20 year old Heather Elvis was reported missing Thursday night by her father; however, Heather Elvis was last seen at her parents house on Tuesday night, December 17, and the last time her cell phone pinged was Wednesday morning, December 18 at 3 a.m. Heather stopped by her parents’ house Tuesday to pick up mail; however, did not show up or call in for her scheduled shift Friday afternoon at the Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery. Her last known location was was at 2 a.m. near Whiteriver Drive just off of River Oaks Drive in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Heather Elvis’s car was found abandoned in a parking area in Socastee on Thursday.

One boat from the Department of National Resources was out on patrol on the Intracoastal Waterway searching for the missing person, said Sergeant Nate Hutson with DNR. Lt. Kegler confirmed that DNR was assisting them in their search.
According to Terry Elvis, Heather’s latest phone call was made at about 3 a.m. Wednesday morning. She stopped by her parents’ house Tuesday to pick up mail. She works at a restaurant, but did not show up or call in for her scheduled shift Friday afternoon, her father said.

17 year old Claire Davis has passed away today, Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 4:29 pm local time with her family by her side. Claire Davis was critically shot eight days ago with a shotgun by a fellow student, Karl Pierson, at school in Centennial, Colorado. She has tragically passed away as doctors stated that her injuries were just too severe to save her life. God Bless Claire Davis, her family, friends and loved ones. Our prayers and condolences go out to the family that they may find peace in the loss of their blessed child.

It is with heavy hearts that we share that a 4:29 p.m. this afternoon, Claire Davis passed away, with her family at her side. Despite the best efforts of our physicians and nursing staff, and Claire’s fighting spirit, her injuries were too severe and the most advanced medical treatments could not prevent this tragic loss of life. Claire’s death is immensely heartbreaking for our entire community, our staff and our families.
The Davis family would like to thank everyone who have sent their best wishes and prayers, and are grateful for the kindness and support of the community. They know that you all are mourning with them, and again request privacy during this time of grief.

It is with unspeakable sadness that we write and say that Claire has passed away from the gunshot wound she received at Arapahoe High School on December 13, 2013. Although we have lost our precious daughter, we will always be grateful for the indelible journey she took us on over the last 17 years—we were truly blessed to be Claire’s parents. The grace, laughter and light she brought to this world will not be extinguished by her death; to the contrary, it will only get stronger.
Last week was truly a paradox in that we lost our daughter, yet we witnessed the wonderful love that exists in the world through the tremendous outpouring of support we received. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the first responders, the school resource officer, security guard and vice principal at Arapahoe High School, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s office, and the physicians, nurses and staff at Littleton Adventist Hospital. Each played a significant role in giving Claire a chance to live, and demonstrated extreme amounts of professionalism, courage and love. Please know that we will never forget the extraordinary work you did on Claire’s behalf.
We ask that you give us time to grieve the death of our daughter by respecting our wishes for privacy.

New York state Assemblyman Dennis Gabryszak (D-Cheektowaga) has been accused of sexual harassment by three former female staffers according to court papers (see document here) filed in the State Court of Claims. According to the story, , “a minimum of two additional former employees’’ of the lawmaker “will be coming forward in the near future and will be bringing allegations similar to those’’ of the three women who just filed their harassment complaint. Dennis Gabryszak is 62 years old, was first elected to the Assembly in 2006 and has been married to his wife for 37 years. Well for now as both of those things on his bio might be going bye-bye.

Assemblyman Dennis Gabryszak is being accused of sexually harassing three now-former legislative staffers, according to court papers filed Thursday.
Gabryszak, D-Cheektowaga, is the subject of three separate complaints by former aides, all in their 20s, who accuse him of making repeated sexually charged comments and suggestions to female staffers and, in the case of one, bringing her to a massage parlor in her first two weeks on the job.
The allegations include claims that Gabryszak told one female staffer he has a tattoo on his penis and that he showered one woman with gifts and offered her a well-paying job in Buffalo after learning that she had become engaged – a revelation that allegedly upset the assemblyman.
Within hours of the allegations surfacing, Gabryszak was already losing key Democratic Party support. “If these allegations are even close to being true, the Assembly member should resign immediately and spare the community from further embarrassment,’’ said Jeremy Zellner, the chairman of the Erie County Democratic Party

Married-with-children Assemblyman Dennis Gabryszak, 62, tormented three workers with lewd antics such as sending a video of himself supposedly receiving oral sex, suggesting they shack up with him in hotels and talking about a tattoo on his penis, new court documents charge.
“I got a boner when I walked into the office today when I saw you,” the seven-year assemblyman allegedly drooled to his then-director of communications, Annalise C. Freling, 28, last year at a governor’s event, according to court papers filed Thursday.
“You’re so hot, you know what I want to do with you,” he allegedly said.

Friday morning on ‘The Morning Joe,’ Matthews named Barack Obama the political loser of the year for 2013. How painful must that have been for Chris Matthews to say, rather than acting like a school girl with a crush and a thrill running up his leg. Maybe Mathews just hadn’t enough coffee that morning and had a moment of weakness where he was actually telling the truth. Many liberals are going to have an introspective in evaluating Barack Obama and the failure that has been his presidency as his poll numbers near the 30′s. How difficult will it be for Chris Mathews, the rest of the liberal MSM and Democrats to admit … he [Obama] is not the one they were waiting for.
“Terrible year for the president. I mean, it’s terrible,” he said.
Joe Scarborough agreed that it has been a “terrible year” for Obama after there was “so much hope” following his second inauguration.

CNN/ORC International Poll: Barack Obama Ends 2013 With All-Time Job Approval of 41% Approve, 56% Disapprove
No wonder Barack Obama wants to get away …
The latest CNN ORC International poll has President Barack Obama at an all-time low job approval rating at year end. Obama’s job approval is at a dismal 41% approval and 56% disapproval. This polling numbers a disaster across the board as he has lost women, independents, moderates, every age demographic, including millennials, and those polled had or did not have a college education. What else though would one expect from a president who has been caught in several scandals and even worse, lied to the American public. Heading into 2014, Obama is damaged goods and nothing more than toxic as the American people know they can no longer trust Obama as he has shown on more than one occasion be dishonest. However, the lie of being able to keep one’s healthcare plan if they liked it, period was a lie too far.
The 2014 midterm election look to be another Democrat shellacking, if the establishment, RINO Republicans don’t manage to mess it up.

In the afterglow of his 2012 re-election victory, Obama’s rating stood at 55% in CNN polling in January. That number ranged from the upper 40s to the low 50s through May in CNN and most other national polling, but steadily declined in the following months as Obama dealt with one controversy after another, from NSA surveillance and IRS targeting of political groups to the disastrous startup of HealthCare.gov and the controversy over millions of Americans being told they would lose their current insurance plans because they didn’t meet stands mandated by the new health care law.
According to the poll, which was released Friday, 40% say they disapprove of the President because they say his policies and actions have been too liberal, with 12% saying they disapprove because he hasn’t been liberal enough.
“The growth in negative views of the President comes almost equally from the left and the right,” CNN Polling Director Keating Holland said. “Not surprisingly, the number of Americans who disapprove of him because he is too liberal is up six points since the start of the year. But the number of Americans who disapprove of him because he has not been liberal enough is up almost as much since January, indicating that his slide is due as much to disappointment as it is anger.”
