more interviews to do.”

Ricketson declined to say how Grinstead and Duke knew each other and would not say if authorities know what became of Grinstead’s body.

Connie Grinstead, the missing woman’s stepmother, told reporters she thanked God “for answered prayers.”

“We always believed that it would be solved,” she said, reading a statement at the courthouse news conference. “We just did not know when.”

President Trump the following: “We will not answer to donors or lobbyists, or special interests, but we will serve the citizens of the United States of America, believe me. Global cooperation, dealing with other countries, getting along with other countries is good. But there is no such thing as a global anthem, a global currency or global flag. This is the United States of America that I am representing. I am not representing the globe, I am representing your country.”

President Trump had previously stated, “We are going to keep radical Islamic terrorists out of our country”. Trump continued to say, “I will never apologize for protecting the safety and security of the American people and the security of the American people is number one.”

Isn’t it refreshing to have a president that put’s America first and doesn’t feel the need to apologize for America?

Remember great patriots. We all salute with pride the same American flag, and we all are equal, totally equal in the eyes of almighty God. We’re equal.
