CNN Poll: Donald Trump Leads Hillary Clinton 45% to 43% … Libertarian Gary Johnson at 7%, Jill Stein 2%

WELL LOOK HERE … NEW CNN POLL HAS TRUMP LEADING LYING, CROOKED HILLARY.

According to the most recent CNN poll of likely voters, Donald Trump has taken the lead over Hillary Clinton 45% to 43%.  In other important polling data, Libertarian Gary Johnson is at 7% among likely voters in this poll and the Green Party’s Jill Stein at just 2%. It appears Hillary Clinton’s lying and questionable ethical behavior as Secretary of State under Barack Obama, her emails and the incestuous relationship between the Clinton Foundation and her position as Sec. of State is coming home to roost. It would appear that Trump has come all the way back and gone ahead of Hillary Clinton. Independents give Trump an edge over Clinton by a 49% to 29% margin.

We have now hit post Labor Day politics and the time in which most Americans begin to pay attention to the presidential race. What does this mean? Everything that the liberal bias media has done and all the money that Hillary Clinton has spent has been for naught. It is an even race heading into the home stretch with Trump having the trending momentum. Hot Air makes a very important point about other polls in comparison, “look at the NBC Surveymonkey poll which also just dropped. They’ve still got Clinton with the same six point lead she enjoyed one week earlier, but NBC is still polling registered voters.” Look for this poll to drip significantly the next go around toward Trump.

The topsy-turvy campaign for the presidency has seen both Clinton and Trump holding a significant lead at some point in the last two months, though Clinton has topped Trump more often than not. Most recently, Clinton’s convention propelled her to an 8-point lead among registered voters in an early-August CNN/ORC Poll. Clinton’s lead has largely evaporated despite a challenging month for Trump, which saw an overhaul of his campaign staff, announcements of support for Clinton from several high-profile Republicans and criticism of his campaign strategy. But most voters say they still expect to see Clinton prevail in November, and 59% think she will be the one to get to 270 electoral votes vs. 34% who think Trump has the better shot at winning.

Among those likely to turn out in the fall, both candidates have secured about the same share of their own partisans (92% of Democrats back Clinton, 90% of Republicans are behind Trump) but independents give Trump an edge, 49% say they’d vote for him while just 29% of independent voters back Clinton. Another 16% back Johnson, 6% Stein.

Santa Clara Police Union Threatens To Boycott 49ers Games Over Anthem-Protesting Colin Kaepernick

THE NFL AND SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS ARE TREADING ON THIN ICE WITH THIS ONE …

The Santa Clara police union members have warned the San Francisco 49ers that they may stop providing security at their games over quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s ongoing protest against systemic racism. And so they should. If the big mouth, misinformed and misguided 49ers QB wants to mouth off and the NFL and San Francisco 49er ownership want to support him that is their right. However, it is also the police’s right to tell the team to find their own security. Honestly, who would want to provide security to an organization that thinks it is perfectly okay from one of their players to wear socks with pigs wearing police hats mocking the police?

So the NFL would not let the Dallas Cowboys remember the fallen Dallas police officers, but they allow this crap to happen. Keep it up NFL.

Santa Clara police union members have warned the San Francisco 49ers that they may stop providing security at their games over quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s ongoing protest against systemic racism.

Urging team owners to reprimand Kaepernick for sitting during the national anthem and speaking out against police violence, the union said failure to do so “could result in police officers choosing not to work at your facilities,” according to a letter obtained by NBC Bay Area.

“I’m already hearing it this week that next week on Monday Night Football, some officers are not going to work,” Santa Clara Police Officers Association president Frank Saunders told the network.

Saunders said his officers are angry that the 49ers star has spoken out against cops who have gotten “away with murder” in fatal shootings of black Americans, and that he wore socks in practice that showed pigs wearing police uniforms.

“The 49ers are allowing this to come out from an employee and it’s making for a hostile work environment for us at the stadium,” Saunders told NBC.

The team has chosen not to discipline Kaepernick for choosing to sit during “The Star Spangled Banner, citing the principles of “freedom of religion and freedom of expression.”

After Almost 27 Years After the Abduction of 11 Year Old Missing Jacob Wetterling in St. Joseph, MN … His Remains Appear to have Been Found

AFTER NEARLY 27 YEARS, JACOB WETTERLING’S REMAINS APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN FOUND …

It has been nearly 27 years since 11 year old Jacob Wetterling was abducted in St. Joseph, Minnesota; however, it now appears that the investigation in finding him may be over. The remains recovered this past week in central Minnesota are being forensically tested to determine whether they are that of missing Jacob Wetterling.  A person of interest has reportedly been cooperating with the case. According to reports, Jacob’s mother, Patty Wetterling, stated Saturday morning that her son’s remains have been found. “All I can confirm is that Jacob has been found and our hearts are broken.” The “person of interest” in the case, Danny Heinrich, has been in federal custody since late October, after authorities arrested him on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography. Some of the material featured children under the age of 12.

Almost 27 years after the abduction of 11-year-old Jacob Wetterling in Minnesota, a long trail of investigation appears to be near its end.

Remains recovered this week in central Minnesota are being tested to determine whether they are Wetterling’s. A “person of interest” in the case cooperated in the investigation, according to reports that first came from KSTP-TV, Minneapolis.

Jacob’s mother, Patty Wetterling, told KARE-TV, Minneapolis, Saturday morning that her son’s remains have been found. “All I can confirm is that Jacob has been found and our hearts are broken. I am not responding to any media yet as I have no words.”

Jacob was kidnapped shortly after 9 p.m. on the night of Oct. 22, 1989, after he and his brother, Trevor, 10, and best friend, Aaron Larson, 11, rode their bikes to a Tom Thumb store not far from the family’s rural home in St. Joseph to rent a video.

As they headed home, a masked man with a gun appeared on the remote dirt road leading to the Wetterling house, told the boys to lie face down in a nearby ditch and asked each his age. He then ordered Trevor and Aaron to run to the woods and not look back. When the boys did, Jacob and the masked man were gone.

In a statement from Patty Wetterling posted to the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center website:

“We are in deep grief. We didn’t want Jacob’s story to end this way. … The Wetterlings had a choice to walk into bitterness and anger or to walk into a light of what could be, a light of hope. Their choice changed the world. … Our hearts are heavy, but we are being held up by all of the people who have been a part of making Jacob’s Hope a light that will never be extinguished. … Jacob, you are loved.”

UPDATE I: Danny Heinrich, 53, declared him a “person of interest.”

They recovered books of child pornography, as well as a DNA sample allegedly tying Heinrich to the kidnapping and sexual assault of another Stearns County boy from the same time period. No charges can be filed in that case, however, as the statute of limitations has passed.

Heinrich’s brother, David Heinrich, his voice breaking with emotion, said Saturday that his prayers were with the Wetterling family.

“I want the Wetterlings to know I had no idea,” David Heinrich told KARE. “I am happy for them that they know — not that he’s passed, but at least they have closure.”
