All Charges Dropped Against Baltimore Officers in Freddie Gray Case … Now Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby Being Sued by Police Officers

ALL REMAINING CHARGES DROPPED AGAINST BALTIMORE POLICE OFFICERS AS POLITICAL WITCH HUNT COMES TO AN END

On Wednesday, the state’s attorney in Baltimore, Maryland did what should have been done at the outset, all remaining charges against three Baltimore police officers awaiting trial in the case of the death of Freddie Gray have been dropped. Thus ending the complete failure and political witch hunt by Baltimore state’s attorney Marilyn Mosby. In the end, Moseby was 0-6 in her rush to judgement to prosecute law enforcement and has nothing but egg on her face. This was a disgraceful prosecution meant to placate the mob and even in admitting complete in utter defeat, Marilyn Mosby still blames the system when she was soundly defeated.

Prosecutors dropped all charges Wednesday against three Baltimore police officers accused in the arrest and death of Freddie Gray, bringing to an end one of the highest-profile criminal cases in the city’s history with zero convictions.

Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby acknowledged the long odds of securing convictions in the remaining cases following the acquittals of three other officers on similar though more serious charges.

In a hearing Wednesday meant to start the trial of Officer Garrett Miller, prosecutors dropped their cases against him, Officer William Porter and Sgt. Alicia White. Circuit Judge Barry G. Williams, who had acquitted the other officers, was expected to preside over the remaining trials as well.

New York Times:

The state’s attorney here dropped all remaining charges Wednesday against three city police officers awaiting trial in the death of Freddie Gray, closing the book on one of the most closely watched police prosecutions in the nation without a single conviction — and few answers about precisely how the young man died.

The announcement ended a sweeping, deeply polarizing prosecution that began last spring, as National Guard troops rumbled through the streets, with Baltimore under curfew and residents tense after looting and riots that broke out after Mr. Gray sustained a fatal spinal cord injury in police custody.

Wednesday’s extraordinary turn put into sharp relief the wrenching national debate over race and policing, after a month of deadly shootings of black men and deadly retaliations against police officers around the nation. Just a few weeks ago, President Obama pleaded for racial healing after five police officers in Dallas were gunned down by a black Army veteran. The outcome also left the city deeply divided over whether its top prosecutor, Marilyn J. Mosby, 36, had overreached in her initial charges.

Freddie Gray officers suing prosecutor Marilyn Mosby.

Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby is going from prosecutor to civil defendant in connection with the case of the death of Freddie Gray.

On Wednesday, Mosby announced that charges against three officers still facing trial were being dropped. Mosby gave only a statement, but had to leave without taking questions because five of the officers in the case have filed lawsuits against her.

Officers Garrett Miller, Edward Nero and William Porter as well as Sgt. Alicia White and Lt. Brian Rice are suing Mosby and Maj. Samuel Cogen of the Baltimore Sheriff’s Office. Cogen was the law enforcement officer who filed charging documents against the officers.

The lawsuits allege false arrest, false imprisonment, defamation or false light, and other assertions. They were filed in U.S. District Court in Maryland in 2015 in late April and early May around the time the officers were arrested.

WikiLeaks Releases Hacked DNC Voicemails and More DNC Emails

DRIP, DRIP DRIP …

Wikileaks has now released hacked voicemails of top Democratic officials. You can listen to them HERE.

Another shoe has been dropped by Wikileaks.

On the night President Obama and Vice Presidential nominee Tim Kaine were scheduled to speak to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, the anti-secrecy whistle-blower group released hacked voicemails of top Democratic officials.

Wikileaks put up a page containing 29 mp3 files of calls, identified by phone number, running approximately 14 minutes combined.

Guccifer 2.0 releases new DNC docs.

Guccifer 2.0, the hacker who breached the Democratic National Committee, has released a cache of purported DNC documents to The Hill in an effort to refocus attention on the hack.

