TSA to Stop Accepting Drivers Licenses from Minnesota, Illinois, Missouri, New Mexico, Washington State and American Samoa in 2018 as Proper ID

UM, WHAT EXACTLY IS SOME ONE TO USE THEIR STUDENT ID?

Effective January 22, 2018, air travelers with a driver’s license or identification card issued by a state that does not meet the requirements of the REAL ID Act, must present an alternative form of identification acceptable to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in order to board a commercial domestic flight. Those states and territories currently not meeting this requirement are Minnesota, Illinois, Missouri, New Mexico, Washington and American Somoa.

Because let’s just think its perfectly okay for all of those states that don’t seem to be on this list that issue drivers licenses to illegals. But that’s perfectly fine.

I actually have an issue with this on a couple of levels. One, who the hell is the federal government to tell a state how they are to issue state  driver’s licenses? There is no way the feds have any such power to do so. What ever happened to state’s rights in this country? Second, what is the other TSA acceptable form of ID, a utility bill, a credit card or how about one’s school or library ID? Obviously, I am being sarcastic, but I would imagine a proper ID would be a US Passport. Guess what both of those require as a form of proof of ID to get, … a drivers license

Airline passengers in five states and a U.S. territory will be unable to present their current driver’s licenses at airport checkpoints after Jan. 22, 2018, under new rules announced on Friday by the Department of Homeland Security.

The Homeland Security department, which overseas the TSA, said it would begin enforcing a post-Sept. 11 law that directs federal agencies to only accept state-issued identifications that meet federal security standards that were enacted in 2005.

Most states have either adopted the more secure driver’s licenses, known as REAL IDs, or have plans to do so later this year. But Minnesota, Illinois, Missouri, New Mexico, Washington state and American Samoa have not moved to make their driver’s licenses compliant with the new federal standard, meaning airline passengers from those states will have to present other forms of identification at TSA checkpoints.

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said Friday that states will have two years to bring their driver’s licenses and identifications up to code before the new mandate takes effect.

“Bottom line up front: Effective January 22, 2018, air travelers with a driver’s license or identification card issued by a state that does not meet the requirements of the REAL ID Act (unless that state has been granted an extension to comply with the Act) must present an alternative form of identification acceptable to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in order to board a commercial domestic flight,” he said in a statement.

New Survey Shows Nearly 20% of Likely Democratic Voters Would Vote for Donald Trump Than Hillary Clinton

MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT, HILLARY CLINTON IS NO GUARANTEE FOR DEMOCRATS …

According to a recent survey by Washington-based Mercury Analytics, 20% of likely Democrat voters say they would cross sides and vote for Donald Trump. Could The Donald actually peal away discontent Democrat voters who have been provided no viable options by their party? Although I would have to some what question the so-called 14% of Republicans that claim they’d vote for Clinton. First, if so, they need to have their heads examined and the GOP cards taken away from them. Second, such a claim does not fit the political environment of trending toward political outsiders and against the party in power. However, if so, it does go to show you what is wrong with the Republican party in that they would ever consider voting for a corrupt, lying, Washington insider like Hillary.

A new survey of likely voters might at least raise momentary dyspepsia for Democrats since it suggests why it wouldn’t be a cakewalk.

The survey by Washington-based Mercury Analytics is a combination online questionnaire and “dial-test” of Trump’s first big campaign ad among 916 self-proclaimed “likely voters” (this video shows the ad and the dial test results). It took place primarily Wednesday and Thursday and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percent.

Nearly 20 percent of likely Democratic voters say they’d cross sides and vote for Trump, while a small number, or 14 percent, of Republicans claim they’d vote for Clinton. When those groups were further broken down, a far higher percentage of the crossover Democrats contend they are “100 percent sure” of switching than the Republicans.

15 year old Megan Nicole Mchone has been missing since Friday, January 8, 2016 from Troutman, North Carolina. Mchone was last seen Friday morning at South Iredell High School.

Megan Nicole Mchone, 15, was last seen Friday morning at South Iredell High School.

According to police, she is 5-foot-7, approximately 118 pounds, has black hair, and brown eyes. She has a scar under her left eye and on her stomach. She also has her tongue, lip, and nose pierced.

Megan was last seen wearing a black sweater, blue jeans, and black knee-high boots.

49 Year Old Scott D. Stockert Arrested on Weapons Charge in Alleged Plot to kidnap Obama’s Dog

49 year old Scott D. Stockert has been arrested on a weapons charge in connection with an alleged plot to kidnap one of Barack Obama’s  Portuguese water dogs. Oh my. Stockert was arrested in DC on Wednesday after agents found two firearms under the back seat, a 12-gauge pump shotgun and a bolt-action .22-caliber rifle. How bizarre, Bo or Sunny could have been the first First family dogs ever kidnapped had this plot had not been stopped. As you can guess, Scott D. Stockert is not operating with a full deck. Upon his arrest, Scott D. Stockert, commented to authorities that he was Jesus Christ, that he was the son of John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe, that he planned to run for president. Well alrighty then.

A man who allegedly plotted to kidnap one of the Obama family’s dogs was arrested in the District on Wednesday with a cache of weapons and ammunition in his car, the Secret Service said.

Upon his arrest, Scott D. Stockert, 49, of Dickinson, N.D., made a series of outlandish claims to officers: that he was Jesus Christ, that he was the son of John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe, that he planned to run for president, and that he was there to kidnap Bo or Sunny, the Obamas’ dogs, the Secret Service said in a court document.

According to a filing in D.C. Superior Court, the Minnesota field office of the Secret Service first learned of Stockert’s intention to kidnap one of the Obamas’ Portuguese water dogs.

When agents asked him whether he had any weapons, he told them he had two firearms in his truck and directed them to the truck.

Agents found the two firearms under the back seat — a 12-gauge pump shotgun and a bolt-action .22-caliber rifle. They learned that he was not registered to own a gun and arrested him, the court document said.

They also found more than 350 rounds of ammunition, a billy club and a machete with a 12-inch blade.

54 Year Old Lisa Marie Missing Since 1/5/16 in Blaine, MN

54 year old Lisa Marie has been missing since January, 5, 2016 in Blaine, Minnesota. Lisa Marie was last seen leaving her home on the 800 block of 129 Ave. NE at about 6:30 p.m. on January 5. She is considered to be at risk due to her struggles with mental issues.

Investigators say 54-year-old Lisa Marie left her home on the 800 block of 129th Ave. Northeast on foot Wednesday and has not been seen since. Marie may be struggling with mental health concerns, and law enforcement believe her well-being is at risk.

Lisa Marie is 5 feet 3 inches tall, and was last seen wearing a longer tan coat, a tan long sleeve shirt, jeans and white winter boots.
