Child’s Remains at DiMaggio’s Burned Home ID’d as 8 Year Old Ethan Anderson, Declared Deceased … Search Continues for James DiMaggio and Missing 16 Year Old Hannah Anderson
Speculation is over … Ethan Anderson dead, ID’d as second victim in burned out DiMaggio home.
The remains of the second victim at James DiMaggio’s burned down home, previously described as that of a child, have been positively identified as 8 year old Ethan Anderson. The body had been too badly burned for initial identification. It was a DNA analysis of bone marrow that confirmed the ID. It was widely speculated that the unidentified second victim, along with the mother Christina Anderson, in the burned rubble was that of Ethan. Earlier in the investigation the father of the missing children had put forth a plea to James DiMaggio and only referenced to let his daughter Hannah go. It was the opinion of many at that point that 8 year old Ethan might have already been dead. Sadly, he was. Rest in peace Ethan Anderson.
Remains ID’d as Ethan Anderson … RIP
The remains found in the burned-out house of fugitive James DiMaggio are those of 8-year-old Ethan Anderson, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said.
The body of Ethan’s mother, Christina Anderson, had been identified earlier as a second victim of the house fire.
There was a likelihood from the beginning that one of the remains found in the house were Ethan, but it took a DNA analysis of bone marrow to confirm it.
The manhunt continues for the double murder and kidnapping suspect James DiMaggio and search for 16 year old Hannah Anderson.

When the deaths of Hannah’s mother and brother are considered and … when the words of Hannah’s friend is considered … I cannot comprehend the statement released by San Diego Sheriff Bill Gore. What is he implying? Compliance and free will are not the same. Could it be that all the underlying dynamics that led up to this tragedy is not being revealed?

Missing California teen Hannah Anderson ‘creeped out’ by kidnapping suspect’s crush, her friend say
SATURDAY, AUGUST 10, 2013
The girl’s friend, 15-year-old Marissa Chavez, said DiMaggio told Anderson he had a crush on her and would have liked to date her if they were the same age. Chavez said Anderson was leery of DiMaggio and felt uncomfortable riding alone with him to gymnastics meets.
“She was a little creeped out by it. She didn’t want to be alone with him,” Chavez said.
Anderson asked Chavez to accompany her on the drives, and DiMaggio caught them exchanging glances a couple of months before the girl’s disappearance. Marissa said DiMaggio told the teens he didn’t want them to think he was weird.

FBI turns to Idaho wilderness experts for information on where to search for teen, suspect
August 10, 2013
“We called upon them because they’re the experts,” said Andrea Dearden, a spokeswoman with the Ada County Sheriff’s Office. ….
It’s unclear whether DiMaggio might have scoped out the area earlier. San Diego officials said he bought camping gear there two weeks ago and they believe he had the abduction planned out.
“We don’t know if they have supplies (stashed) in other areas of the wilderness,” Dearden said.

Could it be that investigators are considering the possibility the Hannah is a willing participant? Maybe I am reading too much into the statements of San Diego Sheriff Bill Gore and Ada County Sheriff’s ofifce spokeswoman Andrea Dearden.
