No Chance for Fraud Here, NOT!!! Obamacare Will Not Be Required to Verify Consumers’ Income and Health Insurance Status
What else could possibly be wrong with the implementation of Obamacare? This healthcare disaster needs to be completely scrapped and they need to start over from scratch.
The WAPO is reporting that the Obama administration is going to significantly scale back the Obamacare requirements that new insurance marketplaces verify consumers’ income and health insurance status. Instead of having a strong verification system in place to determine eligibility, Obama and his minions are going to reply on the honor system consumer’ self-reporting. Who could possibly see an issue with that? The verification systems are meant to determine who qualifies for new benefits under the Affordable Care Act and who would get tax subsidies to purchase health insurance. Why on earth would we want to put controls in place so not to waste the tax payer’s hard earned money on fraud. Not in Obamaland where he believes in redistribution of wealth, whether its its fraudulent or not. Seriously, we are going to use the honor system? What could possibly go wrong here? As stated at Forbes, ‘Not Qualified For Obamacare’s Subsidies? Just Lie — Govt. To Use ‘Honor System’ Without Verifying Your Eligibility’. Can you say, Fraud, Fraud, Fraud? GOOD GRIEF!!!
The Obama administration announced Friday that it would significantly scale back the health law’s requirements that new insurance marketplaces verify consumers’ income and health insurance status.
Instead, the federal government will rely more heavily on consumers’ self-reported information until 2015, when it plans to have stronger verification systems in place.
The delay comes after a Tuesday announcement that the federal government would postpone for one year a requirement that employers with 50 or more full-time workers provide health coverage.
“I think that Health and Human Services is doing the best that it can under the circumstances,” said Sara Rosenbaum, a health policy professor at George Washington University.
The verification systems are meant to determine who qualifies for new benefits under the Affordable Care Act. The law includes tax subsidies to purchase health insurance for Americans who earn less than 400 percent of the poverty line, about $45,000 for an individual.
How ironic is it that Obama’s signature piece of legislation would be rife with fraud and the ability to be eligible by just saying so? Does this man care anything about the law or tax payer’s money?
As stated at Powerline, this is nothing more than an invitation to fraud. Ya think? As some one who was worked with healthcare contracts to prevent fraud, this is hardly the way one goes about preventing fraud. Maybe some one would like to ask Obama and HHS Sec. Kathleen Sebelius why they don’t take the word of doctors, providers and suppliers with Medicare and Medicaid eligibility enrollment?
This issue is a direct result of Obama saying last week that the employer mandate for insurance coverage would be delayed until 2015, conveniently after the 2014 midterm elections. However, this is what happens when you have such an incestuous law like Obamacare. As Nancy Peolsi had previously told us, “we need to pass it in order to find out what is in it”. As Obama changes the timelines of the law, which is most likely illegal to do without consent of Congress, we see the ramifications of the domino effect.
The federal government also needs to know who receives health insurance coverage from an employer. Consumers who receive affordable health insurance from their company under a policy that costs less than 9.5 percent of their income do not qualify for tax credits under the Affordable Care Act.
New regulations published Friday scaled back the federal government’s role in determining whether information submitted to new health marketplace is accurate.
After encountering “legislative and operational barriers,” the federal government will not require the District and the 16 states that are running their own marketplaces to verify a consumer’s statement that they do not receive health insurance from their employer.
AT WHAT POINT IS CONGRESS GOING TO DE-FUND THIS DISASTER?
Wake up America, Obamacare was never intended to provide healthcare to the uninsured, it was intended to destroy the way health care insurance is delivered to employees and individuals in order to create a government controlled single healthcare payer system.
Update I: The Lonely Conservative linked to Obama-fraud, thanks!

This bill that became law was never about real health care. It was about the take over of the massive world class heath care system built by individuals and groups outside of the federal government.
The Democrats designed and passed this bill themselves when they had the votes in congress and our socialist/communist trained POTUS signed it into law. It goes against everything that our Constitution was created to protect.
It was also designed to provide a perceived social justice for those too lazy to educate themselves or work and to tie their existence firmly to the Democrat Party.
The entire legislation is a total piece of garbage and should have been declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. However, once again politics played a part in the decision to rewrite it to qualify it as a tax.
The Supreme Court as it is now constituted is a useless part of the Constitutional process have allowed themselves to be co-opted by the Executive and Congressional branches.
John Roberts and the other liberals on the court should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
Why should we be surprised?? Since the Feds don’t require you to prove citizenship when you register to vote, why should this be any different?? They don’t want you to provide and ID to vote. They are more interested in making everything fast & easy. Why should anyone be concerned with accuracy and legality?? Have to dumb everything down so all of the idiots can get their free money and vote.

Don’t forget the 2014 elections.
By delaying the full implementation by another year, low information voters won’t feel the full economic “hit” of Obamacare until later.
That way, they will be more likely to re-elect the Democrats who voted for this mess in Congress…rather than taking their ire out against them.
