22 Year Old Thomas Lang Missing Since 12/18/13 While Hiking in the Area of Oak Creek Canyon, AZ

22 year old Thomas Lang has been missing since December 18, 2013 when his father dropped him off at Manzanita Campground in the Oak Creek Canyon area with only water and a sleeping bag. It was a planned 5 day hike as he went into the woods  without a cellphone or any food because he was fasting. Thomas Lang was last seen at the Manzanita Campground in Oak Creek Canyon north of Sedona. Lang is described as a 6-foot-1 male, weighing about 140 pounds with long blond hair and dreadlocks.

The official search for 22-year-old Thomas Lang, a hiker reported missing outside Sedona more than a week ago, has been suspended.

Search coordinator Rex Gilliland, chief deputy of the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office, said the official effort was put on hold late Thursday after another daylong search came up empty.

Lang was last seen Dec. 18, when his father dropped him off at Manzanita Campground in the Oak Creek Canyon area with only water and a sleeping bag. Authorities on Thursday said Lang set out on the trip without food because he was “fasting.”

“To what extent and why, we don’t know,” Dwight D’Evelyn, a spokesman for the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, told the Associated Press. “But he did not take food with him. That’s been made very clear.”

Gilliland said Lang’s family members will likely continue the search for the young man who was expected to return from his hiking and camping trip last Sunday.

US DOJ Charges White Suspect, 27 Year Old Conrad Alvin Barrett, for “Knockout Game” Targeting 79 Year Old Black Man in Texas

The President Barack Obama/Attorney General Eric Holder US Department of Justice is finally going to charge an individual in connection with the “Knockout” game with a hate crime … of course the punk suspect is white.

The DOJ for the the southern district of Texas has arrested and charged 27 year old  Conrad Alvin Barrett with a “hate crime” in connection with the “knockout game” assault of a 79 year old man. According to reports, Barrett recorded himself on his cellphone attacking the 79 year old man, laughing and saying “Knockout” as he ran away. Might this be a hate crime? Yes, it may just be, but what is ridiculous and borders on pathetic is the fact that an overwhelming majority of this sick “knockout game” epidemic has been black on white crime and any mention of a “hate crime” is taboo. Personally, its pretty sick for a 27 year old to break the jaw of an elderly, frail man no matter who is what color.

However, in this administration it appears that color always does matter. As the Jawa Report opines, so what makes this case so unique that the DOJ would finally charge one of these punks with a “hate crime,” why the victim is black.

Federal authorities said Thursday they have arrested and charged a Texas man in connection with the “knockout game,” accusing him of a hate crime for targeting a black man for a vicious street attack.

Most knockout victims that have appeared in news reports have been white, but the Justice Department said in this instance the victim was a 79-year-old black man, and stepped in with federal charges.

“Suspected crimes of this nature will simply not be tolerated,” said Kenneth Magidson, the U.S. attorney for the southern district of Texas. “Evidence of hate crimes will be vigorously investigated and prosecuted with the assistance of all our partners to the fullest extent of the law.”

The Justice Department said it filed a criminal complaint against 27-year-old Conrad Alvin Barrett on Tuesday and arrested him on Thursday.

According to Justice officials, Mr. Barrett recorded himself on his cellphone attacking the 79-year-old man, laughing and saying “Knockout” as he runs away.

The 79-year-old man had his jaw broken in the Nov. 24 attack.

No one is saying that this assault probably was not a hate crime as the suspect said and did some pretty incriminating things. The issue is, why aren’t assaults with regards to the knockout game when it is black on white considered a hate crime? It is just another case of the Obama administration causing strife amongst the races.

Investigators say they only found out about the case because Barrett was showing off the video at a bar in Fulshear the night of the attack. He allegedly showed it to an off-duty police officer he’d just met.

On his phone, authorities found not only the video of the attack but 10 others, including one where Barrett allegedly says, “The plan is to see if I were to hit a black person, would this be nationally televised?”

He also makes derogatory statements toward African Americans, including one video in which he says that they “haven’t fully experienced the blessing of evolution.”

