Democrat Primary: Bernie Sander Wallops Hillary Clinton in Oregon, Virtual Tie in Kentucky … Sanders Continues Party Divison (VIDEO)
BERNIE SANDERS JUST WILL NOT GO AWAY …
With the Republican primary all but over and a forgone conclusion, the focus shifts to the Democrat primary and Hillary Clinton’s inability to close the deal. Last night self proclaimed socialist and what we refer to as a Marxist, Bernie Sanders, defeated Hillary Clinton in the Democrat Oregon primary 53% to 47%. Sanders’ victory was his 21st of the election cycle and his 11th in the past 17 contests. In Kentucky, the race was a virtual tie, with Clinton winning in the end by the narrowest of margins. The only reason why she won was because this was a closed primary. Had independents been allowed to vote, Hillary would have easily lost Kentucky.
Bernie Sanders mini-winning streak ended Tuesday night in Kentucky, a state analysts expected he could win.
The loss could take some wind out of supporters’ sails at a critical time as they face increasing pressure to unify the Democratic Party behind likely nominee Hillary Clinton.
But it was a mixed night for the candidates. Sanders pulled out a comfortable single-digit win in Oregon, where he is likely to walk away with a solid block of delegates.
The outcome will have negligible impact on either candidate’s path to the nomination, thanks to Democrats’ proportional delegate allocation system.
The MSM tries to portray the GOP as the party of disarray and contention; however, we can plainly see that honor really belongs to the Democrat party. Bernie Sanders will not go away and in fact his crowds seems to be getting larger and more vocal.
