Florida State Attorney Angela Corey in Interview with CNN/HLN Following Jury “Not Guilty” Verdict Calls George Zimmerman … ‘Murderer’
This goes beyond sour grapes, this is an out of control Florida State attorney who should probably be disbarred.
In an interview with HLN’s Vinnie Politan, prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda and Florida State attorney Angela Corey was asked to describe George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin in one word. Even after a jury of six woman from Seminole county deliberated for 16 1/2 hours and came back with a “NOT GUILTY” verdict as they dismissed that George Zimmerman had committed second degree murder or manslaughter. Florida State Attorney Angela Corey describe George Zimmerman in one word … murderer. Really? So much for the for those who are supposed to be responsible officers of the court respecting the verdict of the jury. It is extremely sad that Angela Corey and Bernie de la Rionda have turned their back on Florida law, what they are supposed to uphold and represent and they act like spoiled babies when they do not get the verdict they want. Their answer is to question and basically smear the integrity of the jury and the decision they made. A note to the prosecution, next time prove your case or charge it with something you could convict on. Better yet, send it to a grand jury, that is what they are there for.
How does this woman still have a job? And for those of you who have the opinion that Zimmerman was guilty and should have been charged with something, Angela Corey is a danger to you as well. What happens when the shoes on the other foot and you are on her wrong side? If she is willing to present murder two charges against some one who should never have been charged, whatcha gunna do when she comes for you?
From WCYB, Prosecutor to HLN: Zimmerman a ‘murderer’. Talk about your sour grapes. The prosecution put on a poor evidential case that existed solely on sympathy and emotion. It was one of the weakest cases I have ever seen a prosecution present. Keep in mind, I support prosecutors and probably have only sided with the defense maybe 1% of the time. But this case was flawed from the outset as it was more political than criminal. The fact that the prosecution withheld evidence from the defense did not help matters. Because of the race baiters and an all too willing liberal media that was ready to get a white defendant who killed an unarmed boy, pictured as 12 years old child, the fix was in. Couple that with a doctored 911 tape that portrayed George Zimmerman to be a racist and profiling Martin. But there was just two huge problems with the state’s case that they still today refuse to accept, George Zimmerman was not the KKK, he was Hispanic, albeit a “white” Hispanic and he acted in self defense.
How would Florida State Attorney Angela Corey describe George Zimmerman in one word?
“Murderer.”
That’s what an emotional Corey told HLN’s Vinnie Politan when she sat down with fellow prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda and Politan in Jacksonville Monday to discuss the obstacles they faced prosecuting the former neighborhood watch captain.
“We were left with inconsistent witnesses in terms of what actually happened and (Zimmerman’s) story, and what we’re trying to prove is that his story was false,” said de la Rionda.
The lack of reliable eyewitness reports and lack of physical evidence made it impossible for the prosecutors to tell the jurors exactly what happened during the fight between Zimmerman and Martin.
“Our belief as to what happened: He chased down Trayvon Martin, he wanted to make sure Travyon Martin did not get away,” said de la Rionda. “Now at what point he pulled out the gun? We could speculate as to what happened. My theory is that he pulled it out early. He was going to make sure he didn’t get away. He wanted to be a cop.”
Zimmerman first recounted his story to police at the Sanford police station on the night of the shooting. He then returned to the scene with police the next day to walk through the neighborhood and explain, in greater detail, his version of what led to the altercation between the two men and ultimately Martin’s death.
Complete sour grapes from the Prosecution
Check out the 4:45 where de la Rionda says you battle in the court room, but after its over you respect your opponent. Then when he is asked whether he respects the defense … he says nothing. Hypocrite, cry baby!
But even after that interview, gaps still remained in Zimmerman’s story. There weren’t enough details to get a complete picture of what happened. Investigators who responded to the scene the night of the killing have been criticized for not only possibly mishandling physical evidence, but for not following up with Zimmerman regarding specifics of what happened that night.
The prosecution was then left with gaps in Zimmerman’s story and not enough evidence to fill them in. Prosecutor de la Rionda told Politan they would have handled things differently on the night of the killing. He said they would have continued to question Zimmerman at the police station that night, while DNA and other pieces of evidence were being analyzed.