The documents include more than 11,000 names matched with some identifying information, files related to two controversial donors and a research file on Sarah Palin.

“The press [is] gradually forget[ing] about me, [W]ikileaks is playing for time and [I] have some more docs,” he said in electronic chat explaining his rationale.

The documents provide some insight into how the DNC handled high-profile donation scandals. But the choice of documents revealed to The Hill also provides insight into the enigmatic Guccifer 2.0.

The hacker provided a series of spreadsheets related to Norman Hsu, a Democratic donor jailed in 2009 for running a Ponzi scheme and arranging illegal campaign contributions.  The DNC responded by assembling files to gauge the exposure from Hsu to its slate of candidates.

Similar files on Paul J. Magliocchetti, a lobbyist closely associated with the late Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.), provide a quick reference document outlining Magliocchetti’s donations to Republicans. Magliocchetti pleaded guilty in 2010 to involvement in a pay-for-play campaign finance scheme.

IRS Launches Investigation Of Clinton Foundation

SORRY FOLKS, I HAVE ZERO CONFIDENCE THE IRS WILL EVER REALLY INVESTIGATE THE CLINTON’S

The Daily Caller is reporting that the IRS referred congressional charges of corrupt Clinton Foundation “pay-to-play” activities to his tax agency’s exempt operations office for investigation. According to reports, the request to investigate the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation on charges of “public corruption” was made in a July 15 letter by 64 House Republicans to the IRS, FBI and Federal Trade Commission (FTC). The lawmakers charged the Clinton Foundation is a “lawless ‘pay-to-play’ enterprise that has been operating under a cloak of philanthropy for years and should be investigated.” What a surprise, another Clinton scandal.

I still doubt whether the IRS will investigate the Clinton Foundation with any persistence, especially if she wins the White House. How is that going to work? Also, we all know what a lame investigation the IRS did with Lois Lerner and the IRS targeting conservative Tea Party organizations.

Hillary Clinton Pay for Play

IRS Commissioner John Koskinen referred congressional charges of corrupt Clinton Foundation “pay-to-play” activities to his tax agency’s exempt operations office for investigation, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

The request to investigate the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation on charges of “public corruption” was made in a July 15 letter by 64 House Republicans to the IRS, FBI and Federal Trade Commission (FTC). They charged the foundation is “lawless.”

One has to wonder if this is what WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was referring to with his promise to release more emails that would get Hillary Clinton indicted.

Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange Says ‘A Lot More Material’ Coming on US Elections … New Emails Provide “Enough Evidence” to Indict Hillary Clinton (VIDEO)

MORE EMAILS COMING SAYS THE WIKIKEAKS FOUNDER

Julian Assange, Wikileaks founder, told CNN in an interview that his website might release “a lot more material” that pertains to the US presidential campaign. Hillary Clinton, the DNC and liberals are now all waiting for the other shoe to drop. What could the next round of hacked emails look like and how damaging might they be? Assange has said the release Friday was the first in a series and the new emails would provide “enough evidence” to indict Clinton.  Hmm,  think Democrats aren’t squirming right now? Maybe this is why Bernie Sanders backed Hillary like he did, disappointing many of his supporters. For all we know, if these emails contain what the Wikileaks founder says they do, Sanders just might be the Democrat nominee after all.

Just what does Wikileaks have on Hillary Clinton?

Interview with Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange said Tuesday his whistleblowing website might release “a lot more material” relevant to the US electoral campaign.

Assange was speaking in a CNN interview following the release of nearly 20,000 emails stolen from the Democratic National Committee by suspected Russian hackers.

However, Assange refused to confirm or deny a Russian origin for the mass email leak, saying Wikileaks tries to create ambiguity to protect all its sources.

“Perhaps one day the source or sources will step forward and that might be an interesting moment some people may have egg on their faces. But to exclude certain actors is to make it easier to find out who our sources are,” Assange told CNN.
