President Donald Trump Tells Business Leaders He Wants to Cut Regulations by 75%

On Monday, President Donald Trump told business leaders he believes he can cut regulations by 75 percent or “maybe more.” What a huge difference between the over-regulation of business under the Obama administration. Trump went on to say there will be protective regulations, just not ones that also are job creation killers. Trump also stated that he is looking to cut taxes as well. Like him or not, Trump is running full speed ahead and doing what he said he would do for the people.

President Donald Trump told business leaders on Monday he believes he can cut regulations by 75 percent or “maybe more.”

At the White House with 10 senior executives, he repeated his campaign pledges to roll back corporate rules, arguing that they have “gotten out of control.” A White House spokesman did not immediately respond to a request to elaborate on which rules Trump will target or how the 75 percent was calculated.

“We’re going to be cutting regulation massively,” but the rules will be “just as protective of the people,” Trump told reporters at the meeting that included Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk and Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank.

 ”What we want to do is bring manufacturing back to our country,” Trump said. “That doesn’t mean we don’t trade because we do trade. We want to make our products here.”

After the meeting, Dow Chemical CEO Andrew Liveris said the executives will come back in 30 days with suggested actions to boost American manufacturing.

Trump’s administration has already negotiated a deal with United Technologies for its Carrier unit to keep some jobs in Indiana rather than move them to Mexico, in exchange for $7 million in incentives over several years. Still, the company plans to shut down another Indiana facility and move hundreds of jobs to Mexico.

Mike Pompeo Confirmed by Senate and Sworn in as Head of CIA

Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-KS) has been confirmed by the U.S. Senate and has been sworn in as the Director of the CIA.  Pompeo is the third person appointed by President Donald Trump to be confirmed to his cabinet position, as Senate Democrats and Chuck Schumer play petty party politics in delaying Trump’s choices. The vote was 66-32. Pompeo was sworn in Monday evening by Vice President Pence.

The Senate on Monday confirmed Rep. Mike Pompeo to be director of the CIA, following a spirited debate in which Democrats expressed concern about his stances on domestic surveillance, data collection and torture.

The vote was 66 to 32, with a majority of Democrats voting no — as well as Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky.

Pompeo was subsequently sworn in.

“The president and I are confident in your abilities and know you will rise to the challenge to lead the Central Intelligence Agency,” Vice President Mike Pence said at the swearing-in.

She was eventually taken off the plane by police to the clapping of those on board and chants of USA, USA.

What should have been a quiet, uneventful flight home turned out to be anything but after a crazed anti-Trump liberal began berating a calm, collected Koteskey out of the blue.

The woman asked him if he had come to D.C. to cheer or to protest, and a respectful Koteskey replied that he “came here to celebrate democracy ma’am.”

On Saturday at the uber-liberal Woman’s march protest in Washington, DC, the over-aged and now pretty much irrelevant pop star Madonna told the crowd that, “Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.” WHAT? How is this not a terrorist threat? Sorry folks, this is not free speech. But this is what the unhinged Leftist are allowed to get away with as the liberal MSM defends such actions of violence and calls it musings. Imagine, just imagine if some one said this a day after Barack Obama was sworn into office?

“Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House … but I choose love,” Madonna said from the main stage area near the National Mall.

“I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.

Now that the heat is on the foul mouthed singer, Madonna suddenly claims that her remarks were taken “wildly out of context”. Oh, of course they were Madonna. So taken out of context as you had no problem inciting the liberal, moonbat mob on Saturday with you vile and destructive rhetoric. Just like with all free speech there are consequences to your actions. Hopefully the Secret Service will be paying you a visit.

While taking part in a protest march in Washington DC on Saturday, the singer said she had thought “an awful lot about blowing up the White House”.

Trump supporters reacted angrily, claiming that there would have been uproar if such a comment had been made about former president Barack Obama.

Madonna has now said her remarks were taken “wildly out of context”.

“Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House. But I know that this won’t change anything,” she said in her speech.

After Madonna made the comments, White House chief of staff Reince Priebus told Fox News: “One of the singers said she wanted to blow up the White House. I mean, can you imagine saying that about President Obama?”

Kellyanne Conway, a senior White House aide, described Madonna’s speech as “destructive”.

She also drew attention to some reports that the secret service had been made aware of the singer’s comments.

The era of insulting American allies is over, Obama is gone. The agitator in Chief Obama had removed the bust from the office in 2009 which sparked outrage on both sides of the Atlantic. But that is was a community agitator does and thankfully those days are now over. Is it any wonder why, from the quote below from Churchill why Obama would have removed the bust. Thankfully, the days of Obama are over and its back to the United States treating their allies with respect and their enemies with disdain.

President Trump has reinstalled a bust of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill in the Oval Office.

The bust was removed from the office in 2009 under former President Barack Obama, a move that sparked conservative ire early in his administration.

The bust was spotted by reporters in the Oval Office while Trump signed a series of executive orders, some of his first official acts as president.

Obama moved the bust out of the office up to the White House residence.

The Obama White House said the bust was removed to make room for one of former President Abraham Lincoln and another of Martin Luther King Jr.

Some Republicans and conservatives interpreted Obama’s move as a snub to the United Kingdom, one of the U.S.’s closest allies.
