WOW, this is beyond sad and pathetic … Media analyst Mark Dice hits the beach in San Diego, California for his 6th annual Fourth of July Man on the Street Monday interviews. And we wonder why we are in such bad shape … Good Grief, YIKES!!!

They do not teach history and civics in California. It is social studies with a big emphasis on PC behavior. California lags most states in scholastic achievement by two years. I know from sad experience.
Three of my grandchildren attended school there. As teens I had to teach them the name of the Capitol city of California among other important historical concepts.
Children in my generation knew this by Christmas break in first grade.
It now appears that California is not alone in producing people who do not know anything about the history of their country. Jessie Waters in his “Waters World” segment of the Bill O’Reilly show on Fox news just proved that the majority of the students he interviewed on the beach didn’t known anything either. He admitted to Bill that most of them were students at the University of Maryland.
From coast to coast, we have people who know nothing about their country and its history. The current generation is in general the most ignorant ever.
