NYC Marathoner Gianclaudio P. Marengo Missing After Crossing Finish Line in New York City on 11/1/15
An Italian national, 30 year old Gianclaudio P. Marengo, has been missing since Sunday, November 1, 2015 after crossing the finish like of the New York City marathon in NYC. Marengo was last seen in his running clothes just after 3 p.m. at the finish line inside Central Park. According to the NY Post, Marengo does not speak English and suffers from a mental disability, traveled to New York with a group of Italian runners and had been staying at the Sleep Inn Hotel in Long Island City.
The 5-foot-8, 150-pound Marengo, who only speaks Italian, was last seen wearing a turquoise shirt, black shorts, and a Marathon racing bib with the number 23781 on it, cops said. The bib has a GPS tracker on it, but it doesn’t work off the course.
Police say an Italian man has been missing since crossing the finish line of the New York City Marathon Sunday.
Gianclaudio P. Marengo, an Italian national, was last seen at the finish line of the marathon at about 3 p.m. inside Central Park, police said. He was wearing bib no. 23781.
Marengo, who is 30 and only speaks Italian, had been staying at the Sleep Inn Hotel in Long Island City, Queens.
