Second Suspect Arrested in Beating Death of WWII Veteran Delbert Belton … 16 Year Old Kenan Adams-Kinard Arrested
A second suspect has been arrested in the beating death of 88 year old Delbert Belton. Authorities said Adams-Kinard was arrested just after 3:00 a.m. Monday morning in a basement apartment on West Montgomery Avenue and North Stevens Street without incident. Police said three other arrests were made with Adams-Kinard for charges of rendering criminal assistance. 16-year-old Demetrius Glenn had been previously arrested in the beating death of Delbert Belton.
Police have arrested 16-year-old Kenan Adams-Kinard less than a week after the alleged beating death of World War II veteran Delbert Belton.
Adams-Kinard is the second suspect along with 16-year-old Demetrius Glenn accused of killing 88-year-old Belton. Glenn is expected to have his first appearance in court on Monday, August 26th.
“We’re confident we’ve built a very strong case against both individuals,” said Spokane Police Chief Frank Straub in a press conference Monday morning.
