NBC News’ Brian Williams Asks Former CIA Director Hayden: “How Are We Better Than our Enemies Morally?” … REALLY?
THE IDIOCY OF THE LIBERAL MSM …
UNBELIEVABLY, NBC’s Brian Williams actually asked former CIA Director Michael Hayden, following the release of the partisan Democrat Senate Intelligence Committee report on the CIA’s enhanced interrogation techniques under the Bush administration, “How are we better than our enemies morally in light of what we all read about today?” Seriously folks, the liberal MSM actually asked how we are morally better than those who rape and kill women and children, and those who take pleasure in cutting people’s heads off.
Williams then went on to smugly ask, “how he’d feel about the techniques he supported if they were done to his family?” Hayden then put the liberal hack and those of his ilk in their place by responding, “I actually think that my outrage, if that were ever done to one of my family members, would be somewhat muted if my family member had just killed 3,000 of my citizens.”
Transcript:
Brian Williams: How are we better than our enemies morally in light of what we all read about today?
Michael Hayden: Well, let me give you a startling statement, Brian. And look, everyone knows these things were very tough. I got involved in this very late in the program. I endorsed their use going forward in a very minimized form. So these decisions aren’t taken lightly by anyone, believe me…. As bad as some people think the CIA behavior was with regard to these 100 or so detainees, if everyone on the planet used CIA behavior as the model the world would actually improve.
Hey Brian William, do you remember these terrorist stories?
- Al-Qaeda-inspired Islamist terrorists slaughtered soldier ‘like a piece of meat’ in brutal murder.
- VIDEO Shows ISIS Beheading Another American Journalist Hostage, This Time Steven Sotloff
- ISIS VIDEO Appears to Show Another Brutal Beheading … This Time It is British Hostage & Aid Worker David Haines

I’ve noticed over the years that throwing due process out the window in order to advance an agenda is most consistent with those proclaiming to be conservative or that lean right.
This same argument seems to hold true in many constitutional arguments as well which range from anchor babies to Executive power to big government to voter disenfranchisement to on and on and on.
obama is trying to seek approval for his secret release of guatamino terrorists and he will never get it.
There’s was no reason to release these documents many yrs later, and why now? It’s the holidays for us not a time to think we should be a better America, according to obama, the traitor. He wants to cause as much grief and trouble as he can, make an even bigger mess for the upcoming Congress and Senate. He will destroy anyway he can.
Cause more fear for our country with terrorism. He’s a time bomb on legs, a mouth and a head full of hatred for America. He’s on soros’ agenda.
Sorry obama and hillary, we don’t have empathy for the enemies and serve them cavair and champagne.
Remember when obama said 911 was our fault!
Brian Williams, how would you feel if a member of your family was beheaded by your terrorist friends ?
Williams—your gig line is off—because of—you guessed it– your ugly crooked nose.
Since none of those tortured were accused or directly implicated in either 9/11 or other attacks, this is a specious and sophistic technique of misdirection. We do not routinely torture every criminal suspect in custody to extract information, and when we profess to live and abide by these more civilized criteria, spelled out succinctly in our Constitution and Bill of Rights, and numerous amendments and laws later enacted, we are claiming a higher moral ground. The instant we toss these high-falutin’ morals aside for any special specific subset of perpetrators, we are truly worse than our enemies – because, as horrific as their criminal acts are, they may at least be true to their beliefs, whereas our holy sacred standards are revealed as BS the instant we ignore them.
Quick hypothetical for ya – how many blonde, blue-eyed types did we torture to ferret out Hitler in WWII? Try and convince me there’s no racial subtext to the CIA interrogations.
