Man Hunt for Kidnapping & Murder Suspect James DiMaggio May be Armed and Car Rigged with Improvised Explosives & Home Made Bombs … Search Continues for Missing 16 year old Hannah Anderson & her 8 year old Brother Ethan
The man hunt continues for kidnapping and murder suspect, 40 year old James Lee DiMaggio, who is accused of abducting 16 year old Hannah Anderson and her 8 year old brother Ethan. DiMaggio is already the prime suspect in the murder of Christina Anderson, the mother of missing Hannah and Ethan. She was found dead in the burned out home of DiMaggio. Her death has been ruled a homicide. An AMBER ALERT was initially issued for the two missing children on August 8, 2013 in So Cal. However, the Amber Alerts have been since expanded to Oregon, Washington and Nevada. DiMaggio could be headed to Canada or Texas to enter Mexico. In other words, he could be any where.
Authorities are now warning the public that James Lee DiMaggio could be armed and dangerous and not to approach him on your own. DiMaggio could be armed with improvised explosives and home made bombs. He may have also rigged his vehicle, 2013 blue Nissan Versa with the California license plate 6WCU986, with bombs.
Kidnapping and murder suspect James DiMaggio, sought in a national manhunt, may be armed with improvised explosives or may have rigged his car with them, San Diego County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Jan Caldwell said Thursday.
“Working on the theory that he abandoned the car, we think there is a possibility that the car might be rigged,” Caldwell said. “So we want to put out there for civilian safety, for officer safety, if you see the car, do not approach it but call law enforcement.”
Authorities made the announcement as they search for DiMaggio, who is suspected of abducting as many as two children after killing their mother in a fire. On Wednesday night, Nevada became the fourth state to issue an Amber Alert for the suspected child kidnapper. California, Oregon and Washington also issued the high alert.
DiMaggio enjoyed camping and hiking, so “there is a possibility he could be hunkered down somewhere in a rural area — not just in southern California but anywhere up and down the state, the Northwest, Canada and down in Mexico,” Caldwell said.