In his defense, Barrett’s attorney, George Parnham, says his client has severe mental health issues, that he’s bi-polar and on heavy medication.

Muslim cleric Abu Musaab Wajdi Akkari told his supporters saying “Merry Christmas” was worse than fornication, alcohol or murder.  Why of course it is, NOT!!! Yup, this Muslim cleric is stating that saying “Merry Christmas” is worse than fornication, drinking alcohol, and killing someone. I guess we now get an understanding of just how radical Islam condones murdering people, especially Christians.

I am guessing that Abu Musaab Wajdi Akkari didn’t get the Pope’s Christmas memo.  However, mum is the word from Jesse Jackson, GLAAD and NOW.

UPS & FEDEX Draw Fire From Customers After Packages Fail to be Delivered by Christmas … Wonder If Americans & the MSM Will Do the Same with Obamacare?

NBC News referred to FEDEX and UPS as “The Grinch” … I wonder if they will do the same with Barack Obama as millions of Americans will not have insurance coverage on January 1, 2014?

UPS and FEDEX are certainly to blame for not properly forecasting the volume of delivery packages that they would have to deliver this holiday season. On-line shopping is becoming more and more the way to go as many individuals no longer want to deal with the insanity of malls and simply want to point and click. Also, with the continues recession and bad economy for the common folk, many were forced to ship gifts rather than travel to grandma’s house.

Of course this is a PITA, especially if one purchased way ahead of time and thought they had a guarantee that the packages would be delivered to their destination on time. Trying to tell a child that Santa had a backlog of presents just does not quite cut it. Even Cindy Loo Who didn’t really buy the light out on the Christmas tree lie when the Grinch said, “there is a light on the tree that would not light on one side and he was bringing it back to his workshop.” However, that being said … it is not the end of the world. What is a little more important and affects your lives in a much worse way is having your insurance canceled or prices driven up because of Obamacare and not knowing even if you have signed up and enrolled, you have no idea whether you even have coverage. No one forced you to use FEDEX or UPS and if not, pay a tax. The same could not be said for Obamacare.

Although many people are giving UPS and FEDEX  a piece of their mind on Twitter and Social media and it is much worse than STINK, STANK, STUNK!!!

An unexpected surge of online orders in the past few weeks appears to have strained the limits of delivery and fulfillment infrastructure at retailers and parcel carriers. While instances of bad weather, Web glitches and late deliveries from manufacturers also played a part, the sheer volume may have been the problem, according to retail analysts.

United Parcel Service Inc. determined late Tuesday that it wouldn’t be able to get some goods to customers in time for Christmas, as a spike in last-minute shopping demand overwhelmed its system.

“The volume of air packages in the UPS system did exceed capacity as demand was much greater than our forecast,” spokeswoman Susan Rosenberg said in response to questions. UPS delivers around 45% of U.S. packages and saw more shipments enter its air network on Monday than the 7.75 million it expected.

Thousands of Americans awoke to find that special something missing from beneath the Christmas tree Wednesday, a day after UPS acknowledged getting swamped by the seasonal cheer and failing to deliver orders in time.

Now, rival FedEx appears to share the blame for the holiday that wasn’t.

“We’re sorry that there could be delays and we’re contacting affected customers who have shipments available for pickup,” Scott Fiedler, a spokesman for FedEx, told the Associated Press Wednesday.

Pressed Christmas afternoon, a supervisor at 1-800-GoFedex, the customer support line, went further in a call with NBC News. He declined to give his last name, citing company policy, but acknowledged “extraordinary” delays at the shipping giant and said his team had been apologizing to customers.

“We give our apologies to customers,” he told NBC News, noting that bad weather had crippled planes and delivery trucks and unforeseen demand swamped what vehicles remained in operation.

That mirrors what UPS first acknowledged on Tuesday, as the complaints piled up and packages failed to arrive.

According to the teen’s mother, Victoria Jackson never came home from school and she believes that here daughter was tricked by a man she met on a social media website. Texas Equusearch is aiding in the search for the missing girl.