“We would have gone out and evaluated the evidence,” said de la Rionda. “We would have sat through the interview with George Zimmerman, and at that time we probably would have sat back and then analyzed what he said. The benefit is automatically (Zimmerman) doesn’t get an attorney, so in other words, if he’s still talking, let him keep talking. And then evaluate all the evidence,” said De la Rionda.

5 Year Old Jocelyn Rojas Abducted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania Saved by 15 Year Old Temar Boggs and his Friend from a Sex Offender (Kidnapper ID’d as Registered Sex Offender Harold Herr)
HEROES OF THE DAY …
As we are surrounded by so many who only want to cause trouble, promote vigilantism and divide us … along comes two heroes where race was irrelevant and all that mattered was the safety of a 5 year old little girl. God bless these two kids who stepped up, made a difference and saved a child from a certain peril at the hands of her abductor.
Five year old Jocelyn Rojas was kidnapped while playing in her front yard at the Lancaster Arms apartments in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. According to police, Jocelyn Rojas was lured away from her home by a man who promised her ice cream. The search began for the 5 year old girl as 15 year old Temar Boggs and his friend Chris Garcia took off on their bicycles trying to find her. About two hours later and about a half mile away from her home, the two boys spotted Jocelyn in a sedan and chased after the car on their bikes. After being followed, eventually the kidnapper let the child out of the car. She ran to Temar and said that she needed her mom.
From The Raw Story, speaking to a reporter with Lancaster Online on Saturday, 15-year-old Temar Boggs said he was helping move an elderly woman’s couch at a nearby apartment complex Thursday evening when someone approached asking if he’d seen a little girl.
Jocelyn Rojas
Two teenage boys are being hailed as heroes after they chased a car carrying a kidnapped girl — on their bicycles.
Five-year-old Jocelyn Rojas was playing in her front yard in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, when she vanished Thursday afternoon. Authorities believe she was abducted by a man who lured her by offering ice cream.
For two hours, neighbors and police scoured the area and asked if anyone had seen her.
Police are looking for the suspect, described as a white male between 50 and 70 years old. He was driving a reddish-purple or maroon car with round taillights. The man was wearing green shoes, green pants and a red-and-white striped shirt. He walked with a limp.
As reported at US News, on Monday the Lancaster County district attorney identified a registered sex offender, Harold Herr, as a person of interest in a potential kidnapping case.

NY Giants WR Victor Cruz Signs $43 Million Contract then Tweets Threat … “Zimmerman Doesn’t Last Year Before the Hood Catches Up To Him” … Then Apologizes and Deletes Tweet
Former NBA star Charles Barkley was right, athletes should not role models.
So what do NFL athletes do after they sign a 5 year, $43 million contract? They go on Twitter and tweet irresponsible, inflammatory and vigilante comments. Such was the case following the George Zimmerman verdict when a jury of six woman determined that Zimmerman was “not guilty” of murder or manslaughter in the death of Trayvon Martin. The New York Giants recent $43 million man, Victor Cruz, decided to ignorantly fan the flames of vigilantism and interject himself into a racially heated subject of George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin. Following the verdict, Victor Cruz tweeted, “… Zimmerman doesn’t last a year before the hood catches up to him.” Are you kidding me? Just what the NFL needs, another player acting all gangsta. You think that the NFL has had a black enough eye from the murder charges against former New England Patriot TE Aaron Hernandez. Should those in the NFL really be criticizing anyone with the arrest record of their players since last years Super Bowl? Individuals like Cruz et all need to shut up and play.
A note to Victor Cruz, it’s not just blacks who by your jersey.
But then as reported by the NY Post, the brave, brash and scholar of the George Zimmerman murder trial deleted his tweet. Cruz stated that he realized his tweet was wrong and has apologized. Actually, he most lokely got a text from his agent or Giant management that said, WTF … delete the tweet, or we will delete your $43 million contract.
Upon further view, Victor Cruz shouldn’t have predicted a vigilante death for George Zimmerman.
The Giants popular and squeaky clean wide receiver apologized this afternoon for an unfortunate tweet he wrote last night, moments after the neighborhood watch volunteer was cleared on all charges.
“My tweet last night was my initial interpretation of the reaction I was reading on twitter. I immediately realized my tweet was a mistake and I apologize, that’s why I deleted it,” Cruz said a Twitter statement today. “I believe conversation not confrontation leads to change and progress.”
Here are a bunch of many more irresponsible tweets from athletes who most likely did not watch any of the George Zimmerman trial or even understand Florida’s self defense laws.
UPDATE I: Hollywood liberal celebrities react to George Zimmerman verdict. I wonder if the roles were reversed and Trayvon had killed Zimmerman if all of these tweets would be the same? Oh the hypocrisy. Hmm, wasn’t it the Hollywood LEFT who backed cop killer, Mumia Abu-Jamal?

Ann Coulter on FOX News … George Zimmerman was a “Sacrificial Lamb for This Media Narrative about America as being Run by the Klan”
No one makes the LEFT go crazy like Ann Coulter …
Ann Coulter appears on Fox & Friends – Weekend and commented on State Attorney Angela Corey’s words that the George Zimmerman trial was race based. Coulter went on to say that much of the commentary on the case had nothing to do with the trial or the evidence in the trial. She stated the trial was a media led mob and an innocent man almost went to prison for 30 years. Because Al Sharpton stirred up hatred and creating narrative of which there was any evidence. And after a long trial there was still no evidence. We have the 911 call and Zimmerman has a law suit against NBC for doctoring a tape making it sound like he was racist.
Ann Coulter may be brash, but she pretty much tells the story of George Zimmerman like it is.
“Obama brought it all back because the liberal media needs this ‘Mississippi Burning’ narrative in order to promote the black president with his liberal policies, which is what they care about.”
Exit Questions: Wasn’t the election of Barack Obama supposed to change race relations and move us past a certain point and make things better? As Tucker Carlson says, “that just isn’t true.”

George Zimmerman Attorney James Beasley Says All Ahead Full in Lawsuit Against NBC News Now that Verdict of “Not Guilty” Returned by Jury in Murder Trial
James Beasley, George Zimmerman’s attorney in his law suit for defamation of character against NBC News for doctoring and mis-editing Zimmeramn’s 911 call, stated that they are going forward and full speed ahead now that the criminal murder case against Zimmerman is over and he was found “not guilty”. Every one is talking about George Zimmerman’s legal troubles, a most certain civil lawsuit by the estate of Trayvon martin and a possible federal civil rights charge by the DOJ, even though the FBI has previous found that Zimmerman was not racist and did not display any prejudice or racial bias. But it would appear the most immediate legal action is going to be that of George Zimmerman suing NBC News for defamation.
Last night’s not-guilty verdict in the George Zimmerman trial will enable the neighborhood-watch volunteer to resume his case against NBC News for the mis-editing of his widely distributed call to police. Back in December, Zimmerman sued NBC Universal Media for defamation over the botched editing, which depicted him as a hardened racial profiler.
The company also noted the pivotal nature of the second-degree murder case: “[I]f Zimmerman is convicted, that fact alone will constitute substantial evidence that the destruction of his reputation is the result of his own criminal conduct, and not of the broadcasts at issue which, like countless other news reports disseminated by media entities throughout the country, reported on the underlying events.”
That formulation is now null.
According to Zimmerman attorney James Beasley, the case against NBC News was stayed pending the outcome of the criminal case. Now that’s out of the way, and Beasley is ready to proceed. “We’re going to start in earnest asap, we just have to get the stay lifted which is a ministerial act,” says Beasley, a Philadelphia lawyer, via e-mail.
Brent Bozell and Sean Hannity discussing the media and political bias against George Zimmerman … the NBC doctored 911 tape
NBC News presented the 911 call as follows, in a March 27, 2012, broadcast of the “Today” show, abridged the tape of Zimmerman’s comments to a police dispatcher on the evening of Feb. 26, 2012:
Zimmerman: This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black.
However, the undoctored and full tape went like this:
Zimmerman: This guy looks like he’s up to no good. Or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about. Dispatcher: OK, and this guy — is he black, white or Hispanic?
Zimmerman: He looks black.
NewsBuster reminds us that NBC has since fired three employees because of this incident, but claims that it did not engage in a deliberate misrepresentation of the facts. Oh, of course not. This was an obvious case of NBC News going out of their way to doctor a 911 call to present a narrative to the American people that would support the LEFT’s witch hunt of Zimmerman. It could not be more clear. As Patterico’s Pontifications opines, one of the biggest villains in this case was “Big Media” and NBC was at the head of the list.
EXIT QUESTION: When has the news media ever had to edit a 911 tape except to take out expletives or addresses?
